Leaders are individuals who are accepted by others without having violence. A platoon commander who brings his members without fierceness and uses maturity and family members’ methods has made the members feel close to him because of his sense of responsibility. The purpose of this research is to know the role, the obstacle and the effort faced by a platoon commander to minimize the discipline offenses of the soldiers in battalion 405 / Surya Kusuma. The method used in this study is a qualitative method to describe the role of platoon commanders in 405 / Kusuma. Hence, environmental security problems associated with the battalion barrier are severely damaged. The efforts which was made by Pletoon Commanders include: increasing pletoon commanders’ persuasiveness in order to make the members subservient to the commands and instructions given, holding the Commander's Hour, conducting united mental coaching / mental coaching of command, increasing religious activities, inviting legal expertise, giving the members chances to follow educations, and also applying the reward and punishments system more firmly. Abstract

This research aims to contribute ideas to policy makers in managing the defense industry, especially through offset contracts for defense equipment procurement. Using a descriptive-qualitative analysis method, data is collected from secondary and primary sources, then analyzed qualitatively to draw conclusions regarding the management of the defense industry to improve the defense economy. The results show that the implementation of offset contracts requires a large initial investment and often exceeds the available budget, and faces the challenge of a technology gap between Indonesia's defense industry and developed countries. Sustainability of offset programs requires long-term maintenance of investments and technological capabilities. Case studies in Turkey, India, Brazil and France show success in increasing local defense industry capacity and reducing import dependency. In Indonesia, cooperation with France in MEF phase II 2015-2019 was effective in meeting TNI's defense equipment needs and technology transfer, although improvements in the sea and air defense sectors are still needed. With the right incentives, strategic partner selection, and human resource enhancement, the local defense industry can develop and reduce the technology gap.

Abstract

This study examines the development of the marketing communication within the video game industry following the COVID-19 pandemic through a systematic literature review, employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology. In response to the rapid digitalization triggered by COVID-19, companies have shifted how they engage with audiences by adopting new strategies such as social media, livestreaming, Esports, and narrative-building in online spaces. Academic studies have identified an expansion in the video game literature, however, notable gaps remain. By analyzing peer-reviewed literature from 2018 onward, this study identifies trends and discourses. Findings reveals that, although marketing strategies have changed, current academic discussions are fragmented and lack integration. Future studies should focus on distinguishing pre- and post-COVID-19 strategies to emphasize their relevance and develop comprehensive framework capable of analyzing the interdisciplinary nature of this field

Abstract

Abstract

This research explains the Economic Implications of Defense Supply Chain Vulnerability in Geopolitical Crises by using qualitative methods researchers collect data through triangulation (combined) data collection techniques, inductive data analysis, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization and researchers collect data through a literature study approach by conducting a thorough review of academic articles, websites related to supply chains and those related to defense economics, supply chain management, and geopolitical crises. In an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape, defense supply chain vulnerabilities have emerged as a critical challenge to national security and economic stability. Geopolitical crises, including the Ukraine-Russia conflict and rising Indo-Pacific tensions, reveal weaknesses such as delays in the delivery of military assets, shortages of advanced technologies and disruptions in the procurement of raw materials. These vulnerabilities lead to increased production costs, inflation and misallocation of resources, affecting not only the defense sector but also the broader economy that relies on interconnected industries. The study underscores the importance of integrating economic policies and defense strategies to improve supply chain resilience, emphasizing lessons from geopolitical crises and the need for international cooperation in securing critical materials.

Abstract

This study analyzes the maritime defense diplomacy strategy with the cultural approach of the Gunung Padang Site in dealing with problems in the North Natuna Sea. The cultural approach was chosen as the basis for the strategy to assert Indonesia's sovereignty over its maritime territory which is threatened by claims from other countries. With a focus on the Gunung Padang Site as a symbol of Indonesia's rich cultural heritage, this study explores the potential for cultural diplomacy in strengthening Indonesia's claim to the North Natuna Sea. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a literature study approach, collecting data from primary and secondary sources related to history, culture, and maritime diplomacy. The results of the analysis show that the integration of culture in maritime defense diplomacy provides a stronger and more convincing dimension in voicing Indonesia's national interests. The recommendations produced include strengthening cultural diplomacy, developing communication infrastructure and diplomatic capabilities, more intensive international collaboration, and increasing research and analysis on the relationship between culture and maritime interests. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide a positive contribution in efforts to maintain Indonesia's maritime sovereignty and security in the North Natuna Sea.
