Abstract

Early adulthood Class in order to be able to graduate in the desired major at a State University, which suits the student's desires and abilities, and all of this is of course not an easy thing for class XII students to pass, so this often makes students feel anxiety and also reduces the level of self-confidence in students, in facing their future. This research uses a literature study method using a qualitative approach, describing a literature review as a written synopsis of books, papers and journal articles that provide knowledge and theory. The results of this research are reducing student anxiety and increasing student confidence using the REBT approach in group counseling.

Abstract

Islam Liberal adalah satu bentuk pemikiran baru yang dianuti sebahagian besar cendekiawan muslim khususnya yang berlatar belakang pendidikan barat. Penyebaran fahaman Islam liberal ini telah tersebar luas di kalangan cendekiawan muslim Indonesia. Bagi golongan ini agama hendaklah ditundukkan kepada waqi' (realiti) semasa. Penyebar fahaman liberal ini di Indonesia adalah satu jaringan organisasi yang disebut dengan "Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL). Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL) berdiri rasmi pada tanggal 8 Mac 2001. Tujuan JIL adalah melawan segala bentuk fundamentalisme dan radikalisme agama. Golongan ini menggunakan metod pentafsiran Al-Quran yang berbeza dengan metod pentafsiran ulama-ulama tafsir sebelumnya dengan menggunakan kaedah Hermeneutika. Hermeneutika adalah merupakan alat yang diguna pakai terhadap teks dalam menganalisis dan memahami maksud teks serta menampakkan nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian kajian ini akhirnya mendapati kaedah Hermeneutika boleh mendekonstruksi (merubah) syariat agama Islam misalnya dengan mengatakan Al-Quran adalah produk budaya, finalitas kenabian Muhammad Saw perlu ditinjau kembali dan lain lain yang sangat menyimpang jauh dari keyakinan Ahli Sunnah wal Jamaah. Peranan Hermeneutika adalah untuk menyingkirkan ilmu alat yang selama ini dipakai dan disepakati ulama tafsir dalam mentafsirkan al-Quran seperti Usul al- Tafsir dan Ulum al-Quran dan beberapa ilmu lain yang telah lama dipakai dalam tradisi Islam. Salah satu tokoh cendekiawan Indonesia yang menggunakan kaedah Hermeneutika dalam pentafsiran ayat al Quran adalah H. Munawir Sjadzali.

Abstract

Addiction to viewing live online video games has become a big problem, with many students experiencing the detrimental effects of addiction to watching live online games streaming virtually every day. This reliance on watching live online video games needs to be avoided because it can interfere with daily living. The study's goal is to describe the condition of online video game addiction in pupils. In this study, 290 students were chosen at random using standard random sampling procedures. The addiction scale is used by the study instrument to watch live online video games. Using descriptive statistical tools and data analysis methodologies. The findings revealed that pupils with very low categories 22.07%, low category 19.31%, middle category 52.41%, high category 4.48% and very high category 1.72%.

Abstract

Enhancing Early Mathematics Learning Through an Interactive Storybook: A Development and Validation Study. Objective: This research aims to develop and implement an active mathematics learning paradigm for early childhood through illustrated storybooks that integrate fundamental mathematical concepts, namely numbers, patterns, geometry, measurement, and statistics. The goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate platform that encourages engagement, improves math proficiency, hones problem-solving skills, and makes learning more meaningful and enjoyable. Methods: The methodology used is a development research based on the Dick and Carey model. The validation process involved mathematicians, early childhood education experts, kindergarten educators, and media experts. Data were obtained through surveys, interviews, observations, and limited trials involving 14 children aged 5–6 years in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, Indonesia. Quantitative data analysis employed descriptive statistics, pretest-posttest comparisons, normality tests, and homogeneity tests. At the same time, qualitative data were obtained from expert evaluations and instructor comments. Findings: The validation results showed that the developed media met the criteria of validity, practicality, and efficacy, with scores from PAUD experts of 88.00%, mathematics experts of 89.33%, early childhood teachers of 81.54%, and media experts of 88.00%, with an overall category of "very good". In the limited trial stage, an average pretest score of 17.59 and a posttest score of 25.2 were obtained, indicating a significant increase in all mathematics indicators. The normality test (p > 0.05) indicated that the data were normally distributed, while the homogeneity test (p > 0.05) indicated that the data were homogeneous. The t-test results showed that the calculated t-value for all indicators was greater than the t-table value (1.771) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the media had a significant impact on improving children's mathematics abilities. Observations revealed positive responses from the children, including increased interest, focus, and active involvement. Conclusions: Active math storybooks have been recognized as an innovative learning tool for early childhood, helping educators create a stimulating learning environment and serving as an effective resource for parents. The design, which combines stories, games, and interactive activities, has been proven to strengthen children's math skills. Keywords: active learning design, early childhood, education, mathematics.
