Abstract

Penyelidikan tentang pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project yang diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan Problem Solving belum menjadi fokus perhatian dari penelitian sebelumnya dalam mengembangkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project dengan menggunakan pendekatan Problem Solving pada kemandirian belajar siswa sehingga dapat diketahui tingkat keefektifan model tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa sebagai populasi. Kami memilih dua kelas dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan didasarkan pada pertimbangan kemampuan siswa diasumsikan homogen. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project dengan pendekatan Problem Solving efektif terhadap kemandirian belajar. Akan tetapi, untuk kemandirian, pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project kurang memberikan dampak tanpa menggunakan pendekatan Problem Solving.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe (1) the effectiveness of Missouri Mathematics Project learning with problem solving approach on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students, (2) the effectiveness of Missouri Mathematics Project learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students, and (3) the differences of effectiveness of MMP-PS learning with MMP on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students. This research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of research. The effectiveness of MMP-PS and MMP learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills used one sample t test. The differences of effectiveness of MMP-PS learning with MMP on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students were analyzed using MANOVA. The results of the study indicate that MMP-PS learning is effective in independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students. MMP learning is ineffective on independent learning, but it is effective for mathematical communication skills. In addition, there are differences of effectiveness between MMP-PS and MMP learning on independent learning and students' mathematical communication skills. The results of further tests indicate that Missouri Mathematics Project learning with a problem solving approach is more effective than Missouri Mathematics Project learning on independent learning and mathematical communication skills of students.

Abstract

Microsoft interactive learning media Powerpoint In elementary schools, mathematics subjects still need to be the focus of teachers' attention as an effort to improve low learning outcomes, so this research aims to improve learning outcomes. fifth grade students through the application of interactive learning multimedia . The approach used is a qualitative approach using the type of classroom action research (CAR). The focus of this study is two, namely the focus of the process and the focus of the results. The subjects of this study were researchers and 13 fifth grade students consisting of 6 males and 7 females. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests, observations, video recordings and documentation . The data analysis used is descriptive data analysis by grouping data on Teacher Aspects and Student Aspects. This study consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings . The results of the study indicate that the qualification of the interactive learning process based on Microsoft Powerpoint in cycles I and II are getting better . Along with that, students' understanding ability also increases in cycles I and II. The conclusion of this study is that the process of implementing interactive multimedia makes the learning atmosphere active and enjoyable. The changes in the learning process that have been described are able to encourage increased student learning outcomes

Abstract

The problem faced by students in school is the lack of a thinking process that is able to link existing knowledge with problems that are rarely encountered before. The reflective thinking process is one of the important aspects in solving non-routine problems and can be viewed from students' mathematical abilities. Therefore, this study aims to describe the reflective thinking process of class XI IPA 1 students of SMAN 10 Makassar with high initial mathematical abilities in solving non-routine mathematical problems. This study is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The results obtained in this study are that students with three subjects with high initial mathematical abilities have a reflective thinking process in four problem-solving steps (polya) as follows (1) understanding the problem: (a) elaborative-creative thinking, (b) clarification-critical thinking, (c) critical-assessment thinking and (d) creative-laboratory thinking, all indicators are met by all subjects. (2) developing strategies: (a) inferential-critical thinking, (b) elaborative-creative thinking and (c) fluent-creative thinking, all indicators are met by all subjects except for the fluency indicator, there is one subject that does not meet it. (3) implementation strategy: (a) inferential-critical thinking is fulfilled by the subject, (b) flexible-creative thinking, only two subjects fulfill the indicators and (d) originality-creative thinking can only be fulfilled by one subject. (4) looking back: (a) elaborative-creative thinking and (b) critical thinking strategy, all indicators are fulfilled by the subject, but only one student checks the answer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas metode guided note taking (GNT) terhadap pembelajaran matematika materi aljabar di kelas VIII.7 pada peserta didik SMPN 12 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen tanpa adanya kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian menggunakan One Group Pretest and Posttest Design, dengan sampel sebanyak 32 peserta didik kelas VIII.7. Tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket respon peserta didik merupakan instrumen dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata tes hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan metode GNT dengan rata-rata nilai gain yaitu 0,69. Dari hasil tes tersebut diperoleh 29 peserta didik telah mencapai ketuntasan individu, ini berarti ketuntasan klasikal telah tercapai. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas peserta didik adalah 83,37% dan respon positif peserta didik terhadap penerapan metode GNT adalah 86,25%. Dari hasil penelitian, indikator keefektifan yakni hasil belajar, aktivitas, dan respon peserta didik telah tercapai. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode GNT efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas VIII SMPN 12 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memuat implementasi program merdeka belajar kampus merdeka yang masih memerlukan evaluasi sebagai bahan perbaikan terhadap kendala yang ditemukan pada pelaksanaannya sehingga penelitian ini memiliki tujuan penyelidikan pada pelaksanaan merdeka belajar kampus merdeka dari segi persepsi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika UNM. Pada penelitian digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner yang dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Sampel yang dipilih yaitu mahasiswa berjumlah 84 dari semester IV dan VI program studi pendidikan matematika yang telah dipilih dengan teknik purposive berdasarkan keikutsertaannya dalam program merdeka belajar kampus merdeka. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar angket tertutup yang terdiri dari 4 pilihan jawaban yaitu sangat sesuai, sesuai, tidak sesuai, dan sangat tidak sesuai. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini memuat temuan yaitu persepsi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika pada pelaksanaan program MBKM telah terlaksana dengan baik. Meskipun memiliki kendala, namun pada penerapannya masih terus dilakukan evaluasi terhadap perbaikan pelaksanaan program MBKM selanjutnya.

