Abstract

Face fresheners used by the public today contain more high alcohol, so they are not suitable for dry facial skin types. The use of seaweed extract as a natural ingredient to make traditional facial fresheners for dry facial skin is a solution because of the content of bioactive compounds and carrageenan in seaweed very good for skin. This study aims to determine the most appropriate proportion of face freshener and the content of face freshener preparations in an analytical laboratory based on the results of phytochemical tests. This study used an experimental method with independent variables namely the proportion of seaweed extract and water butterfly pea with a ratio of 2 ml: 98 ml, 4 ml: 96 ml, 6 ml: 94 ml. The dependent variable is the finished face freshener including color, aroma, texture, absorption and preference of the panelists. The results of the phytochemical test on samples of seaweed extract, sea cucumber water and facial freshener samples showed positive results which proved that there were still bioactive compounds in them so that seaweed extracts were suitable as active ingredients for making facial fresheners where sample C had the highest average value in all aspects of the physical test and the panelists' preferences, namely the content of 6 ml of seaweed extract: 94 ml of butterfly pea flower wate Keywords: Butterfly pea flower; facial freshener; seaweed.

Abstract

Masker rambut digunakan sebagai perawatan rambut untuk memperbaiki, melembabkan, dan memberi nutrisi pada rambut. Daun kemangi dikenal mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang kaya akan antioksidan untuk menutrisi dan melindungi rambut dari kerusakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kelayakan masker rambut yang mengombinasikan daun kemangi dengan lidah buaya berdasarkan hasil uji organoleptik yang mencakup warna, aroma, tekstur, dan preferensi panelis terhadap masker rambut tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental, dengan variabel bebas berupa jumlah formula ekstrak daun kemangi dan lidah buaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi yang melibatkan 30 panelis. Selanjutnya, data tersebut dianalisis dengan uji ANOVA satu arah, yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan, menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 29. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil uji organoleptik terdapat kelayakan masker rambut daun kemangi dan lidah buaya dilihat dari indikator warna nilai tertinggi pada formula X2 5:5 dengan nilai rata rata (3.13). Indikator aroma nilai tertinggi pada formula X2 5:5 dengan nilai rata rata 3.43. Indikator tekstur nilai tertinggi pada formula X2 5:5 dengan nilai rata rata (3.37) dan hasil jadi masker yang paling disukai oleh panelis berdasarkan nilai rata rata tertinggi X2 (3.40) dinyatakan layak dan disukai oleh ahli dan panelis

Abstract

This research aims to determine 1) the history of Jungpara Padukan bridal makeup 2) the form and meaning of facial makeup 3) hair styling 4) clothing 5) accessories. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis in this study using source triangulation techniques. Research Results 1) The history of Jungpara Padukan bridal makeup comes from the old name of the Jepara area as makeup inspired by the geographical conditions, plantations and female figures of Jepara. 2) Orange red eyeshadow means courage, nanggal sepisan eyebrows mean positive, red chili lip color. Jungpara bridal makeup depicts elegance and courage. 3) hair styling the geger bulus bun is circular and means unity in family life. 4) The bride's attire includes a red velvet kebaya meaning courage with a yellow Jepara elung jarit (noble), red (courage), green (fertility) and orange (self-confidence). The groom's attire is sikepan meaning courage, a Jepara elung motif jarit and velvet pants meaning a cover for the genitals. 5) The head accessories used by the bride are; pilis meaning calm, oklo giri spiritual and the real world, oklo kluwung meaning water element of life, tusuk konde Queen Kalinyamat meaning courage, Jebahan, ronce melati and keket melati meaning of rights, obligations and responsibilities household life. Brooches in the form of rawis flowers three levels, first level means the courage of Queen Kalinyamat, the second level Queen Shima and the third level is a depiction of R.A Kartini. The groom's accessories include udheng enlightenment of thought patterns, clothing accessories include kerset necklace bond of relationship with God, tosan aji meaning strength and Selop meaning readiness.Keywords: make-up, form and meaning, Jepara, Jungpara
