Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges, opportunities, and impacts of implementing Qur'an learning at the Putri Ummahatul Mukminin Islamic Boarding School in Timika, Papua, for native Papuan children. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the main obstacles include difficulties in understanding Arabic due to the students’ diverse local language backgrounds, a shortage of qualified Qur'an teachers, and inadequate learning facilities. On the other hand, there are significant opportunities in utilizing mobile-based Qur'an applications and applying contextual learning approaches that incorporate Papua’s local culture into the teaching process. Qur'an learning has positively contributed to students' character development, particularly in fostering discipline, responsibility, and empathy. This research recommends intensive training for teachers, the enhancement of learning facilities, and broader use of culturally relevant educational technology.

Abstract

Kitab Kaifa Tuwajihul Fitan Syaikh Shalih bin Thoha Abdul Wahid menawarkan solusi untuk masalah pendidikan Islam, dan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan akar masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemikiran penulis kitab tentang masalah dan solusi pendidikan dalam menghadapi fitnah zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis dan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyimpangan aqidah, pemahaman yang buruk tentang manhaj Islam yang benar, dan dominasi orientasi duniawi dalam sistem pendidikan adalah masalah utama dalam pendidikan Islam. Penekanan pada pendidikan akhirat, penguatan ilmu syar'i, dan pemurnian tauhid adalah beberapa solusi yang ditawarkan oleh Syaikh Sholih. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan memberikan bantuan ilmiah dan praktis dalam membangun sistem pendidikan Islam yang sesuai dengan aturan agama.

Abstract

Di Kabupaten Pinrang, khususnya di SDIT Al-Insan, metode Wafa mulai diimplementasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran Al-Qur'an untuk mengatasi rendahnya motivasi belajar dan kesulitan penguasaan tajwid pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan, keunggulan, dan persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan metode Wafa dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Wafa di SDIT Al-Insan telah berjalan dengan baik dan konsisten, diterapkan oleh seluruh guru, meskipun sebagian guru baru masih mengalami keterbatasan kompetensi. Keunggulan metode ini terletak pada kemudahan dalam membaca, menghafal, dan memahami Al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan inovatif dan pendampingan terstruktur. Selain itu, metode Wafa dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan, seperti lagu, gerakan, dan media visual yang mengoptimalkan fungsi otak kanan. Materi yang tersusun sistematis juga mempermudah tahapan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, metode Wafa berkontribusi positif dalam pencapaian target pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di SDIT Al-Insan Kabupaten Pinrang. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and teaching skills on teacher performance at SDN 44 Amban, Manokwari, West Papua. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 20 teachers as samples. Data analysis techniques used include the T test to determine the effect of each variable partially and the F test to see the effect simultaneously. The results of the T test show that work motivation (X1) has a significance value of 0.018 and teaching skills (X2) of 0.001, both of which are smaller than the significance level of 0.05. The t-count value for work motivation is 2.612 and teaching skills is 3.823, greater than the t-table value of 2.10982. This shows that both variables have a significant positive effect on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the results of the F test show a significance value of 0.000 and an F-count of 12.508, which is greater than the F-table of 3.59, indicating that work motivation and teaching skills together have a significant effect on teacher performance. Thus, it can be concluded that both work motivation and teaching skills contribute significantly to improving teacher performance, and both support each other in creating a quality learning process