Abstract

Investigations of the independent learning-independent campus program still encounter obstacles in its implementation. This research is research that is motivated by the phenomenon of certain obstacles and problems faced by students when implementing independent learning-independent campus program in the mathematics department, FMIPA UNM, so it needs to be reviewed and carried out further analysis as material for further improvements. This research aims to explore student perceptions regarding the implementation of independent learning-independent campus program which is focused on the implementation of existing programs at independent learning-independent campus program which is implemented in the Mathematics Department of FMIPA UNM. This research is quantitative descriptive research using survey methods. The research was carried out at the Mathematics Education Study Program, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Makassar. The sample in this study were students in semester IV and semester VI from the FMIPA mathematics department who were selected purposively based on research interests and needs, namely students who took part in the independent learning-independent campus program. Data was analyzed descriptively to see students' perceptions of the implementation of the independent learning-independent campus program. Research finds that students majoring in mathematics at FMIPA UNM responded well to the MBKM program, it can be seen that the majority of students were interested in joining the program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of: (1) a description of the problem-solving abilities of class VIII students who are taught using the cooperative learning model type two stay two stray or numbered heads together on the Pythagorean theorem and circle material, (2) description of the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students who are taught using the cooperative learning model type two stay two stray or numbered heads together on the Pythagorean theorem and circle material, (3) the difference in mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII students who are taught using a two stay two stray cooperative learning model and those taught using a numbered heads together type cooperative model on the Teorema Phytagoras and Circle material, (4) differences mathematical communication skills of class VIII students who are taught using the cooperative learning model type two stay two stray with those taught using the cooperative model type numbered heads together on the Teorema Phytagoras and Circle material. This research is an experimental study with a quasi-experimental by factorial 2x2 design. The population in this study were all grade VIII students of the Enrekang Regency Junior High School with accreditation A consisting of 18 schools and the sample in this study was class VIII B SMP N 1 Baraka who was taught with the TSTS type cooperative learning model totaling 30 students and class VIII A SMP N 2 Anggeraja taught with the NHT type cooperative learning model totaling 30 students in the even semester of the 2019 school year. /2020, the determination of the sample is carried out using the cluster random sampling technique. The instruments in this study were (1) a test of problem-solving skills, (2) a test of mathematical communication skills, and (3) an observation sheet on the implementation of learning. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using manova. The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is no significant difference in the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who follow the two stay two stray type of cooperative learning model and those who follow the numbered heads together type of cooperative learning model both on the Teorema Phytagoras material and on the Circle material; (2) there is no significant difference in the mathematical communication ability of students who follow the two stay two stray type of cooperative learning model and those who follow the numbered heads together type of cooperative learning model both on the Teorema Phytagoras material and on the Circle material.

Abstract

This study is pre-experimental quantitative research involving one group, namely the experimental group. The population of the study were all grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Tompobulu in Gowa district, which consisted of 3 classes and the sample was determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The instruments of the study were (1) learning outcomes test, (2) student‟s activity observation sheets, and (3) student‟s response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The indicators of learning effectiveness in this study are (1) learning outcomes, (2) students‟ activities, (3) students‟ responses. If the three indicators meet the standards set, then the learning is categorized as effective. Based on descriptive and inferential statistical analysis using the t-test, it is discovered that (1) the learning outcomes achieved classical completeness, which is 87% above the ideal completeness; (2) the students‟ activities are in very good category, namely 3.5; (3) the students‟ responses are in good category, namely 3.27. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, it is obtained a significant value of p = 0.000 < α = 0.05, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely the use of discovery learning model involving local wisdom in Pythagorean Theorem material is effective. Therefore, the discovery learning model involving local wisdom is effectively applied to grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Tompobulu in Gowa Distirict.
