Abstract

Pencemaran air Sungai Cigentis akibat limbah domestik dan aktivitas pertanian menurunkan kualitas air dan mengancam lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan distribusi konsentrasi Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) dan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) di Sungai Cigentis, menggunakan perangkat lunak QUAL2Kw. Data diambil melalui metode grab sampling pada tiga segmen sungai hulu, tengah, dan hilir, dan dianalisis berdasarkan skenario debit maksimum dan debit aktual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan konsentrasi BOD dan COD serta penurunan pH pada debit maksimum, dengan konsentrasi tertinggi di segmen hilir BOD 3,54 mg/L, COD 14,14 mg/L, pH 7,48. Sebaliknya, pada debit aktual, konsentrasi parameter pada segmen hilir lebih rendah BOD 2,82 mg/L, COD 3,91 mg/L, pH 8,30. Kondisi debit maksimum memperlihatkan limpasan permukaan membawa beban pencemar lebih tinggi, khususnya dari aktivitas domestik dan pertanian di sekitar sungai. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran distribusi parameter kualitas air yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi pengelolaan lingkungan sungai.

Abstract

Dalam mencapai kelancaran proses produksi perusahaan tentunya memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai aspek meliputi perawatan dan ketersediaan mesin yang selalu dapat digunakan secara optimal. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) merupakan tools dari total productive maintenance (TPM). PT. JX Nippon Oil & Lubricant Energy Indonesia yang merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi pelumas otomotif menerapkan metode OEE dalam mengukur optimalitas penggunaan mesin Filling K-201. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada periode maret-april 2023 yaitu sebesar 85.50% dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu pada bulan maret sebesar 85,96%. Dari ketiga faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness, didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor performance merupakan yang paling rendah dibandingkan dengan faktor availability dan quality. Perusahaan perlu melakukan perbaikan untuk dapat meningkatkan nilai dari faktor performance. Analisis Six Big Losses dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap turunnya OEE. Didapatkan hasil berupa dua faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi turunnya OEE, yaitu faktor reduced speed losses dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 14,05% dan dengan persentase kumulatif sebesar 44,26%. Faktor kedua yang terbesar adalah idling and minor stoppages yang memiliki persentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 13,68% dan dengan persentase kumulatifnya yaitu sebesar 87,33%.Kata Kunci:  Mesin, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Six Big Losses

Abstract

Kandayas Furniture is one of the companies engaged in manufacturing tables. The table production process goes through several stages. Based on field observations and interviews that have been conducted, problems arise from the company's production process. The problem exists in the assembly process because many products are waiting, so there is a buildup in the assembly process of the table. The buildup occurs because the assembly process to the finished material warehouse has a considerable distance difference. This resulted in an ineffective production process. Then, in Promodel Now the movement of each work station still uses human labor which results in delays in the production process. From this problem, it is obtained that the process flow changes are more structured, the material handling distance from assembly to finished goods is shorter because there are changes in the lay out that we propose and make material handling time more efficient, using handlift conveyance in each flow, adding assembly operators due to bottlenecks in assembly due to the paint drying process, using a paint oven machine for drying paint to shorten the time and reduce the accumulation of goods, and implementing K3 according to the SOP so that employees avoid work accidents. Abstract

PT Asia Pacific Fibers (Karawang Plant), salah satu perusahaan tekstil terkemuka di Indonesia, menghadapi tantangan dalam merencanakan produksi yang efisien untuk menghindari penumpukan stok dan kekurangan pasokan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode peramalan, yaitu Double Exponential Smoothing, Moving Average, dan Regresi Linear, guna menentukan metode terbaik untuk kebutuhan produksi perusahaan. Data jumlah produksi permintaan tahun 2023 dari mesin FL-61 digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Regresi Linear memiliki performa terbaik dengan MSE terkecil dari ketiga metode di atas, yaitu sebesar 282.815,76, MADsebesar 379,87, dan MAPE sebesar 14,43%. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung PT Asia Pacific Fibers (Karawang Plant) dalam mengoptimalkan proses produksinya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan di pasar global. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengintegrasikan teknologi IoT untuk meningkatkan akurasi dan fleksibilitas perencanaan produksi secara real-time.Kata Kunci: peramalan, double exponential smoothing, moving average, regresi linear, perencanaan produksi

Abstract

Background: This community service initiative aimed to enhance students' understanding of spatial planning and environmental impact analysis in regional development at SMA Ibnu Hajar Boarding School. Using participatory and educational approaches, the activity was conducted in three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Method: The methods included interactive presentations, case studies, and simulations of sustainable spatial planning. Result: Survey results from 17 respondents revealed that 94.1% of students comprehended the material, with 35.3% rating it highly relevant to their prior learning. However, 5.9% of students required more varied approaches, such as interactive media or in-depth discussions. The activity successfully fostered critical thinking and environmental awareness among students, though challenges like diverse learning styles remain. Conclusion: Recommendations for future initiatives include adopting project-based methods and collaborating with relevant institutions to deepen students' understanding.