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of interactive digital image media to enhance interfaith tolerance in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at multicultural elementary schools. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from 15 fifth-grade students and one PAI teacher at SD Negeri Pulau Tembang. Findings revealed significant improvements in students’ understanding of tolerance and their attitudes toward religious diversity after eight sessions using interactive visuals (e.g., infographics, quizzes). The media fostered engagement, inclusive behavior, and reflective discussions. The study underscores the effectiveness of interactive digital tools in promoting tolerance and suggests their integration into PAI curricula. Limitations include the single-site design, warranting further research with broader samples.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of animated video media in Akidah Akhlak learning and its effect on enhancing students’ interest and creativity at MTs Arrohmah. The research responds to the growing demand for engaging, relevant digital media in the modern classroom to improve instructional quality and foster moral character. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected from students and teachers through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that animated videos improved students’ attention, enthusiasm, and independent learning, while stimulating creative thinking and idea generation. They also simplified the understanding of abstract Akidah Akhlak concepts and promoted interactive, dynamic classroom engagement. Unlike previous studies that predominantly applied animated media in science or language learning, this research uniquely focuses on its integration into Islamic moral education at the madrasah level. This approach contributes an innovative and practical framework for leveraging digital animation to boost interest and creativity in religious education, supporting more meaningful and enjoyable learning in the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Era globalisasi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pola pikir, perilaku, dan sistem nilai mahasiswa. Arus informasi yang sangat cepat melalui media digital seringkali mempengaruhi moralitas generasi muda, termasuk mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidik Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membangun ketahanan moral mahasiswa STAI Al-Gazali Bulukumba dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik PAI berperan dalam tiga fungsi utama yaitu: (1) sebagai pendidik dan pembimbing moral, (2) sebagai teladan, dan (3) sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran berbasis nilai Islami dan karakter. Strategi yang digunakan pendidik PAI meliputi penguatan akidah, internalisasi nilai keagamaan melalui pembelajaran, pembinaan spiritual, dan integrasi kurikulum berbasis karakter. Kendala yang ditemukan antara lain pengaruh budaya digital, kurangnya kontrol diri mahasiswa, dan minimnya lingkungan pendukung religius. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidik PAI memiliki peran strategis dalam memperkuat moralitas mahasiswa agar mampu menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dengan karakter Islami yang kuat. ABSTRACT Globalization has brought significant impact on the values, perspectives, and behavior of university students. Rapid access to information through digital platforms affects students’ moral attitudes and lifestyle choices. This research aims to examine the role of Islamic Education (PAI) lecturers in developing moral resilience among students at STAI Al-Gazali Bulukumba. This study applied a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that Islamic education lecturers have three strategic roles: (1) as moral educators and mentors, (2) as role models in Islamic values and behavior, and (3) as facilitators in value-based and character-oriented learning. Strategies used include strengthening aqidah, internalizing Islamic values through curriculum integration, spiritual guidance, and character-based evaluation. The challenges faced include digital cultural influence, weak self-control among students, and limited religious supporting environments. This research concludes that Islamic education lecturers play a crucial role in strengthening the moral resilience of students to face globalization based on Islamic values and character development.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya jumlah wirausahawan di Indonesia menunjukkan pentingnya penanaman jiwa kewirausahaan sejak usia dini sebagai bagian dari strategi pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang mandiri, kreatif, dan berkarakter. Pada jenjang sekolah dasar, pengembangan kewirausahaan belum terakomodasi dalam mata pelajaran khusus sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual yang memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa. Salah satu bentuk implementasi yang relevan adalah kegiatan market day, khususnya pada sekolah berbasis Islam yang menekankan internalisasi nilai-nilai kewirausahaan Islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program market day serta perannya dalam mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami siswa di SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek siswa kelas V dan VI, guru kelas, penanggung jawab program, serta orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber, metode, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program market day berperan signifikan dalam mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami siswa, yang tercermin pada nilai kejujuran (shidiq), tanggung jawab (amanah), kerja keras (mujahadah), dan keadilan (‘adl) dengan tingkat ketercapaian berada pada kategori baik dan persentase di atas 80%. Temuan ini diperkuat melalui penyajian grafik ketercapaian nilai karakter, tabel persentase indikator, serta dokumentasi kegiatan sebagai bukti empiris. Dengan demikian, market day terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis pengalaman dalam menanamkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami pada siswa sekolah dasar. ABSTRACT Indonesia’s abundant natural resources present significant potential for entrepreneurship development; however, the proportion of entrepreneurs remains relatively low, highlighting the importance of cultivating entrepreneurial character from an early age through education. This study focuses on analyzing the implementation of the market day program and its role in developing Islamic entrepreneurial character among elementary school students at SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with purposively selected subjects consisting of fifth- and sixth-grade students actively involved in market day activities, classroom teachers, program coordinators, and parents. