Abstract

Perumahan Grand Permata Haruai RT 12 Kelurahan Alalak Utara Banjarmasin Utara adalah perumahan baru dimana letak perumahan ini yang lumayan jauh dari tempat pembuangan sampah akhir menyebabkan warga perumahan kesulitan dalam membuang sampah rumah tangga mereka. Selama ini sampah rumah tangga dibuang beberapa hari sekali sehingga kadang terjadi penumpukan sampah. Oleh karena itu Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan melakukan pelatihan pemilahan sampah rumah tangga dengan sasaran pelatihan adalah masyarakat di perumahan tersebur. Adapun target luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah peningkatan dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, peningkatan kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan serta publikasi pada jurnal ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen Jurusan Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin selama delapan bulan meliputi persiapan sebelum kegiatan hingga laporan akhir.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and analyze the concept of the value of education and religious moderation in Al-Baqarah verse 143 according to the interpretation of Ibn Katsir and the interpretation of Jalalain. Look for similarities and differences between the two. This research uses Syafrida’s method (2021) there are a comparative descriptive qualitative method with literature study, with data collection techniques namely through observation, library or literature study and documentation, and the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification. The results of this research are that the concept of educational values ​​and religious moderation in QS. Al-Baqarah verse 143 according to Jalalain's interpretation, including at-Tawassuth, al-I'tidal, at-Tasamuh, ash-Shura, al-Islah, al-Qudwah, al-Muwathanah, al-La 'Urf, al-I' tiraf bil Urf, a justice and development. As well as having similarities and differences, including, 1) National commitment can be instilled with multireligious and multicultural values, 2) Non-violence can be instilled through a gentle attitude, 3) An attitude of tolerance in QS. Al-Baqarah verse 143 provides an understanding of how to invite good and true Islam and 4) Acceptance of local traditions can be achieved through cultural acculturation such as activities that contain the values ​​of Islamic teachings in them.

Abstract

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) training at SDN 1 Perampuan, West Lombok, aims to improve the creativity, innovation and critical thinking skills of grade 4 students. Through an interactive and practical approach, this training involves students in experiments simple and collaborative projects, allowing them to integrate various disciplines. This activity will be carried out in September 2024 using observation, experimentation, collaborative projects and feedback-based evaluation methods. Initial observations are carried out to identify learning needs and challenges, followed by preparation of materials and tools. The training involved an introduction to basic STEAM concepts, simple experiments such as building a mini volcano, technology development through basic coding, and the integration of art and mathematics in bridge design. Each session features a collaborative project, where students work in groups to apply the knowledge they have gained. Evaluation is carried out through project presentations and providing feedback to improve and enhance student skills. The results of the training showed high student enthusiasm, as well as increased understanding of basic STEAM concepts. Final project evaluations provide constructive feedback, encouraging students to continue learning and applying STEAM concepts in everyday life. With the support of the STEAM guidebook, this training is expected to have a long-term impact on educational development in the West Lombok area, preparing students to face future challenges with the necessary 21st century skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to write announcement texts using the Project-based Learning (PjBL) learning model for grade X TITL students at SMKN 1 Lopok. This research was motivated by the low ability of students to write announcement texts that can affect school communication effectively. Therefore, the PjBL approach was chosen as a learning model that can provide an active, creative, and collaborative learning experience, so it is expected to improve students' ability to write announcement texts. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with two cycles. The study participants consisted of 30 grade X TITL students at SMKN 1 Lopok. Data were collected through an announcement text writing test before and after the application of the PjBL model, as well as participatory observation and interviews to obtain qualitative data on student responses to learning. The results showed a significant improvement in students' ability to write announcement texts after applying the PjBL model. The average students' writing test scores increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. In addition, student responses to learning using the PjBL model were generally positive, with students expressing a sense of enthusiasm and satisfaction in learning that was more practical and relevant to everyday life. The application of the Project-based Learning (PjBL) learning model is effective in improving students' ability to write announcement texts in class X TITL at SMKN 1 Lopok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the simulation method in project-based learning (PjBL) in the sixth grade of SDN 40 Mataram. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of classroom activities. The results indicate that the simulation method enhances student engagement, strengthens conceptual understanding, and fosters collaboration in project work. The teacher plays a vital role as a facilitator in designing simulation scenarios that align with the project themes. Challenges encountered include limited time and supporting facilities; however, these can be addressed through careful planning and optimal use of available resources. The study concludes that the simulation method is effective in supporting the success of project-based learning at the elementary level, particularly in improving 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji media pembelajaran berbasis Wordwall untuk meningkatkan literasi permulaan anak usia dini. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya ketercapaian literasi baca-tulis di PAUD akibat dominasi metode konvensional. Penelitian menggunakan desain Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE pada 15 anak kelompok B (usia 5–6 tahun) di salah satu TK Kabupaten Tegal. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli, angket kepraktisan guru, observasi, wawancara, serta rubrik tes literasi. Analisis menggunakan Aiken’s V untuk validitas isi, indeks kepraktisan, dan uji pra–pasca dengan N-Gain untuk efektivitas. Hasil menunjukkan media Wordwall valid, praktis digunakan, dan efektif meningkatkan pengenalan huruf, kosakata sederhana, serta membaca awal. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa adaptasi Wordwall berbasis prinsip belajar sambil bermain dapat menjadi solusi inovatif bagi guru PAUD dalam meningkatkan literasi permulaan anak.

Abstract

This research aims to determine human resource management in improving Islamic higher education. The method used is qualitative methodology with an analytical approach. The data is obtained based on facts, field realities, and not designed by researchers through research. The research concludes that the process of Islamic education management can provide improvement in Islamic higher education with religious values as its foundation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Apron Hitung yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung anak usia dini kelompok B (5–6 tahun). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek terdiri dari 13 anak dalam kelompok eksperimen dan 12 anak dalam kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, validasi ahli, dan angket guru, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan uji independen t-test. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor rata-rata 95,76% (kategori sangat valid), dan tanggapan guru menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut sangat praktis digunakan. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berhitung pada kelompok eksperimen (p = 0,000). Keunggulan media ini terletak pada integrasi angka dengan benda konkret seperti stik es krim, batu, dan pensil, yang menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan media edukatif inovatif yang mendukung pembelajaran numerasi di pendidikan anak usia dini.
