Abstract

Flooding is a condition in which water cannot be accommodated in the drain channel (river channel) or the flow of water in the drain channel is blocked, so that it overflows and inundates the surrounding area (flood plain). Mapping of flood distribution areas using remote sensing satellites and GIS can be done by combining flood phenomena and satellite capabilities. The purpose of this study is to identify the use of geographic information systems for mapping flood-prone areas in Kebumen district and identify flood-prone areas in Kebumen district. The research method is in the form of descriptive quantitative surveys and descriptions to determine the mapping of flood-prone areas in Kebumen district using overlay and scoring functions using ArcGIS 10.3 software. The results showed that spatial and non-spatial data processing was divided into three classes of flood-prone areas. The flood-prone area is 182 ha, the flood-prone area is 276 ha, and the non-prone area is 1.09 ha. Keywords: GIS, Floods, Mapping

Abstract

The importance of improving marketing performance in the automotive industry is needed in order to compete, along with technological developments, changing consumer trends, and environmental challenges. In line with technological developments and changes in consumer behavior, automotive companies need to continuously monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies. This research was conducted at PT. Dano Jaya plast Indonesia which is located at Jl. Science Timur 3 Blok B5B5, Jayamukti. Central Cikarang. Bekasi. West Java. The sample used in this study was 86 people with cluster sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using Smart PLS software version 3.0. The result of this study is that market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation have a positive and significant effect on marketing performance and specific marketing capabilities can mediate market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation to marketing performance

Abstract

This research investigated the relationships between Work Engagement, Transformational Leadership, and Employee Performance. The analysis revealed that Work Engagement did not have a direct statistically significant impact on Employee Performance. However, Transformational Leadership was found to have a strong and significant positive effect on Employee Performance. Moreover, when considering the combined influence of Work Engagement and Transformational Leadership, a significant relationship with Employee Performance was observed. These findings suggest that organizations should prioritize the development of transformational leadership skills to enhance performance outcomes. While Work Engagement is important for employee well-being, its direct impact on performance may be limited. The study highlights the need for organizations to cultivate a work environment that promotes employee engagement and effective leadership practices. Further research is necessary to explore additional factors that may influence employee performance. These conclusions provide valuable insights for organizations aiming to improve performance and create a positive work environment.

Abstract

Komponen otomotif adalah produk yang sangat mengutamakan kualitas appearance yang baik, sehingga jaminan kualitas harus selalu menjadi prioritas utama. PT XYZ merupakan salah satu Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) ternama di Indonesia yang memproduksi kendaraan penunpang roda empat. Namun, saat ini perusahaan tersebut masih menghadapi tingkat cacat yang sangat tinggi, terutama pada bagian assembly. Cacat yang paling sering terjadi pada bagian tersebut pada saat pemasangan seat belt, yaitu berupa cacat komponen yang kotor (dirty) dengan rata-rata sebesar 0.043 Defect Per Unit (DPU). Data tersebut diperoleh dari total cacat yang terjadi antara April hingga Agustus 2023. Angka tersebut sangat tinggi dan melebihi target yang ditetapkan perusahaan untuk setiap lini produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hingga memberikan solusi perbaikan agar cacat tersebut dapat diturunkan menggunakan pendekatan analisis Quality Control Circle (QCC). Setelah mengimplementasikan solusi perbaikan, maka defect dirty seat belt tersebut turun menjadi rata-rata sebesar 0.01 DPU pada bulan September 2023 hingga Januari 2024 atau mengalami penurunan hingga 53%.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) play a crucial role in achieving organizational goals. Employee engagement is expected to enhance performance by deepening the understanding and implementation of job functions. Both qualitative and quantitative employee performance are essential for a company's success, as they directly impact outcomes. At CV Mega Mendung Stell, declining employee performance has negatively affected profitability. Strong employee motivation is critical for maintaining a competitive edge, as engaged employees typically exhibit higher performance levels and stronger attachment to their work and company. Research shows that power distance within an organization—measuring the extent to which power differences are accepted and communicated—has a significant impact on employee performance. High power distance can lower motivation, while low power distance can place excessive pressure on employees. Effective work engagement can manage this balance, fostering an environment that promotes engagement and efficient decision-making, thereby improving overall organizational effectiveness. This study aims to explore the impact of employee engagement on performance at CV Mega Mendung Stell, providing insights to improve HR management and organizational performance. Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of social media marketing and e-service quality on the decision to choose Private Lesson "Be Smart Student" mediated by brand trust. The research uses quantitative method and data collection technique using g-form questionnaire for 314 respondents (parents) of students. The data analysis technique uses path analysis to determine the fit of the structural equation model with SmartPLS 4.1.0. The results conclude: Social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on choosing decisions; E- Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on choosing decisions; Brand trust has a positive and significant effect on choosing decisions; Social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand trust; E-Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on brand trust; Social media marketing has a positive and significant influence on choosing decisions mediated by brand trust; and E-Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on choosing decisions mediated by brand trust. The results have implications for efforts to improve marketing strategies through applying digital platforms to market institutional programs and learning processes.

