Abstract

Recent developments show that it is not enough for management to ensure that the leadership management process is effective. In order for management to run well, a new tool is needed, namely Good Corporate Governance (GCG). This concept emphasizes two things, first, the importance of shareholders' rights to obtain accurate and timely information, and second, the company's obligation to publish all information regarding company performance accurately, timely and transparently. property and interested parties. The study aims to evaluate the extent to which the principles of good corporate governance (GCG) have been implemented in the Indonesian banking sector, both in conventional and Islamic banks. In this study, the type of research used is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The results of various national and international independent research institutions show that Indonesian business people do not understand the importance and strategic implementation of GCG principles. In addition, organizational culture also influences the implementation of GCG in Indonesia.

Abstract

This rapid progress is inseparable from the management of Human Resources (HR) owned by the company because human resources have an important role in achieving company goals, especially in this era of globalization, where there is tight competition. This study analyzes the influence of recruitment, placement, training, job design, and work ethics variables on employee performance. This study used total sampling for permanent employees because the overall object of research amounted to 42 employees. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed the positive influence of recruitment (b1=0.573), training (b3=0.309), and work ethics (b5=0.235), as well as the negative influence of placement (b2=-0.221) and job design (b4=-0.222) on employee performance. The partial hypothesis test showed the significance of the variables recruitment (t = 7.994), training (t = 3.155), and work ethics (t = 2.629), while placement (t = -2.463) and job design (t = -2.206) were not significant. Test F shows overall significance (F = 40.504, p <0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 84.9%, indicating that employee performance is jointly influenced by the variables studied. This research is expected to provide consideration and as policy material related to recruitment, placement, training, job design, and work ethics to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created new opportunities to improve agricultural marketing systems, particularly for smallholder farmers who often face limited market access and long supply chains dominated by intermediaries. This study investigated the influence of agricultural e-commerce on enhancing the income of smallholder farmers and developments in the supply chain in the Garut region of West Java. The present study collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data using a mixed-method approach, surveying 250 smallholder farmers who use e-commerce platforms. It was found from the results that the adoption of e-commerce significantly increased farmers' monthly income from an average of 2.85 million to 4.15 million rupiah. The structure of the supply chain has also altered, with a significant reduction in the number of intermediaries from 3-4 to 1-2 intermediaries. Conversely, farmers' shares of the final price of products in cases such as organic vegetables have increased by 78 percent. Regression analysis further verified that factors such as education level, digital literacy, and the reduction of intermediaries have contributed most to explaining income changes. Though the findings showed the relative success of these platforms, some major challenges were pinpointed, such as logistics costs at a score of 4.6 and limited digital literacy at a score of 4.2. This paper concludes that agricultural e-commerce development relies on simultaneous consideration of the three axes: logistics infrastructure development, enhancement of digital capability by farmers, and adjustment in cultivation patterns.
