Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan tantangan dalam deteksi plagiarisme pada penulisan akademik melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap publikasi ilmiah selama dekade terakhir (2015–2025). Dalam era digital yang ditandai oleh kemudahan akses informasi dan tekanan publikasi akademik, plagiarisme menjadi isu krusial yang mengancam integritas ilmiah. Penelitian ini menganalisis 10 artikel yang dipilih secara ketat dari 100 publikasi awal berdasarkan relevansi dan kriteria inklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa plagiarisme tidak hanya disebabkan oleh niat menyalin, tetapi juga oleh rendahnya literasi akademik, lemahnya kemampuan parafrase, serta kurangnya pemahaman etika ilmiah. Bentuk plagiarisme yang kompleks seperti parafrase tidak tepat, self-plagiarism, dan plagiarisme terjemahan masih sulit terdeteksi oleh sistem yang ada saat ini. Keterbatasan algoritma, basis data, serta ketidaktepatan dalam membedakan kutipan sah dan plagiarisme turut menjadi kendala utama. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan multidisipliner yaitu menggabungkan teknologi seperti machine learning, natural language processing, serta kebijakan etis dan edukatif dalam membangun sistem deteksi plagiarisme yang adil dan efektif. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan teknologi pendeteksi plagiarisme serta penyusunan kebijakan akademik yang mendukung integritas ilmiah.

Abstract

Efisiensi basis data MySQL sangat bergantung pada teknik optimasi kueri yang diterapkan, terutama dalam skenario dengan dataset besar dan kompleksitas kueri tinggi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengidentifikasi teknik optimasi kueri yang terbukti efektif berdasarkan analisis dari literatur terkait. Hasil SLR menunjukkan bahwa pengindeksan, restrukturisasi kueri, tabel partisi, optimasi join, dan caching secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja sistem dengan mengurangi waktu eksekusi kueri dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya. Teknik-teknik ini memberikan hasil optimal jika diterapkan sesuai dengan karakteristik data dan kebutuhan sistem. Selain itu, pemantauan kinerja berkala dan kombinasi teknik optimasi disarankan untuk mempertahankan efisiensi basis data. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan berbasis bukti bagi pengembang dan administrator dalam mengelola basis data MySQL yang lebih cepat dan efisien.

Abstract

Mengelola sistem informasi berbasis web memerlukan keamanan data, terutama di institusi pendidikan di mana informasi pribadi siswa disimpan. Basis data aplikasi manajemen siswa di SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung dibuat lebih aman dalam penelitian ini dengan memanfaatkan teknik kriptografi AES 256. Urgensi penelitian ini ditekankan oleh meningkatnya risiko terhadap sistem informasi akademik yang dapat mengakibatkan pelanggaran data dan penyalahgunaan. Implementasi dan analisis kinerja AES 256 untuk menjaga integritas dan keamanan data siswa adalah topik utama dari penelitian ini. Mengelola sistem informasi berbasis web memerlukan keamanan data, terutama di lembaga pendidikan di mana informasi pribadi siswa disimpan. Basis data aplikasi manajemen siswa di SMKN 4 Bandar Lampung dibuat lebih aman dalam penelitian ini dengan memanfaatkan teknik kriptografi AES 256. Urgensi penelitian ini ditekankan oleh meningkatnya risiko terhadap sistem informasi akademik yang dapat mengakibatkan pelanggaran data dan penyalahgunaan. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan Canva dalam mendukung implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada praktikum bahasa Inggris. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan data-data yang ditampilkan secara deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi dengan cara peneliti melakukan praktik langsung di kelas untuk memperoleh data primer sedangkan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk memperoleh data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva dalam model project based learning pada praktikum bahasa Inggris memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan berbahasa dan kreativitas mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan Canva sebagai alat bantu dalam project based learning mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam mengembangkan proyek berbasis visual seperti presentasi dan flyer interaktif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh fitur-fitur Canva yang intuitif dan mudah digunakan, sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengekspresikan ide dengan cara yang lebih menarik dan sistematis.