Abstract

Abstract. Waste volume in Karawang City that can be handled will only be 40% and the other 60% will be managed by waste banks and temporary shelter. Innovation in waste recycling is needed, one of which is making plastic waste as raw material for paving block production. This research aims to assess how using plastic waste as a material in making paving blocks affects their compressive strength and water absorption, with the potential to reduce overall plastic waste and explore alternatives to conventional materials. This research focuses on testing water absorption capacity and compressive strength based on SNI 03–0691–1996 standards for making paving blocks. The water absorption test results on PVG 1 and 2 are up to 38.46% larger than PVG 3 and 4 because there are many cavities in PVG 1 and 2 that making were below standard, and PVG 3 and 4 were at quality standard level B. The compressive quality test of PVG 1 and 2 have a more noticeable compressive quality regard with a typical regard of 6,075 MPa compared to clearing squares with a full plastic composition with an ordinary regard of 4,745 MPa. It happens since of insufficient and manual burning, but it can too be caused by an ought to utilize plastic waste and the got to age the clearing squares being attempted. When compared with the quality Indonesian National Standard (SNI 03 - 0691 – 1996), the compressive quality test of the clearing inside the examination did not meet the standard.Keywords: Plastic Waste, Paving Block, Water Absorption Test, Compressive Strength

Abstract

Domestic wastewater discharge remains a major factor contributing to the deterioration of river water quality, as untreated effluents are still commonly released directly into river systems. This concern is particularly evident in the downstream segment of the Kusan River tributary, situated in the villages of Sungai Lembu and Beringin. The intensifying expansion of residential settlements in the area has been identified as a key driver of pollution in the Kusan River, with its scale increasing annually. Environmental degradation arises when the pollutant load exceeds the assimilative capacity of the aquatic ecosystem. Under such conditions, the natural recovery process becomes protracted and increasingly ineffective, resulting in persistent contamination. This research is designed to assess the influence of surrounding anthropogenic activities on the water pollution index and the ecological condition of the Kusan River tributary in the aforementioned villages, within Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan Province, employing the Water Pollution Index (WPI) methodology. Based on laboratory analyses, Total Suspended Solids (TSS) concentrations in the lower reaches of the tributary exceed 50 mg/L, thus surpassing the threshold set by Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 concerning Water Quality Management and Pollution Control. Moreover, findings from the pollution index evaluation indicate that water quality in the study area ranges from good to lightly polluted, with index scores varying between 0.33 and 1.73.

Abstract

Industry is all forms of economic activity whose process is to change basic materials to produce products or finished goods that have added value or are beneficial to society. The purpose of this study is to identify the comparison of diesel fuel and natural gas costs in boilers at PT. Ogawa, to determine the efficiency value of natural gas fuel in boilers, and to determine the risks of using diesel fuel and natural gas. This study is a qualitative research, namely by interviewing employees in the Industry and Commercial sales division who are tasked with seeking information on prospective customers who will subscribe to gas from PGN. The results of the analysis obtained using literature studies are the average consumption of diesel fuel in boilers per month is 40,000 liters / month and estimated fuel costs of around Rp380,000,000, - / month, greater than the use of natural gas fuel of 42,350 m^3 / month and estimated fuel costs of around Rp229,108,000, - / month. So the use of natural gas fuel is superior compared to the use of diesel fuel

Abstract

Indonesia rentan terhadap banjir, diperburuk oleh perubahan iklim. Mitigasi banjir menjadi fokus utama pemerintah, namun implementasinya menghadapi tantangan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh organizational behavior (OB) terhadap peran satuan kerja pemerintah dalam mitigasi banjir di Gedebage, Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan simulasi role-playing dengan mahasiswa magister sebagai responden yang berperan sebagai pejabat di BBWS Citarum dan Bappenas/Bappeda. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan antara variabel-variabel OB dengan kepuasan kerja, dan antara kepuasan kerja dengan kapasitas organisasi dalam mengurangi risiko banjir. Kepemimpinan memiliki korelasi terkuat dengan kepuasan kerja. Konflik menjadi aspek OB dengan persentase terendah, mengindikasikan perlunya perhatian lebih dalam manajemen konflik. Peningkatan kepuasan kerja melalui penerapan prinsip OB dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kapasitas organisasi dalam mitigasi banjir. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk melibatkan pengumpulan data lapangan dan memperluas lingkup penelitian.

Abstract

Tourism is an activity that is of concern to Indonesian people, especially beach tourism, such as at Siring Pagatan Beach, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan. This tourism is dominated by culinary, religious, and transportation activities which have an impact on increasing the creative economy of the community. However, these activities also have the potential to cause environmental and health problems due to gas emissions and noise. To avoid the impact, it is necessary to identify and analyze the ambient air quality and noise levels at Siring Pagatan Beach. This study is essential, considering the vast potential and development of tourism activities in the research area, which is close to residential areas. In the study area, the ambient air quality, in terms of total particulates; PM10; PM2.5; NO2; SO2; and CO were measured using Indonesian National Standard No. 19-7119.6-2005 in four locations, while noise levels were carried out in 2 two locations according to Indonesian National Standard No. 8427-2017 in the study area. The results showed that the total amount of total particulates; PM10; PM2.5; NO2; SO2; and CO are 60.23-90.15; 25.07-70.02; 14.66-48.01; 0.95-5.31; 14.46-26.48; and 1917.14-1382.86 g/m3. Meanwhile, the noise obtained was 52.00-52.20 dBA. The value of these environmental components is below the threshold value in Indonesia. However, with ongoing tourism infrastructure development activities, there is the potential for increased pollutant concentrations and noise levels at the research location, which may impact the surrounding community in the long term.
