Abstract

The purpose of this study is to quantify the degree to which teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara is impacted by education and training (diklat). This study employs a field approach (field research) and quantitative methods. Questionnaires were given to respondents, in-person observations were made at the school, and documentation was completed in order to gather data. The whole teacher population of the school, or 62 teachers, participated in the survey. With the aid of SPSS version 16, data analysis was carried out using basic linear regression. The analysis's findings indicate a regression equation of Y = 3.296 + 0.897X and a correlation coefficient R of 0.804, which is categorized as extremely strong. This indicates that teacher performance is significantly improved by education and training. The 80.4% coefficient of determination indicates that training accounts for the majority of the variation in teacher performance, with other factors outside the scope of this study accounting for the remaining 19.6%. Thus, at SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara, training is crucial to raising teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the concept of marital maintenance in the Fathul Mu'in and Fathul Qarib books and the comparison between the two books. This type of research is included in the type of library research, namely research whose data collection is carried out by collecting data from various literatures. Where the primary data used in this study are the Fathul Mu'in and Fathul Qarib books. While the secondary data sources in this study were obtained from the Qur'an, Hadith, reference books, articles, journals, theses and theses and other written data that are relevant to the title of this thesis. The results of the analysis of this study show that: The similarities between the two books emphasize the husband's obligation to provide maintenance to his wife and the wife's right to receive maintenance as part of the responsibility of marriage. The difference in the two books is that Fathul Mu'in provides a very detailed explanation of the husband's obligation to provide maintenance to his wife, including food, clothing, shelter, servants, and other needs. This obligation is explained in detail according to the husband's economic condition (rich, sufficient, or poor). Meanwhile, Fathul Qarib provides a more concise explanation but still covers important aspects in providing a living, such as food, side dishes, clothing, household equipment, and housing. This book provides flexibility in implementing the obligation of living, depending on the economic conditions and local customs.

Abstract

In Positive Law in Indonesia divorce is regulated in legislation, namely Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning marriage strengthened in Minister of Religion Regulation Number 30 of 2024 and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This study aims to understand the considerations of the Panel of Judges in deciding cases and the views of Islamic Law related to divorce on the grounds of sexual disorder in the Sangatta Religious Court. This research uses a Qualitative method Normative juridical approach in this research uses normative legal research methods, focusing on legal systematics. Data was collected through observation techniques, in-depth interviews with the Head of the Sangatta Religious Court and documentation from various related sources. The results showed that the Judge's consideration related to divorce on the grounds of sexual disorder did not focus on the sexual disorder but on other factors such as indecent acts in sex and non-fulfillment of rights and obligations in marriage also contributed to this case.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marriage customs of Habaib in Sangatta from the perspective of Islamic law, focusing on the harmonization between customs and the principles of sharia. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore the subjective experiences of the perpetrators of Habaib marriage customs. The results showed that although the Habaib marriage custom in Sangatta still maintains the principle of maintaining lineage according to Islamic law, there is flexibility in adjusting some aspects of tradition to local culture. The marriage process is still carried out according to the pillars of Islam, and also the Habaib marriage custom in Sangatta reflects efforts to preserve traditional values that are considered sacred. however, harmonization between customary values and Islamic legal principles is needed so that the implementation of marriage remains inclusive and non-discriminatory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk program serta peran Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Sangatta Utara dalam meminimalisir praktik pernikahan siri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan hukum normatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KUA menjalankan program edukatif melalui bimbingan pranikah, penyuluhan hukum, serta kerja sama dengan tokoh masyarakat. Selain itu, KUA juga berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam proses isbat nikah di Pengadilan Agama untuk melegalkan pernikahan siri. Namun, keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya tenaga penyuluh, dan rendahnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat menjadi hambatan utama. KUA berupaya mengatasi hal tersebut melalui pendekatan persuasif, kerja sama lintas sektor, dan sosialisasi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe educational service quality management implementation, analyze strategies to improve school competitiveness through an educational service quality management approach, and offer applicable strategic recommendations based on quality management principles at State Senior High School 1 North Sangatta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the State Senior High School 1 North Sangatta research location. The research subjects included the principal, vice principal for curriculum and student affairs, education personnel, teachers, and several students and parents as users of educational services. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis followed the interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The study results indicate that quality management practices in schools have been implemented through several separate initiatives that reflect the reliability of academic services. However, there are still weaknesses in responsiveness, especially in administrative services and complaint systems. This study recommends strengthening an integrated quality management system based on information technology and strategic leadership to improve school competitiveness in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) in improving students’ learning outcomes in Arabic language learning at Pesantren Paqusatta, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method and is categorized as field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document studies using a descriptive technique. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Think Pair Share model in Arabic language learning is effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes and engagement. Students became more active and confident through the three main stages of the Think Pair Share model: first, providing a question or problem for students to think about individually (think); second, asking them to discuss in pairs (pair) to share answers and refine their understanding; and third, selecting several pairs to present their discussion results in front of the class (share), followed by correction and feedback. The supporting factors include providing opportunities for students to think independently, encouraging peer discussion, presenting ideas in front of the class, fostering collaboration among students, accelerating comprehension of learning materials, and helping improve Arabic speaking skills. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors consist of limited vocabulary, difficulties in constructing sentences, students’ shyness or lack of confidence and fear of making mistakes when speaking, the need for more time in discussion and presentation, and limited facilities.

Abstract

The planning, arranging, staffing, and supervision of every aspect of education in Islamic institutions are all part of the systematic operations known as Islamic Education Management. Curriculum design, staff and teaching staff management, student management, facility and financial management, community connections, and the creation of a work culture that supports learning are all starting points. For Islamic educational institutions to remain viable and advance, Islamic education management is crucial. Islamic educational institutions will be able to maintain their relevance, quality, and beneficial social impact with the support of effective administration. We must appropriately comprehend and implement the idea of Islamic-based educational administration if we are to meet the anticipated learning objectives. As a result, we need to examine this concept's consequences and significance in greater detail.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the financing management of Competency Improvement Activities for Special Supervisors at the Basic Education Level The research method applied in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach located in UPTD. Samarinda City Center for Disability Services and Inclusion Education. This activity is the implementation of one of the tasks of this institution in assisting inclusion schools in improving the competence of Special Supervisors. Financing management that is carried out includes planning, implementation and evaluation of financing. The results obtained from this study are that the Special Supervisor Teacher Competency Improvement Activity can be carried out using a cost of Rp. 80,579,000 (Eighty Million Five Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Rupiah), with a total of 366 Special Supervisor Teachers, for 5 (five) days, consisting of Basic Training and Advanced Training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. Iklim kerja yang kondusif dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, baik dalam aspek pengajaran, interaksi sosial, maupun profesionalisme. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 21 responden yang terdiri dari guru di sekolah tersebut. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah iklim kerja, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah kinerja guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai R sebesar 0,908, dengan kategori sangat kuat yang menjelaskan besaran korelasi atau hubungan kinerja guru dapat dijelaskan oleh iklim kerja. Kemudian besaran pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 0,824 yang mengandung pengertian bahwa pengaruh iklim kerja terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 82,4% dan 17,6% di pengaruhi oleh faktor di luar iklim kerja Uji t juga menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan, dengan nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin baik iklim kerja di sekolah, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja guru. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak sekolah untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas iklim kerja guna mendukung kinerja optimal para guru.
