Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi Math City Map pada materi luas bangun datar di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Hasil validasi ahli materi 90,7%, ahli Bahasa 90,7% dan ahli media 93%dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil praktiikalitas respon guru disekolah ujicoba adalah 90,7% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respon peserta didik 88,2% kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan hasil respon guru pada sekolah penelitian pertama adalah 93% kategori sangat praktis dan peserta didik 92,6% kategori sangat praktis. Sekolah penelitian kedua mendapatkan respon guru yaitu 96% kategori sangat praktis dan peserta didik 96,52% kategori sangat praktis. Hasil uji efektivitas media pembelajaran menunjukan peningkatan di sekolah ujicoba dari 66,7% menjadi 89,5%. Sekolah penelitian pertama hasil uji efektivitas yakni 72,9% meningkat menjadi 92,4% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dan di sekolah penelitian kedua hasil uji efektivitasnya juga mengalami peningkatan yakni dari 74,4% meningkat menjadi 90,2% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dengan demikian media pembeljaaran berbantuan aplikasi Math City Map pada materi luas bangun datar di kelas IV SD dapat dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of mathematical concepts among students, which is caused by teacher-centered learning and limited use of interactive learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of using the CTL learning model with interactive digital media on the understanding of the area measurement concept of fourth-grade students at SD Gugus I in Sawahlunto City. The type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design using the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of fourth-grade students of SDN 03 Aur Tajungkang as the experimental class and fourth-grade students of SDN 13 Pasar Remaja as the control class, with a total sample of 46 students. Data collection techniques were through tests in the form of pretests and posttests. Data were analyzed using normality tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test. The research results obtained data with an average student learning outcome in the experimental class of 72.75, while in the control class it was 48.00. The hypothesis test results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) < 0.001 which means < 0.05, so H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the CTL learning model based on interactive digital media can be used as one of the alternative learning models that is effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. After conducting the research, the author suggests that in the learning process, the Contextual Teaching and Learning model using interactive digital media can be applied in schools as an interactive learning medium, in order to create a more effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby impacting better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at an elementary school in Padang, especially on the topic of geometric nets. Preliminary data shows that only 15% of students achieve the minimum completion criteria. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with the principles of Deep Learning (Mindful, Meaningful, and Joyful Learning). The methodology used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and McTaggart which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 20 fifth-grade students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and tests, which were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques (mixed-methods). The results of the study showed a significant increase in the quality of learning and student achievement. Teacher activity scores increased from 86.11% in Cycle I to 94.44% in Cycle II, while student activity increased from 83.33% to 91.67%. Furthermore, the average student learning outcomes increased from 69.5 in Cycle I to 81.13 in Cycle II, with a completion percentage reaching 80%. It can be concluded that the Deep Learning integrated PjBL model effectively improves learning outcomes for elementary school students on spatial nets by transforming abstract concepts into concrete projects.