Abstract

Rekrutmen adalah kegiatan menarik, menyaring dan memilih kumpulan calon (karyawan yang paling cocok dalam keterampilan, pengalaman dan kompetensi). Proses rekrutmen konvensional menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu dan biaya serta organisasi terbaik dalam mempekerjakan karyawan terbaik dengan biaya terendah. Hal tersebut menjadi sebuah keharusan dalam bersaing demi meraih keunggulan kompetitif di dunia industri. Seiring berjalannya waktu, proses rekrutmen sudah berubah dari metode konvensional menjadi metode dengan penerapan teknologi seperti melalui rekrutmen berbasis website, job street, dan social media. Aplikasi Sosial Media Linkedin adalah platform Media Sosial professional dengan 443 juta pengguna di sekitar 200 negara. Dengan menggunakan media social professional Linkedin sebagai alat untuk rekrutmen, para pencari kerja dan para perusahaan yang membutuhkan tenaga kerja akan dipermudah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara pencari kerja dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan perusahaan dalam rangka proses rekrutmen tenaga kerja. Pengumpulan data akan digunakan pada para pencari kerja di area Industri Jababeka dan akan disesuaikan dengan perusahaan yang ada di area Industri Jababeka . Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan hubungan signifikan bahwa variable Personal- organisasi, Personal-Kelompok, dan Variabel Personal-Pekerjaan dapat menghasilkan kinerja organisasi yang tinggi di area industry jababeka. Penerapan penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi solusi bagi para pencari kerja dan perusahaan di area industry dalam proses rekrutmen tenaga kerja, sehingga dapat terjadi efisiensi pada proses rekrutmen.

Abstract

The use of technology and the internet in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 has the potential to improve product marketing strategies. E-commerce, as a product sales platform, is currently becoming popular and widely used. The number of e-commerce users continues to grow because of the ease of getting the desired product. Low interest in repurchasing needs to be considered in management's perspective to improve strategic planning and company services. The researchers point out that repurchase intentions are a much-studied topic in the current era of globalization. For this reason, this research will examine the influence of brand reputation and service quality on repurchase interest on the Shopee e-commerce platform. Data processing using SmartPLS software. The results of the validity and reliability tests for the indicators used showed validity and reliability and the results of the classical assumption test showed no multicollinearity in the variables. The results of the hypothesis test partially show that brand reputation does not have a significant influence on repurchase interest, while service quality has a significant influence on repurchase interest.

Abstract

Employee recruitment is one of the crucial processes in human resource management that has a direct impact on the performance and success of the company. In the digital era, the use of Machine Learning (ML) in candidate selection processes is increasingly prevalent due to its ability to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. This research is important because conventional recruitment methods often face issues such as subjective bias, slow processing times, and limitations in assessing a candidate’s true potential. ML offers a more objective, data-driven, and faster approach, enabling companies to identify the best candidates more effectively. This study aims to identify the main features that influence recruitment decisions, as well as evaluate the effectiveness and interpretability of several ML models, namely Boruta, CatBoost, Lasso Regression, Logistic Regression, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE). This study uses a dataset consisting of 1,501 samples with 10 features and one class variable (0 = Not Hired, 1 = Hired). The evaluation is carried out based on the ability of each model to identify the features that make the most significant contribution to the classification results. This study has several limitations, particularly the potential bias in the data, such as demographic bias that may be reflected in historical recruitment decisions. This could lead the ML models to replicate or even reinforce such biases. Additionally, the limited dataset size may affect the models' ability to generalize to new data. In the context of this study, the main parameter used to assess the superiority of the model is the most dominant feature or the highest feature produced by each method. The test results show that the Boruta model identifies Gender as the most influential feature, while the CatBoost, Lasso Regression, Logistic Regression, and NLP models consistently place Recruitment Strategy as the most significant feature in predicting candidate eligibility. Meanwhile, the RFE model produces Distance from the Company as the highest feature that influences recruitment decisions. The uniqueness of this study lies in its approach that integrates feature interpretability models within the real-world context of recruitment decision-making. This approach not only emphasizes prediction accuracy but also promotes transparency and a clear understanding of the rationale behind each decision. It supports the development of a fairer and more accountable selection process, particularly by minimizing unconscious bias in data-driven recruitment systems. From a practical standpoint, the findings are highly relevant for human resource professionals, as the identified key features can be used to design more objective selection strategies and enhance the efficiency of candidate evaluations. Therefore, this study makes a tangible contribution to the advancement of modern, technology-based recruitment systems that prioritize fairness and decision-making efficiency. Additionally, the selection of evaluation metrics could be further elaborated to strengthen the analysis, for example by presenting the overall accuracy of each model or comparing them with alternative approaches to provide a more comprehensive view of the models' performance.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah memungkinkan bisnis untuk menggantikan proses manual, seperti pencatatan kehadiran karyawan, dengan sistem digital. Graha Digital Network, untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan kehadiran, telah mengimplementasikan sistem absensi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepuasan pengguna terhadap sistem tersebut dan mengidentifikasi elemen yang mempengaruhinya dengan menggunakan algoritma C4.5. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang mengukur fitur-fitur seperti kemudahan penggunaan, keandalan, dan dampaknya terhadap produktivitas kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa fitur nomor 3 memiliki nilai gain tertinggi, menunjukkan informasi paling signifikan dalam sistem absensi, sementara fitur nomor 8 memiliki pengaruh paling rendah. Pohon keputusan yang dihasilkan menggambarkan kontribusi masing-masing aspek terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa beberapa fitur sistem absensi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna, memberikan manajemen Graha Digital Network kesimpulan dan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan fitur tertentu dan mengoptimalkan sistem demi meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna dan produktivitas.
