Abstract

Momasoro is a boat release, a ritual of the Lauje tribe that is carried out at the end of each year as a form of gratitude to the Creator who provides fertility for the crops and life for plants and animals. Momasoro is a means of treatment that is believed by the Lauje tribe. The results of the study indicate that the meaning of the nonverbal message contained in the Momasoro traditional ceremony procession of the Lauje Tribe is based on several aspects. Kinesics are seen from the movements and facial expressions of officers in the Momasoro traditional ceremony procession during the process of circling the boat while mogumbuy and when dancing Meaju to deliver the boat on the beach. Paralinguistics are seen from the mongganoy process (reading prayers using rhythm) accompanied by sinta, gong and dotolan musical instruments performed by one of the traditional elders in Ogoansam Village. Artifacts are seen from the equipment that has been provided by the traditional elders and the Lauje Tribe community in Palasa District.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Tawaeli pada materi teorema Pythagoras. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 16 Tawaeli, yang berjumlah 33 siswa dan dipilih 3 sebagai informan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Penemuan Terbimbing dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 16 Tawaeli pada materi teorema Pythagoras, dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) stimulasi yaitu peneliti memberikan stimulus kepada siswa berupa masalah mengenai langkah-langkah menemukan konsep teorema Pythagoras; 2) perumusan masalah yaitu peneliti meminta siswa untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang terdapat pada LKS bagian A yaitu langkah-langkah menemukan konsep teorema Pythagoras; 3) pengumpulan data yaitu peneliti meminta siswa untuk mengikuti langkah-langkah yang terdapat pada LKS yaitu dengan menempelkan sisi c segitiga pada sisi c persegi, sehingga membentuk bangun datar baru; 4) pemrosesan data yaitu peneliti membimbing siswa untuk menggunakan data yang mereka peroleh dari percobaan menempelkan sisi segitiga pada sisi persegi untuk menemukan konsep teorema Pythagoras; 5) verifikasi yaitu peneliti memberikan tugas tambahan kepada siswa untuk membuktikan konsep teorema Pythagoras yang telah siswa peroleh dan untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa mengenai materi tersebut; 6) generalisasi yaitu peneliti mengarahkan seluruh siswa untuk membuat kesimpulan mengenai materi teorema Pythagoras yang telah mereka pelajari. Kata kunci: Penemuan terbimbing, prestasi belajar, teorema Pythagoras Abstrak: This study aims to obtain a description of the implementation of guided discovery learning model to improve learning achievement students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 16 Tawaeli on the material Pythagoras theorem. The subjects of this study were students of class VIIIA High School 16 Tawaeli, which amounted to 33 students and selected 3 as informants. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAS) which refers to the design research of Kemmis and Mc.Taggart that including are (1) planning, (2) implementation of action and observation and (3) reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of guided discovery learning can improve student learning achievement of class VIIIA High School 16 Tawaeli on Pythagoras theorem, by following the foot steps as follows: 1) stimulation where the researcher gives a stimulus to students in the form of a problem that is how to find the concept of the Pythagoras theorem; 2) formulation of the problem where the researcher asks students to identify found the problems in LKS section A, namely how to find the Pythagoras theorem concept; 3) data collection where the researcher asks students to follow the steps contained in the LKS that is by attaching side c of the triangle on the side c of the square, so that it forms e new build; 4) data processing where the researcher guided students to use the data they obtain from experiments attaching the sides of triangle to the sides of square to find Pythagoras theorem concept; 5) verify where the researcher gives additional assignments to student to process Pythagoras theorem concept have obtained and to measure students understanding of the material.; 6) generalization where the researcher directs all students to draw conclusions about the material of the Pythagoras theorem they have learned. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh permainan lari estafet modifikasi dalam pendidikan jasmani adaptif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar peserta didik tunanetra di SLB Negeri A Pajajaran Kota Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan yaitu desain A-B-A. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap seorang peserta didik berinisial I kelas IV di SLBN A Pajajaran Kota Bandung. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes kinerja yang mengacu pada instrumen kemampuan motorik kasar sebelum, saat dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Terdapat tiga fase dalam pengumpulan data, pertama baseline-1, kedua intervensi, dan ketiga baseline-2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar yang cukup signifikan, hal ini ditunjukan berdasarkan hasil mean level pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) sebesar 40%, intervensi (B) sebesar 72,85% dan baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 80%. Pengaruh juga dapat dilihat dari persentase overlap. Persentase overlap antar kondisi baseline 1 dan fase intervensi maupun fase intervensi ke baseline 2 yaitu 0, yang artinya semakin kecil persentase overlap maka semakin baik pengaruh intervensinya. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan lari estafet modifikasi dalam penjas adaptif berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar pada peserta didik tunanetra di SLBN A Pajajaran Kota Bandung. Dengan demikian, peneliti merekomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar peserta didik tunanetra, pendidik dapat menggunakan permainan lari estafet modifikasi dalam pembelajaran kemampuan motorik kasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop web-based learning media in the form of e-learning on the topic of algebra to improve junior high school students' problem solving ability. This research uses a mixed method with the ADDIE development approach as well as an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research was conducted at MTs involving 20 students as samples. The results of the validation show that this learning media is valid, with a validation score from media experts of 92% and from material experts of 88%. The field test showed that the average student response was 71.7%, which was categorized as “good”. N-gain analysis showed an increase in students' ability to solve problems with an average score of 0.6724, indicating significant effectiveness. This research implies that web-based learning media can be an innovative solution to overcome challenges in learning mathematics in junior high school, especially on algebra topics that are often considered difficult. This media is able to motivate students, improve understanding, and provide flexible and interactive learning alternatives. However, further research is needed with a larger sample size to ensure the results can be generalized

