Abstract

This research aims to determine students' processes and perceptions of Arabic learning skills using the role-playing method. The population in this study was 18 grade 10th students at MAS Mamba'ul Ulum Jambi. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher analyzed the data using triangulation techniques. The process is a teacher appoints 2 or 3 students to a group, divides the roles, and instructs other students to pay attention. The advantages are: a) students enjoy learning using the role-playing method, b) students easy to memorize vocabulary, and c) there is an increase in students' Arabic-speaking learning outcomes with a score of 62.77 increasing to 84.72 after learning using the role-playing method. However, the researcher also finds a drawback, namely that it takes a long time to implement and disturbs other classes because the class becomes noisier.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pelatihan penggunaan ChatGPT sebagai asisten pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang menekankan pada keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam proses pelatihan penggunaan ChatGPT sebagai asisten pembelajaran. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yakni (1) Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ChatGPT berperan sebagai platform pembelajaran yang inovatif bagi mahasiswa, khususnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi, keterampilan berpikir kritis, serta efektivitas dalam penyelesaian tugas akademik. Penggunaan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran memberikan manfaat signifikan, seperti akses cepat terhadap informasi, umpan balik instan, serta peluang interaksi berbasis AI yang membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep secara lebih mendalam (2) Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan penggunaan ChatGPT sebagai asisten pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi belajar. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan mampu memahami berbagai fitur ChatGPT dan menggunakannya untuk mendukung proses akademik, seperti mencari referensi, menyusun tulisan, serta memahami materi perkuliahan dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

AbstrackBullying behavior is currently very common in the school environment. Therefore, schools as a place for students to learn and pursue education have become an environment that is no longer conducive to supporting the learning process. Therefore, this research aims to see the importance of the role of teachers as guides and educators in overcoming bullying behavior that occurs in the classroom. This research is aqualitative descriptive research. The instruments used were observation sheets, interviews and reflections. The conclusion obtained from this research is that teachers as mentors are very important in anticipating and overcoming bullying behavior because teachers act as role models as well as individuals who have authority in the classroom. As a mentor, teacher pay attention to things that can be done, namely giving advice, instilling character education, as well as modeling in the form of active action, namely providing motivation and modeling friendly and polite interaction patterns. The results of the research show that creating a classroom atmosphere that has good communication quality has an impact on reducing bullying behavior in the school and classroom environment. Keywords: Teacher's Role; Anticipating Bullying.
