Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) was driven by the urgent need to improve the accountability and efficiency of the financial management of the Mattiro Uleng Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa) in Pangkep Regency. The focus of the intervention was on training and assistance in digital financial recording using the Buku Warung application as a practical solution. The main problems identified are the BUMDesa's dependence on manual bookkeeping, which is prone to errors, the inability to produce reliable financial reports, and a lack of transparency, which significantly hinders the sustainability of village business units. The PKM implementation method included four stages: comprehensive assessment, digital awareness socialization, hands-on training on the Buku Warung application, and measurable mentoring and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests on 25 BUMDesa administrators. The material emphasized key features such as daily transaction recording, expenditure categorization, and digital accounts receivable/payable management. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score of participants by 52.7 points (from 35.0 to 87.7), indicating successful technology adoption. This improvement proves that the adoption of user-friendly digital tools is very effective in transforming financial literacy and practices at the village level, so that BUMDesa Mattiro Uleng is expected to be able to achieve a higher level of transparency and accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine and analyze the effects of price discounts, product quality, and service quality on purchase decisions among Generation Z consumers in Makassar's retail market. The research urgency stems from the retail sector's vital role as a driver of domestic economic growth and the rapid shift in consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z, who are digital natives characterized by technology-driven, consumption-oriented lifestyles. Using an associative quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys and literature reviews, and purposive sampling was used to select 100 Generation Z respondents (born between 1997 and 2012) who had made transactions in modern retail stores in Makassar. Data were analyzed using multiple regression with SPSS 25. The simultaneous test revealed that price discounts, product quality, and service quality collectively had a significant influence on purchase decisions. The coefficient of determination indicating that the model could explain 75.5% of the variation in purchase decisions. Partially, all three independent variables also had positive and significant effects. These findings suggest that improving discount strategies, product standards, and service performance can enhance purchasing decisions among Generation Z consumers in the retail industry

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in strengthening competitiveness, generating employment opportunities, and encouraging innovation in the modern economy. Along with the rapid development of digital technology, social media has become an increasingly relevant platform for entrepreneurial learning, business promotion, and opportunity recognition. This study examines the effects of self-efficacy, entrepreneurial knowledge, and social media use on entrepreneurial intention, with confidence positioned as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using data collected from 97 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. The study used a structured questionnaire as the main research instrument, and the data were analyzed to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings reveal that self-efficacy, entrepreneurial knowledge, and social media use have significant effects on entrepreneurial intention, both directly and indirectly through confidence. The results also show that confidence serves as an important psychological mechanism that strengthens the relationship between individual capability, entrepreneurial understanding, digital engagement, and the intention to start a business. These findings suggest that efforts to foster entrepreneurial intention should not only focus on improving knowledge and digital literacy, but also on building stronger personal confidence in entrepreneurial capability. This study provides practical implications for higher education institutions in designing entrepreneurship programs that integrate capability development, digital exposure, and confidence-building strategies to encourage stronger entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

This study examines the role of informal entrepreneurship education in shaping SDG-oriented entrepreneurial intention, with entrepreneurial mindset as a mediating variable among students of the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Tadulako. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 90 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that informal entrepreneurship education does not have a significant direct effect on SDG-oriented entrepreneurial intention. However, it has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial mindset, which in turn significantly influences SDG-oriented entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the findings reveal that entrepreneurial mindset fully mediates the relationship between informal entrepreneurship education and SDG-oriented entrepreneurial intention. These results highlight that informal learning alone is insufficient to foster sustainable entrepreneurial intention unless it is transformed into a strong entrepreneurial mindset. This study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the critical role of entrepreneurial mindset as a key mechanism linking informal learning and sustainability-oriented entrepreneurial intention. The findings also provide practical implications for educators and policymakers in designing entrepreneurship programs that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