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source, method, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that the market day program is implemented in a structured manner through four main stages: planning, production, selling, and evaluation. These stages effectively facilitate the internalization of Islamic entrepreneurial values, including honesty (shidiq), responsibility (amanah), hard work (mujahadah), and justice (‘adl). The results also show that sixth-grade students demonstrate higher levels of Islamic entrepreneurial character achievement compared to fifth-grade students, reflecting character reinforcement through sustained participation and experience. Overall, the study concludes that market day functions not only as a contextual economic learning activity but also as an effective experiential learning strategy for strengthening Islamic entrepreneurial character holistically at the elementary school level, thereby contributing both theoretically and practically to the development of character-based Islamic entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an pada anak usia dini memerlukan model pembelajaran yang dirancang sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak, terutama pada aspek kognitif, bahasa, dan sosial-emosional. Anak usia dini memiliki kemampuan menghafal yang baik apabila proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara bertahap, berulang, dan menyenangkan. Pendekatan talqin merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang relevan dalam pembelajaran tahfidz karena menekankan pada proses mendengarkan, menirukan, dan mengulang bacaan secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran tahfidz Juz 30 berbasis pendekatan talqin bagi anak usia dini di TK Izzatul Ummah Grobogan serta menganalisis tingkat kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas model yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran, perancangan model pembelajaran, validasi ahli materi dan ahli pembelajaran, uji coba terbatas, serta revisi produk berdasarkan hasil uji coba. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia dini kelompok B di TK Izzatul Ummah Grobogan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran tahfidz Juz 30 berbasis pendekatan talqin dinyatakan layak oleh para ahli, praktis digunakan oleh guru, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan hafalan surat-surat Juz 30 pada anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. ABSTRACT Tahfidz learning for early childhood requires an instructional model that is designed in accordance with children’s developmental characteristics, particularly in cognitive, language, and socio-emotional aspects. Early childhood learners tend to have strong memorization abilities when learning activities are conducted gradually, repeatedly, and in an enjoyable manner. The talqin approach is considered relevant in tahfidz learning as it emphasizes listening, imitation, and consistent repetition of Qur’anic recitation. This study aims to develop a talqin-based tahfidz learning model for Juz 30 for early childhood students at TK Izzatul Ummah Grobogan and to analyze the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed model. This research employed a Research and Development method. The research stages included learning needs analysis, instructional model design, validation by material and instructional experts, limited trials, and product revision based on trial results. The research subjects were group B early childhood students at TK Izzatul Ummah Grobogan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results indicate that the talqin-based tahfidz learning model for Juz 30 is feasible according to expert judgment, practical for teachers to implement, and effective in improving early childhood students’ memorization of Juz 30 surahs. Therefore, the developed learning model can be used as an innovative alternative for tahfidz learning in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT At the elementary school level, learning to read the Qur’an serves as a fundamental foundation for instilling religious competence while shaping children’s character from an early age. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tilawati method in improving Qur’anic reading skills among first-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The participants included the head of the madrasah, a certified Tilawati teacher, first-grade students, and their parents. The findings indicate that the Tilawati method was implemented through classical instruction, individual practice, and continuous evaluation, emphasizing the principles of talaqqi musyafahah, the use of the rost melody, and habituation in reading with tartil. The implementation was supported by teacher competence, the availability of learning facilities, a religious school environment, and parental involvement in assisting learning at home. The identified challenges included variations in students’ initial abilities and limited instructional time. Overall, the implementation of the Tilawati method demonstrated positive results in enhancing students’ Qur’anic reading skills, particularly in fluency, accuracy of makhraj pronunciation, application of tajwid rules, and the cultivation of proper etiquette in recitation. This study contributes to the development of Qur’anic learning strategies that are contextually relevant, systematically structured, and aligned with the developmental characteristics of early childhood learners in formal educational settings. ABSTRAK Pada jenjang sekolah dasar, kegiatan belajar membaca Al-Qur’an menjadi landasan utama dalam menanamkan kemampuan religius sekaligus membentuk kepribadian anak sejak dini. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk menguraikan penerapan metode Tilawati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an pada siswa kelas I Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, serta telaah dokumentasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini mencakup kepala madrasah, guru Tilawati yang telah memiliki sertifikasi, siswa kelas I, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Tilawati diterapkan melalui tahapan pembelajaran klasikal, individual, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan dengan menekankan prinsip talaqqi musyafahah, penggunaan lagu rost, dan pembiasaan membaca tartil. Implementasi metode ini didukung oleh kompetensi guru, ketersediaan sarana pembelajaran, lingkungan madrasah yang religius, serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendampingan belajar di rumah. Kendala yang teridentifikasi dalam pelaksanaannya mencakup adanya variasi kemampuan awal antar siswa serta terbatasnya waktu yang tersedia untuk proses pembelajaran. Secara umum, penerapan metode Tilawati menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa, khususnya pada aspek kelancaran, ketepatan pengucapan makhraj, penerapan kaidah tajwid, serta pembinaan adab dalam membaca. Studi ini memberikan sumbangan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an yang relevan dengan konteks, tersusun secara terarah, serta selaras dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak usia dini di lingkungan pendidikan formal.
