Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan tolak ukur kunci keberhasilan suatu bangsa, tanpa adanya pendidikan yang bermutu maka bisa dipastikan tidak adanya perkembangan yang signifikan yang akan terjadi, berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia salah satunya dengan mewajibkan mahasiswa untuk mengikuti kuliah kerja nyata (KKN). Artikel ini mengulas tentang upaya yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN terhadap respon peningkatan wawasan siswa SD Inpres 5/81 Padaidi melalui program kerja Maccule Magguru,. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif dan fokus pada sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, dan pendekatan dengan siswa melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas, ditemukan masih minimnya pengetahuan dan wawasan yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Dengan adanya program kerja Maccule Magguru yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Bone menghasilkan peningkatan wawasan siswa sebesar 60% dari pada sebelumnya.

Abstract

Indonesia, with more than 1,340 ethnic groups, has abundant cultural wealth, including various traditional dances. One that stands out from South Sulawesi is Paduppa Dance, a distinctive cultural expression of the Bugis people. Originally performed to welcome kings and grand guests at weddings, Paduppa Dance is now also performed in various events such as welcoming guests, circumcisions, and weddings. However, the threat of modernization and globalization risks threatening the preservation of this dance, highlighting the importance of preservation efforts to maintain this cultural heritage. This study aims to preserve Paduppa Dance through training conducted by Batch IV KKN students of Muhammadiyah Bone University in Sanrangeng Village. The method used was action research, with training conducted for three days a week from August 22 to September 4, 2024. The training involved 15 students from SDN 97 Sanrangeng and SD Inpres 6/80 Sanrangeng. The results of the training showed significant improvement in students' skills and understanding of Paduppa Dance. Before the training, students did not know the dance movements, adjustments to music, and cultural functions of Paduppa dance. After the training, students successfully mastered the dance movements, understood the meaning of the dance, and realized the importance of preserving traditional dance. The program proved effective in addressing threats to the preservation of Paduppa Dance and preparing students for various cultural events, as well as deepening their appreciation of Bugis cultural heritage

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of computer basics introduction activities in improving digital literacy of students at SD Inpres 12/79 Bonepute. The research method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, documentation, and limited observations of basic computer learning activities. Researchers used data analysis stages in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that basic computer introduction activities at SD Inpres 12/79 Bonepute were implemented through several programs, namely, 1) introduction to computer hardware and its functions, 2) introduction to basic software such as operating systems and Microsoft Word applications, 3) introduction to a brief history of computer development, and 4) direct practice of using computers for simple typing. The implementation of this program has a positive impact on improving students' technological skills, where they are starting to get used to using computers as a learning tool, have a basic understanding of the functions of computer devices, and show high enthusiasm in utilizing technology as part of learning activities.
