Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian tentang Pengembangan Alat Penilaian Berbasis Kompetensi pada mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada kompetensi Pembuatan Tata Rias Fantasi berdasarkan sumber ide/ tema menggunakan alat penilaian portofolio dilaksanakan  dengan  tujuan (1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat penilaian berbasis portofolio dan (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio pada mata kuliah desain tata rias. Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa program studi S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias  Jurusan Pendidikan kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Teknik yang memprogram mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada semester genap 2015/2016. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan 4-D model, yaitu (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develope, dan (4) Determinate. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar  validasi perangkat pembelajaran mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada kompetensi Pembuatan Tata Rias Fantasi Berdasarkan Sumber Ide/ Tema dan lembar penilaian portofolio. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Alat penilaian portofolio pada mata kuliah desain Tata Rias Layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran Desain Tata Rias kompetensipembuatan desain tata rias fantasi berdasar sumber ide; (2) Hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias kompetensipembuatan desain tata rias fantasi berdasar sumber ide yang dinilai melalui portofolio yang telah dibuat oleh mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil yang baik.                                                                                                                 Kata Kunci: alat penilaian, hasil belajar, portofolio. ABSTRACTResearch on Development Tool Based Assessment of Competence in the subject of Design Makeup on competence Making Makeup Fantasy based sources of ideas / themes using a portfolio assessment carried out with the purpose of (1) to determine the feasibility of an assessment tool based on the portfolio and (2) to assess learning outcomes students' learning model portfolio based on the design of cosmetology courses. The study design using 4-D models, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develope, and (4) Determinate.The instrument used in this study is a validation sheet learning tools Makeup Design courses on competence Making Based Sources Fantasy Makeup Idea / Theme and portfolio assessment sheet. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of the use of the BeautyLearn platform in improving technical and managerial skills in beauty businesses. The research method used is a survey with data collection through questionnaires distributed to entrepreneurs and workers in the beauty sector. The results showed that BeautyLearn had a significant positive impact, with 80% of respondents reporting an improvement in technical skills in the areas of makeup, skincare, and haircuts, and 75% experiencing an improvement in managerial skills, such as digital marketing and financial management. In addition, 85% of respondents appreciated the platform's flexibility in providing learning materials that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. However, around 50% of respondents experienced technical problems, such as unstable internet connections and difficulties in understanding some technical materials. Abstract

The traditional bridal makeup of the Sasak tribe in Selong, East Lombok, faces challenges due to the shift towards modern styles, threatening its preservation. This study aims to examine the form and meaning of traditional bridal makeup, hair styling, attire, and accessories, as well as to describe the traditional wedding ceremony in 2024. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, employing interviews, observations, and documentation, with data validation through expert triangulation. The findings indicate that traditional bridal makeup for women includes yellowish foundation, vibrant eye and lip colors symbolizing majesty and bravery. Hair styling reflects status and cultural values, such as kepang siak and pangkak kedebong malang. Hair accessories include onggar-onggar (loyalty) and kembang kemiter (cheerfulness). Women's attire consists of baju Ludru (modesty) and songket fabric (life), with accessories like giwang and kalong ringgit symbolizing fertility and unity. The groom wears kelambi pegon (masculinity) and sapu’ or udeng (steadfastness). The wedding processions include Semitra (relationship initiation), Merariq (proposal), Selabar (announcement), Sorong-Serah (handover), Ijab Kabul (ceremony), Nyongkolan (reception), and Bales Lampaq (social gathering).Keywords: bridal makeup, selong, wedding ceremony process.

Abstract

This research aims to determine 1) the history of Jungpara Padukan bridal makeup 2) the form and meaning of facial makeup 3) hair styling 4) clothing 5) accessories. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis in this study using source triangulation techniques. Research Results 1) The history of Jungpara Padukan bridal makeup comes from the old name of the Jepara area as makeup inspired by the geographical conditions, plantations and female figures of Jepara. 2) Orange red eyeshadow means courage, nanggal sepisan eyebrows mean positive, red chili lip color. Jungpara bridal makeup depicts elegance and courage. 3) hair styling the geger bulus bun is circular and means unity in family life. 4) The bride's attire includes a red velvet kebaya meaning courage with a yellow Jepara elung jarit (noble), red (courage), green (fertility) and orange (self-confidence). The groom's attire is sikepan meaning courage, a Jepara elung motif jarit and velvet pants meaning a cover for the genitals. 5) The head accessories used by the bride are; pilis meaning calm, oklo giri spiritual and the real world, oklo kluwung meaning water element of life, tusuk konde Queen Kalinyamat meaning courage, Jebahan, ronce melati and keket melati meaning of rights, obligations and responsibilities household life. Brooches in the form of rawis flowers three levels, first level means the courage of Queen Kalinyamat, the second level Queen Shima and the third level is a depiction of R.A Kartini. Abstract

Contextual, Teaching, and Learning is a learning design that connects knowledge from subjects with daily life to practice solving problems. This study aims to determine 1) the implementation of contextual, teaching, and learning syntax, 2) improvement of student’s learning outcomes of manual acne facial treatment, 3) student responses to the contextual, teaching, and learning design. It was a pre-experimental research and use pretest-posttest group design. The research subjects were students of class XI-Beauty Therapy at SMKN 1 Buduran which was carried out in 2 meetings. Data collection methode include observation results, cognitive and psychomotor learning test results, and questionnaires. The results of this research show 1) The syntax of contextual, teaching, and learning was implemented with percentage of 93.8% in the first meeting and 98.3% in the second meeting and it is in the outstanding category means the syntax is implemented well, 2) With paired t-tests on pre-test and post-test The significance value obtained (2-tailed) is 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05, which indicates that the contextual learning model has a significant difference in increasing learning outcomes in the average pre-test to post-test scores, namely from 67.3% to 89.6%. The percentage of student success rate on the psychomotor test is 100%. 3) Student responses to the application of the contextual, teaching, and learning design are shown by a percentage score of 83.3% which mean it is also in outstanding category. Based on the research results, contextual, teaching, and learning syntax was implemented and there was an improvement in student learning outcomes using the contextual learning model at both the first and second meetings with very good responses.

