Abstract

Saat ini, anak-anak mengenal hewan purbakala dinosaurus hanya melalui buku, gambar, dan kerangka di museum, sehingga mereka harus menggunakan imajinasi untuk membayangkan bentuk dinosaurus. Namun, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi augmented reality (AR), diharapkan pembelajaran mengenai pengenalan hewan purbakala dinosaurus dapat menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. AR dapat berfungsi sebagai alat visualisasi hewan purbakala dalam bentuk 3D, yang memudahkan anak-anak memperoleh informasi tentang dinosaurus, mulai dari bentuk, jenis, gerakan, hingga suara. Dalam aplikasi ini, model visualisasi dinosaurus yang telah diberi penanda akan dideteksi oleh sistem sebagai marker. Pendeteksian tersebut menggunakan metode pengenalan pola, yaitu Natural Feature Tracking (NFT) yang terdapat pada Library Vuforia Qualcomm. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini memungkinkan anak-anak untuk mengenal dinosaurus purbakala dengan lebih mudah dan menarik. Penyampaian informasi dalam bentuk 3D melalui augmented reality dapat meningkatkan antusiasme anak-anak dalam proses pembelajaran tentang dinosaurus purbakala.

Abstract

STMIK Bandung campus features various rooms, including classrooms, faculty offices, computer labs, and other facilities. Currently, room navigation relies on information displayed on campus walls or by asking staff, campus employees, and other students. A new application has been developed to visualize the STMIK Bandung building in the form of three-dimensional (3D) objects, serving as a medium to convey campus environment information through a building layout using AR (Augmented Reality) FPS (Control) and VR (Virtual Reality) technology. This application facilitates prospective students in obtaining information about the buildings on the STMIK Bandung campus. The software development methodology used is the waterfall method to address issues that arise during the creation of the AR FPS (Control) and VR application. The system design utilizes UML (Unified Modeling Language). The application is built using markerless techniques, a joystick, and virtual buttons. The tools used include Unity3D as the editor and Blender for designing the three-dimensional (3D) models.

Abstract

Subjective decision-making can lead to social disparities between employees so that it can hinder company performance. In contract extension, managers often experience difficulties in determining contract extensions because of the large number of candidates and also the many criteria used in the assessment. Therefore we need a decision support system that can support the decision making of employee extension so that managers can make decisions quickly, precisely and accurately. This decision support system uses the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method where this method can be used to overcome existing complexities, because of the many alternatives and criteria that must be considered in employee contract extensions such as discipline, attendance, work quality, and cooperation. The data used is an assessment of employee extension at PT.Tirta Sukses Perkasa System testing is carried out based on existing data at PT.Tirta Sukses Perkasa that is by comparing the results of Microsoft Excel calculations with the results of the system calculations that have been made.The results of the implementation of the decision support system for employee contract extension with the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method were made to assist in the decision-making process based on the optimal competency value of employees. So it can be used for employee contract extensions.

Abstract

STMIK Bandung memiliki SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) yang telah ditetapkan sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan tertentu. Informasi SOP masih menggunakan diagram alir yang terdiri dari teks dan gambar, sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya kesulitan dalam memahami proses-proses yang terdapat di dalam SOP STMIK Bandung. Pembangunan animasi SOP STMIK Bandung dilakukan untuk mendukung penyampaian informasi SOP. Dengan menggunakan Canvas HTML5 yang terdapat dalam aplikasi Adobe Animate, animasi yang dihasilkan berupa motion graphic. Animasi kemudian diimplementasikan pada website agar dapat diakses dan memudahkan dalam memahami SOP STMIK Bandung.

Abstract

Salah satu program di SMK Padakembang yang membantu menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas adalah program beasiswa. Agar dana beasiswa yang disalurkan dapat berjalan lancar, maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi untuk kelanjutan penerimaan beasiswa, sehingga beasiswa dapat diberikan kepada yang benar-benar memenuhi kriteria tanpa merugikan salah satu pihak. Untuk membantu penentuan hasil evaluasi kelanjutan penerimaan beasiswa, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk sistem pendukung keputusan adalah Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode ini dipilih karena merupakan suatu bentuk model pendukung keputusan di mana peralatan utamanya adalah sebuah hierarki fungsional dengan input utamanya adalah persepsi manusia, yaitu orang yang ahli dalam masalah beasiswa atau yang mengerti permasalahan beasiswa.