Abstract

The rapid advancements in information and communication technology (ICT) have transformed the education sector, particularly in integrating digital tools into teaching practices. This study explores the utilization of Google Workspace for Education in teaching English as a foreign language at Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five English lecturers. The findings reveal that tools like Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, Meet, and Drive. Enhance teaching efficiency, foster collaboration, and improve student engagement. These tools support diverse teaching learning activities, including material preparation, interactive learning, and formative and summative assessments. Moreover, the accessibility of Google Workspace allows learning to take place anytime and anywhere, aligning with the demands of modern education. This study underscores the importance of lecturers developing ICT skills to leverage digital tools effectively and create innovative learning environments. The integration of Google Workspace significantly contributes to improving the quality of English language teaching learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Early detection of stroke risk is crucial to prevent more severe complications. This study aims to develop a stroke prediction model based on machine learning using an open dataset from Kaggle containing patients' medical and demographic information. Four machine learning algorithms were utilized and compared: AdaBoost, Gradient Boosting, LightGBM, and XGBoost. Data preprocessing steps included missing value imputation, categorical variable encoding, numerical feature normalization, and class balancing using the SMOTEENN method. Additionally, feature selection was performed using the Extra Trees algorithm to enhance model performance. The results showed that the XGBoost model delivered the best performance, achieving an accuracy of 97.16%, an F1-score of 97.49%, and an AUC of 99.75%. This model proved to be effective in detecting stroke cases and holds potential for integration into clinical decision support systems. The study concludes that a combination of modern boosting algorithms and optimal preprocessing techniques can yield a reliable stroke prediction system suitable for implementation in digital healthcare contexts.

Abstract

Precision control of DC motors in industrial and robotics applications is often compromised by external loads and the limitations of open-loop systems, which cause instability in rotational speed and angular position. This study aims to design and build a PID-based intelligent control module for integrated DC motor speed and position control using an STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller and a rotary encoder as feedback. This system is designed as a closed-loop system to reduce the error between the setpoint and the actual value. Tests were conducted under no-load and with-load conditions at various speed setpoints (10–30 RPM) and angular changes (slow and fast). The results show that the system is able to stabilize motor performance with an average speed error of −0.3033 and 0.2766 RPM (no-load) for Motors A and B, and 0.2633 and 3.47 RPM (with-load). For angular position control, the average errors were 0.69° and 0.895° (without load), and 0.475° and 0.335° (with load). These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the PID-based intelligent control module in improving system accuracy and stability. This system offers a compact and practical solution for industrial automation and robotics applications requiring precise motor control.

Abstract

Cerebrovascular Accident (stroke) is a critical health issue in Indonesia, often leading to high mortality and long-term disability. Early detection through machine learning has emerged as a promising approach to improve diagnosis and treatment outcomes. This study aims to compare the performance of two classification algorithms, Decision Tree and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), in diagnosing stroke using the SMOTEENN (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique and Edited Nearest Neighbor) technique to address data imbalance. The dataset used contains 5110 samples with 11 independent variables and one dependent variable (stroke status), obtained from a public repository. After preprocessing and data balancing, both models were trained and evaluated based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results show that XGBoost outperforms Decision Tree in all evaluation metrics, achieving an accuracy of 96.48%, precision of 94.75%, recall of 99.03%, and F1-score of 96.85%, compared to Decision Tree’s accuracy of 91.55%, precision of 89.82%, recall of 95.32%, and F1-score of 92.49%. These findings confirm that the combination of XGBoost and SMOTEENN provides a more effective and reliable classification model for early stroke diagnosis. Future research is encouraged to explore deep learning techniques to further enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Abstract

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, a young adult novel by Holly Jackson, presents a compelling narrative of mystery while offering extensive opportunities to explore social and psychological dynamics through its main character. This study investigates the potential of the novel as a pedagogical tool by bridging young adult fiction and learning theories; analyzing how the protagonist, Pippa Fitz-Amobi, embodies Albert Bandura’s social cognitive theory. The research proposes fresh insights into their integration. Through the examination of personal agency, this study reveals how Pip’s agency shapes her decision-making and resilience in navigating complex situations. The findings highlight the effectiveness of young adult literature in illustrating fundamental learning principles, offering a modeling personal agency for its young readers.
