Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transactional leadership and workload on turnover intention, with work engagement as a mediating variable among part-time workers in the coffeeshop industry in Pontianak City. Transactional leadership, which emphasizes a system of rewards and punishments, along with high workload, is presumed to influence employees’ emotional attachment to their jobs and subsequently affect their intention to leave. This research adopts a quantitative approach using the PLS-SEM method through SmartPLS 4.0 software, with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire. A total of 200 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that transactional leadership has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and a significant positive effect on work engagement. Workload has a significant positive effect on both work engagement and turnover intention. Furthermore, work engagement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and is proven to mediate the effects of transactional leadership and workload on turnover intention. These findings highlight the critical role of work engagement in reducing employees' desire to leave, even when faced with high workloads and a transactional leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of User Experience and Word of Mouth on Customer Satisfaction in the Oxygen.id Home service, one of the internet providers in Indonesia. In today’s digital era, the quality of internet service is measured not only by connection speed and stability but also by the user’s experience when interacting with the service. User Experience encompasses aspects such as ease of use, interface design, responsiveness, and emotional comfort during service usage. A well-designed User Experience can enhance positive perceptions of the service and lead to increased Customer Satisfaction. Customer Satisfaction plays a crucial role as a bridge between User Experience and Word of Mouth. Satisfied customers tend to be more willing to recommend the service to others, either directly or through social media. Word of Mouth serves as a trusted form of organic promotion and has a significant impact on attracting potential new customers. Therefore, Word of Mouth is not only an outcome of good service but also a part of an effective growth strategy in a competitive industry. This study employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys of active Oxygen.id Home users. The analysis results indicate a strong relationship between User Experience, Customer Satisfaction, and Word of Mouth, with Customer Satisfaction acting as a significant mediating variable. These findings emphasize the importance for service providers to continuously optimize User Experience in order to increase customer loyalty and expand market reach through the power of Word of Mouth.

Abstract

Abstract

This study will investigate organizational commitment as a mediating variable in Generation Z employees in Indonesia to improve understanding of the relationship between work motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction. This study examined a sample of 255 employees from Generation Z. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling method. Research information was collected using an online questionnaire distributed through Google Forms with a quantitative method. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach and SmartPLS 4 software were used for data analysis to assess and examine the relationship between variables in the proposed research model. According to the research findings, work motivation significantly increases organizational commitment, but does not have a statistically significant direct impact on job satisfaction. On the other hand, work discipline greatly affects organizational commitment and job satisfaction. In addition, organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction and acts as an important mediator between work motivation, discipline, and job satisfaction.