Abstract

Face recognition on an Android smartphone is a personal identification system that uses the physical characteristics of a person to automatically detect their identity through faces. In this face recognition detection technology will identify human faces through a digital image by matching or comparing with faces that have previously been stored and trained in data storage. The main problem faced in designing face recognition detection is how android devices can detect and recognize face objects. The proposed design method for Android-based face recognition detection is the local binary pattern (LBP) method, which in principle uses this method to get the characteristics of each face image by representing a gray image into binary numbers. The method developed is by modifying the heuristic function of the Ant-Miner algorithm. From the test results obtained that the performance of facial recognition detection using the LBP method on a person's face image has a good level of accuracy with an average of 96.7%, with 5 trials and 30 trials. In addition, this face recognition detection can also be used as a test framework for Android-based face recognition detection.

Abstract

Attendance is a crucial aspect across various sectors, such as corporate, governmental, and educational institutions, for efficient management. The advancement of deep learning technology, particularly in the field of facial recognition, has become a primary focus in enhancing identification accuracy. In this context, visual object detection through computer vision plays a key role, with the You Only Look Once (YOLO) method emerging as a leading choice for real-time object detection across various media, including webcams, due to its speed and efficiency. This research proposes the application of YOLO-V5 in the development of a student attendance system. This approach utilizes deep learning and data augmentation to enhance the accuracy of student identification. YOLO-V5 enables efficient real-time object detection, achieving an accuracy rate of up to 95% on each frame. The implementation of the student attendance system using the YOLO-V5 method successfully detects student attendance in real-time with a high level of accuracy. This demonstrates the potential of this method to improve the efficiency of attendance management and its suitability for integration into student attendance systems. This research represents a significant advancement in the use of deep learning and computer vision to increase the accuracy and efficiency of attendance management

Abstract

The Winnowing algorithm is used to identify similar words/sentences (common subsequences) in two or more compared texts. This algorithm converts the text's N-grams into hash values known as fingerprints. This study aims to design and implement a web-based thesis proposal similarity detection system at STMIK Bandung using the Winnowing algorithm. STMIK Bandung provides an online thesis title submission facility through the SIKPS website. However, students often submit identical titles without realizing that these titles have already been submitted. The developed system will assist students in detecting the similarity level of their submitted thesis proposals with existing proposals in the SIKPS website database.

Abstract

Along with the advancement of information and communication technology, particularly internet and web technologies, STMIK Bandung has implemented an Information System for New Student Admissions (PMB). Although this system has provided various benefits, the lack of separation between the Front-End and Back-End code structures in the current PMB application has led to limitations in scalability and performance optimization. When traffic increases, it becomes difficult to scale the Back-End infrastructure without affecting Front-End performance. As a solution, the development of a PMB system based on the Single Page Application (SPA) architecture is proposed. SPA enables a website to load only the necessary components based on user interactions instead of reloading the entire page, significantly improving speed and responsiveness. The software development methodology used in this project is Agile. By implementing SPA, STMIK Bandung can optimize user experience, enhance system stability, and simplify the software development and maintenance process. The research results show that the implementation of SPA not only modernizes the PMB system but also increases efficiency and convenience for users.

Abstract

The report card processing system at PAUD Zamaitul Manan is still carried out manually using handwriting, which requires a long time and has thepotential to cause errors in recording. This study aims to develop a web-based PAUD report card processing information system using the NaïveBayes method to classify and describe student development. The system development method uses the Waterfall model with analysis, design,implementation, and testing stages. The Naïve Bayes method is used to classify children's development achievements into four categories: Not YetDeveloped (BB), Starting to Develop (MB), Developing as Expected (BSH), and Very Well Developed (BSB). The system is built using PHP as aprogramming language, MySQL as a database management system, and the CodeIgniter framework. Test results using the Black Box methodshow that all system functions work well. The system successfully speeds up the value processing process, increases recording accuracy, andprovides automatic descriptions of child development based on Naïve Bayes classification results.