Abstract

Mathematics is a fundamental discipline that plays an important role in developing students' logical, analytical, and systematic thinking skills. However, many students still struggle with solving non-routine mathematical problems due to a reliance on memorization and teacher-centered learning. This study aims to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, especially in probability, through the implementation of Polya’s problem-solving steps assisted by Lumio interactive media. This classroom action research employed the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted over two cycles. The research subjects were 12 eighth-grade students from SMP Muhammadiyah Kwandang. Data were collected through tests and observation sheets, then analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The instruments included essay tests based on probability story problems and validated observation sheets for teacher and student activities. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills. The average score increased from 70.05% in the first cycle to 83.59% in the second cycle. The proportion of students achieving mastery also rose from 33% to 91.7%. Learning activities became more interactive and student-centered. It is concluded that integrating Polya’s strategy and Lumio media is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving skills and active learning engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambagan tentang strategi hubungan masyarakat dengan sekolah dalam program rumah literasi di jorong koto kecamatan tabek patah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini anak- anak yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat dan toko masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa strategi yang dibuat dalam menjalanin hubungan masyrakat dengan sekolah dengan membuat program rumah literasi di lingkungan masyarkaat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikn dan mempersiapkan anak-anak usia belajar dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia saat sekarang ini. Sebagai pusat sumber belajar, program Rumah Literasi ini kami laksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan edukatif lainnya yang terdiri dari fun learning, bimbingan belajar Malingping, learning motivation, dan semarak anak sholeh. Rumah literasi ini sebagai jembatan antara masyarakat dan sekolah, meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak di lingkungan masyarakat. Keberadaan rumah literasi juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya dukungan dari pemerintah dan lembaga pendidikan, rumah literasi dapat menjadi tempat berkumpul yang mempererat hubungan sosial antarwarga. Dalam jangka panjang, program ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih terdidik dan berdaya saing tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Surah Yunus verse 5 from the perspective of mathematics and modern science, highlighting the order of the sun and moon as a time-measuring system. This verse explains the astronomical role of these celestial bodies, which serve as the foundation for lunar and solar calendar systems in human civilization. Using a qualitative approach, this research integrates tafsir analysis, literature review, and philosophical reflection to interpret the cosmic order established by Allah. The findings indicate that the verse aligns with modern scientific principles, including the laws of gravity and orbital cycles, demonstrating a systematic structure in the universe. This order not only serves as evidence of Allah's greatness but also teaches the importance of time consciousness as a divine blessing that must be utilized wisely. Furthermore, the study affirms that the integration of science and spirituality in the Qur’an contributes to scientific and educational advancements. Thus, this research reinforces the Qur’an’s relevance as a timeless source of knowledge that continues to inspire both scientific understanding and spiritual life.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the strategic position of Indonesia in South China Sea (SCS) towards the military partnership of Indonesia and China from 2010-2015. The aim of this research is to analyze how the strategic position of Indonesia influences the military relationship between Indonesia and China. The South China Sea is one of the most strategic and influential regions; it has the capability to threaten the stability of Southeast Asia. Indonesia as one of the most significant countries in ASEAN geographically, has a strategic but conflicted position. This research will analyze how the strategic position of Indonesia in the SCS influences their military partnership with China. This research formulates questions as to how the Indonesian strategic position in the South China Sea influences the China-Indonesia military relationship in 2010-2015? This article a neo-realist theory, a national security concept and a geo-strategic concept to accomplish this. It also uses a qualitative method of analysis through research papers and holding interviews. Through the three concepts and school of thought, this research has found that there is an influence on the strategic position of Indonesia in the militaristic relationship between Indonesia and China. The strategic location of Indonesia in the South China Sea and the significant role Indonesia plays in ASEAN can positively affect the relationship between Indonesia and China.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using PowerPoint media in enhancing the geometric thinking skills of 6th-grade students, particularly in understanding the concepts of area, perimeter, and volume of solid figures. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest design) at MI Nazhatut Tholibin, Probolinggo Regency. The research subjects consist of 20 students divided into two groups: the experimental group using PowerPoint and the control group using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that the use of PowerPoint significantly improved the students' learning outcomes. Statistical tests indicate that the data is normally distributed and the variance between groups is homogeneous. The Independent Sample t-Test results show a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The posttest average score of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group, indicating the effectiveness of PowerPoint in helping students understand geometry. This study concludes that PowerPoint can be an effective alternative in mathematics learning, particularly in solid figures.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the techniques and strategies used by classroom teachers to handle problem students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Sidowungu. This qualitative research utilized data collection methods including classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and document analysis. The findings indicate that teachers employ various effective techniques, including personal approaches, reward and punishment systems, and adjustments in teaching methods. Positive approaches emphasizing rewards and active collaboration with parents have proven significant in reducing problematic behaviors. Social-emotional skills training also plays a crucial role in supporting students' emotional management and social interactions. However, there are hindering factors such as limited resources, lack of parental support, and students' mental health issues that affect the effectiveness of the applied strategies. Supporting factors, such as school management support and available programs, positively contribute to the success of handling techniques. This research provides insights into best practices for managing problem students and is expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions to enhance classroom management and support students' optimal development.
