Abstract

Sungai Krueng Jantho mempunyai peranan penting dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya air, konservasi DAS, dan pengendalian daya rusak air. Pengerukan material sungai telah berdampak pada rusaknya faktor ekologi sungai Krueng Jantho, khususnya degradasi dasar sungai yang dapat memicu runtuhnya tebing sungai dan pilar jembatan. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan merencanakan bangunan pengaturan sungai Krueng Jantho. Lokasi yang ditinjau terletak di Desa Alue Gintung Kecamatan Seulimuem Kabupaten Aceh Besar . Data dan peta yang dikumpulkan adalah peta daerah aliran sungai, data debit sungai dari pos pengukuran muka air (AWLR) Krueng Aceh, dan data topografi serta penampang sungai. Metode perhitungan pembangkitan data debit digunakan metode Markov Chain, analisis debit banjir rencana menggunakan metode distribusi Log Pearson tipe III, dan perencanaan bangunan groundsill untuk pengaturan dan pengamanan dasar sungai. Bangunan groundsill untuk debit 25 tahunan direncanakan dengan lebar groundsill 80,00 m, tinggi groundsill 1,00 m  dan tebal mercu groundsill 4,00 m.

Abstract

Krueng Jantho river has an important role in the utilization of water resources, watershed conservation, and control of water damage. Dredging of river material has resulted in damage to the ecological factors of the Krueng Jantho river, specifically the degradation of the riverbed which can trigger the collapse of river banks and bridge pillars. The location under review is located in Alue Gintung Village, Seulimuem District, Aceh Besar Regency. Data and maps collected are watershed maps, river discharge data from the Krueng Aceh water level measurement post (AWLR), and topographical and river cross-section data. The method of calculating the generation of discharge data is used the Markov Chain method, the analysis of flood discharge plans using the Pearson Log type III distribution method, and the groundsill building planning for river bottom management and security. The groundsill building for the 25 yearly discharge is planned to be 80.00 m wide, groundsill 1,00 m high and 4.00 m thick groundsill lighthouse.

Abstract

Pengeringan pisang sale merupakan langkah krusial dalam proses produksi pisang sale, sebuah produk olahan tradisional yang menjadi sumber mata pencaharian utama bagi masyarakat Kampung Baroh, Langsa. Namun, metode pengeringan tradisional yang selama ini digunakan sering kali tidak efisien, memakan waktu lama, dan kurang memenuhi standar kebersihan. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat pengering pisang sale yang sederhana, efisien, dan mudah digunakan oleh masyarakat setempat, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kualitas produksi serta memberdayakan ekonomi lokal. Proses pengembangan alat pengering ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat Kampung Baroh. Tim pengabdian bekerja sama dengan warga untuk merancang, menguji, dan memperbaiki prototipe alat pengering yang sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan dan budaya setempat, serta memenuhi standar keamanan pangan dan sanitasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat pengering yang dikembangkan mampu menghasilkan pisang sale dengan kualitas yang lebih baik, baik dari segi tekstur, rasa, maupun kebersihan. Selain itu, alat ini juga mempercepat proses pengeringan yang sebelumnya memakan waktu berhari-hari menjadi hanya sekitar 10 jam. Dampak positif dari keberadaan alat ini adalah peningkatan produktivitas masyarakat Kampung Baroh, yang kini dapat memasok pisang sale ke pasar lokal dan regional dengan lebih cepat dan efisien.

Abstract

The Keuliling Dam has an important role in meeting water supply needs in the surrounding area. After operating for more than 10 years, an evaluation of operation and maintenance performance is required to ensure its continued function. This research aims to analyze the condition of the Keuliling Dam through assessing the condition index for each dam component based on primary and secondary data. The assessment is carried out by providing a condition index value that reflects the level of damage to the safety aspects and environmental performance of the dam. The results of the analysis show that the condition index value for the Keuliling Dam is 4, which is included in the minor damage category. This condition indicates the need for maintenance action to prevent further damage. Based on observations, deposition of material and rubbish is one of the main problems that affects dam performance. This research provides an important basis for managers in determining strategic steps to improve the performance of dam operations and maintenance. The evaluation carried out aims to ensure that the Keuliling Dam can continue to function optimally, support water supply, and minimize the risk of more serious damage. It is hoped that the recommendations from this research can become a reference in managing dams effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Aceh Province is experiencing rapid changes in infrastructure along with population growth and globalization and urbanization. This development and growth has led to a significant increase in the construction of high-rise buildings in urban areas. In multi-storey buildings, the use of materials that have a low albedo against solar radiation, so that a lot of radiation is absorbed and stored in the form of heat in the building so that it can increase the temperature of the building up to 12 °C. The absence of heat absorbers such as green plants around the building affects the thermal comfort of building occupants. Thermal comfort can be measured using various parameters, one of which is the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). The use of green plants of the type of Sansevieria Ttrifasciata which is used as a building envelope for 7 days on the 2nd floor of the Samudra University Laboratory building to measure the temperature difference after being absorbed first by the (Sansevieria Ttrifasciata) in the photosynthesis process. The results show that the THI thermal comfort index is reached at 25°C to 26°C with the conditions shown based on the ASHRAE 55 standard is thermally comfortable.