Abstract

One of the ways in which teaching objectives have been achieved can be seen from the learning achievements achieved by students. Project Based Learning is an innovative, project-based, student-centered learning model. Critical thinking. Acne facial treatment is an action that is deliberately carried out for skin that has facial skin problems, including acne, oily facial skin, hyperpigmentation, and blackheads. This research aims to 1) the implementation of the learning model, 2) student learning outcomes, 3) students' ability to think critically, 4) student responses, with reference to data collection instruments 1) syntax implementation observation sheet, 2) student performance sheet, 3) critical thinking assessment sheet, 4) student response questionnaire sheet. The research used by researchers is a pre-experimental design research method using a one-shot case study research model using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 29 grade 12 skin and hair beauty students who had received facial care material. The research results showed that 1) the implementation of learning syntax obtained an average of all aspects, namely 90% in the "very good" category, 2) the students' Psychomotor learning outcomes obtained an average of 82% and were categorized as "very competent", 3) the results of learning to think critical students obtained an overall average of 85% in the "very high" category, 4) student response questionnaires obtained an average of 82% in the "very good" category. Abstract

Obstacles that occur during the learning process can impact learning outcomes. Therefore, choosing the right media can facilitate and motivate students in learning. The selection of animation video-based media can boost students' enthusiasm for learning because its varied displays can capture students' attention. The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of animation video-based learning media, how animation video media affects students' learning outcomes, and how students respond to the use of this media. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the research subjects being 31 students from class XI TKKR. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and questionnaires. The results are as follows: The quality of the feasibility of the animation video-based learning media received an average score of 92%, categorized as "very good." The psychomotor learning outcomes (practical) of the class XI TKKR students averaged 83.8, with 100% mastery, compared to the average KKTP score obtained from previous lessons using PowerPoint media and demonstrations, which scored 79. Students' responses received a score of 88%, categorized as "very good." Based on the research results, the development of animation video media for the topic of "ukel tekuk" hair bun is considered feasible for application in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for innovation in learning media that is in line with technological advancements to improve the quality of learning in vocational schools. The purpose of this study is to develop and design interactive learning media based on websites with the Google Sites platform, specifically for the subject of hand care and nail coloring (manicure). Field observations found at SMKN 1 Lamongan, the use of technology in the learning process, especially in learning media, is still very suboptimal, and there is no learning media that supports students' learning styles. Specifically, the main purpose of this study is as follows: 1) to review the feasibility of Google Sites website-based learning media, 2) to measure student learning outcomes, and 3) to determine students' responses to the learning media. The research method used is R&D with the ASSURE development model. The research subjects consisted of 26 students from the XII TKKR class. Data were collected through expert validation, cognitive tests (pre-test and post-test), psychomotor tests, and student response questionnaires. The validation results of the media feasibility showed an average score of 4.41 (88%) with the category "Very Feasible". Student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect showed a significant increase, with pre-test scores of 61.35 and post-test scores of 86.35. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a Z value of -4.470 with an Asymp. Significance (2-tailed) of 0.000, which can be concluded that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. Based on these results, the null hypothesis (H0) stating that there is no significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores is rejected, while H1 is accepted. The results of student responses showed a positive response with an average score of 4.56 (91%) in the "Very Good" category. Thus, this study can be declared successful in improving the quality and quality of learning in the subject of hand care and nail coloring.

Abstract

Perfect makeup results are the main focus of this research, especially in international bridal makeup, so choosing the right cosmetics is very important, especially for combination facial skin, so that the makeup sticks perfectly and lasts long. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of using face oil on international bridal makeup on combination facial skin, 2) the effect of using moisturizer on international bridal makeup on combination facial skin, and 3) the difference in the results of international bridal makeup using face oil and moisturizer on combination facial skin. The research method used was experimental, with face oil and moisturizer as independent variables, and makeup results as the dependent variable. The results showed that the use of face oil produced an average of 3.52, classified as very good, while the use of moisturizer produced an average of 3.11, classified as good. The t-test showed a calculated t value of 3.647 with 58 degrees of freedom and a significant value of 0.001. Because 0.001 < 0.05, it can be concluded that in this study there is a significant difference between the use of face oil and moisturizer on the results of international bridal makeup on combination facial skin. Abstract

Canva-based interactive learning multimedia (MPI) as a learning medium can create learning that is not repetitive, and students will not feel bored during the learning process. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The data collection methods used were observation, questionnaires, and tests of cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes. The results showed that (1) The overall average score of media suitability level reviewed from media, material and language was 4.64 points, and the standard was "very feasible"; (2) Statistical analysis of cognitive learning outcomes shows that the learning outcomes of the initial test and the final test have significantly improved with the results of Asymp. Sig. (2 tailed) is 0.000, then the value of sig. < 0.05 indicates acceptance of the hypothesis, while the average psychomotor learning outcomes of 86 > KKTP 80 show completeness overall. (3) The results of the analysis of student responses showed the "very good" category with a percentage of 98%. The results show that Canva-based MPI is excellent for use in learning activities to improve academic achievement and improve student responses to teaching.
