Abstract

This international community service was conducted at Muslimeen Suksa School, Hatyai, Thailand. This PKM was conducted with the aim of providing training with the theme of Mindfullness to increase students' self-confidence. The problem that often occurs is that to motivate students' self-confidence, there is no specific curriculum that supports it. Moreover, students equivalent to high school prioritize emotional souls that are sometimes not accompanied by positive thinking, which has an impact on suboptimal self-confidence. Age is one of the considerations, considering that high school age is an age that prioritizes spontaneity or what is desired. Sometimes ideals have not been described by them. The method of this activity is in the form of training by distributing pretest and posttest answers to show participants' understanding before and after the material is given about Mindfullness, which is expected to increase students' self-confidence with the method being training that takes almost 3 hours, which is attended by around 75 students and 5 teachers and 1 principal. The results obtained in the form of descriptive qualitative by explaining and describing the conditions of participants who participated in this activity happily and enthusiastically, considering that this was the first activity to be followed and carried out by higher education institutions from Indonesia. The end of this activity is closed with relaxation

Abstract

This community service activity aims to apply play activities as a coping strategy to increase happiness in students at Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Baru Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Play activities play an important role in supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. This program was carried out for one session with a duration of 90 minutes, involving 57 students aged 7–12 years. The methods used included creative games such as storytelling and singing, which were designed to create a fun atmosphere, train social skills, and provide space for free expression of emotions. The results of observations showed an increase in student happiness as indicated by active participation, cheerful expressions, and positive interactions between students during the activity. The results of interviews revealed positive impacts such as reduced emotional stress, increased self-confidence, and better learning motivation. Play activities have proven to be effective as a simple coping strategy that can be implemented in non-formal learning environments to support children's mental health and well-being. This program is expected to be a model for sustainable psychosocial interventions in similar communities.

Abstract

Blockchain technology has gained widespread adoption across various industries due to its decentralized and transparent nature. However, its inherent characteristics, such as immutability and openness, expose the system to critical security threats and privacy concerns. This study aims to develop a comprehensive framework to enhance blockchain security and privacy, addressing prevalent challenges such as data breaches, transaction anonymity, and resistance to cyberattacks. The proposed framework integrates advanced cryptographic techniques, including Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), Secure Multi Party Computation (SMPC), and enhanced encryption protocols, alongside innovative consensus mechanisms to improve system robustness. A simulation-based evaluation and a real-world case study were conducted to validate the framework. The results demonstrate significant improvements in mitigating security vulnerabilities, such as 51% attacks and double spending, while ensuring enhanced privacy through anonymized data handling and confidentiality-preserving transactions. Furthermore, the case study confirmed the framework's practicality and adaptability across diverse applications. These findings highlight the proposed framework's potential to establish a secure and privacy-preserving blockchain ecosystem, offering a solid foundation for future research and implementation in both public and private blockchain networks.

Abstract

Kampung Jawi, a cultural tourism destination in Semarang City, has experienced a significant decline in tourist visits due to stagnant digital promotion activities. The main problem lies in the absence of an integrative and empirically tested model that combines technology, community empowerment, and cultural reinforcement for Indonesian cultural tourism villages. This study aims to address this gap by formulating and testing the participatory SOME+ model, a modification of the original SOME framework (Share, Optimize, Manage, Engage) with the addition of TRAIN (capacity building) and SUSTAIN (sustainability). Using a mixed-methods exploratory sequential design (QUAL → quan), data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and social media content analysis. The findings highlight initial challenges such as low digital literacy and fragmented coordination. Nevertheless, a two-week pilot project increased social media engagement rates from 2.8% to 4.3% (a 52% rise) and enhanced community participation in content production from 25% to 41% (a 64% rise). The synthesis of these findings indicates that the SOME+ model effectively revitalizes the digital branding of cultural tourism villages. This research concludes that the participatory SOME+ model is a practical and replicable framework for strengthening community-based digital promotion and is recommended for adoption in rural tourism development policies.