Abstract

Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk menguji hipotesis bahwa model Problem-Based Learning berpengaruh pada minat belajar matematika siswa di lingkungan SDN 200117 Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain kuantitarif dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 35 siswa di Kelas V SD Negeri 200117 Padangsidimpuan. Data yang didapatkan dari riset ini diolah memakai teknik analisis uji t. Uji Paired Sampel T-Test merupakan jenis uji t yang dipakai dan diukur dengan bantuan aplikasi program SPSS 23.0. Penelitian ini memperoleh output berupa angka signifikansi sebesar 0,00 hasilnya lebih kecil dari nilai ? yaitu 0,05. Nilai tersebut mengandung makna adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari model Problem-Based Learning terhadap tingkat minat belajar matematika siswa. Pada proses pengujian hipotesis yang diberlakukan dengan memakai uji t, menunjukkan dengan jelas bahwa t hitung bernilai 47,031 dengan standar signifikansi (?) = 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan yaitu 33, selanjutnya nilai t tabel tercatat sebesar 0,344. Hasil uji statistic menunjukkan bahwa t hitung (47,031) lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (0,344) maka dengan demikian Ho di tolak dan otomatis penerimaan pada Ha, yang artinya menunjukkan bahwa model Problem-Based Learning terbukti memberikan pengaruh terhadap minat belajar matematika siswa. Pengujian ini secara statistik membuktikan bahwa minat belajar matematika siswa dipengaruhi secara positif oleh model Problem-Based Learning.

Abstract

The plant with the Latin name Averhoa Bilimbi L or better known as belimbing wuluh is one of the vegetable plants that is widely used as a seasoning for dishes, one of which is sunti acid, which is the result of drying from belimbing wuluh. The star fruit plant also bears fruit throughout the year. The people of Aceh, especially the people of Gampong Paya Bujok, utilize dried star fruit into sunti acid for cooking spices. Inefficient drying will affect drying, for example weather factors and the length of the drying process caused by sunlight not being obtained for 24 hours. The purpose of this community service is to obtain an efficient drying process and hygiene of the product by utilizing a dryer from a used gas-fueled drum. Abstract

Road paving works play a critical role in supporting economic growth and public welfare, as mandated by Government Regulation No. 34/2006. However, the implementation of such projects is often hindered by road damage and the limited availability of heavy equipment and skilled operators. This study aims to identify the types of heavy equipment used, calculate their production capacity, and analyze the duration of major construction phases. The method applied is time study, using primary data collected from field surveys and secondary data from supporting documents such as construction drawings and literature. The results indicate that each type of equipment showed varying levels of productivity deviation between planning and actual implementation. Dump trucks increased in productivity from 2.98 m³ to 3.49 m³, while motor graders decreased from 366.18 m³ to 317.475 m³. Significant increases were observed in the vibrator roller and air compressor, whereas asphalt finisher, tandem roller, and pneumatic tired roller experienced substantial drops in productivity. The asphalt sprayer maintained consistent performance at 4.980 liters/hour. In conclusion, heavy equipment productivity is significantly influenced by equipment type, field conditions, and operational coordination, all of which are crucial to ensuring timely project completion with quality standards met.

Abstract

Balok beton bertulang merupakan elemen struktural fundamental dalam berbagai jenis bangunan. Namun, seiring waktu, balok ini rentan mengalami degradasi dan kerusakan akibat berbagai faktor lingkungan dan beban operasional, yang seringkali memerlukan upaya perbaikan dan perkuatan untuk memulihkan atau meningkatkan kapasitas layannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi penggunaan komposit serat alam sebagai material alternatif yang efektif untuk perbaikan dan perkuatan balok beton bertulang. Berbagai jenis serat alam, seperti serat bambu, rami, dan sutra, beserta matriks pengikatnya, dieksplorasi potensinya untuk aplikasi struktural. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan pembuatan sampel balok beton bertulang yang mengalami kerusakan terkontrol, kemudian dilakukan perkuatan eksternal menggunakan komposit serat alam. Sampel yang telah diperkuat ini kemudian diuji lentur untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan kapasitas beban, kekakuan, dan daktilitas dibandingkan dengan balok kontrol tanpa perkuatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komposit serat alam mampu memberikan peningkatan signifikan pada kinerja lentur balok beton bertulang yang rusak, dengan pola kegagalan yang bervariasi tergantung pada jenis serat dan metode aplikasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa serat alam merupakan material yang menjanjikan untuk rehabilitasi infrastruktur beton, menawarkan solusi yang lebih berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan material konstruksi hijau dan strategi perbaikan struktur yang efisien.

Abstract

A dam is a structure designed to ensure the sustainable availability of water supply. One dam that plays a significant role in this regard is the Keuliling Dam, which makes a major contribution to meeting the water needs of the community. Despite offering numerous benefits, the existence of a dam also poses potential risks that must be properly anticipated. As part of mitigation efforts and maintenance planning, analysis of the buffer zone and greenbelt is essential at Keuliling Dam. This study employs a combination of primary and secondary data to support the evaluation process of the buffer zone and greenbelt conditions at the dam. The aim of this analysis is to assess each component based on observation results using a condition index approach. The assessment process begins with identifying damage in each subcomponent, followed by assigning scores according to the level of damage observed. Based on the analysis results, the condition index for the buffer zone and greenbelt is recorded at level 4, which indicates minor damage. This value reflects the current condition of these two components and serves as a critical reference for the planning and implementation of maintenance activities to ensure the dam's functionality is properly maintained.
