Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know learning using collaboration of problem posing method with cooperative type Think-Pair-Share can improve student achievement of second grade-DProdi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediridalam learning matemetika material Algebra Linier. This study uses a Classroom Action Research approach (PTK) with research subjects of second grade students-DProdi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri. The research was conducted in two cycles, using instrument in the form of RPP, student activity observation sheet, observation sheet of lecturer activity and test of student learning result. The results of research on the first cycle is the average of student achievement 69 with the highest score of 90 and the lowest score 48 with 64.70% classical completeness. While the second cycle is obtained average student achievement of 82.58 with the highest value of 100 and the lowest score 59 with 88,23% classical completeness. This shows that students' learning outcomes have increased gradually from cycle I to cycle II. With the acquisition of the above results, it can be concluded that through the implementation of collaborative learning method of problem posing with cooperative type Think-Pair-Share can improve student achievement of second grade-DProdi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri on linear Algebra subject.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions on cube and block material in terms of mathematical abilities. Where the objectives of learning mathematics contain cognitive aspects seen from problem-solving abilities and affective aspects which can be seen from mathematical dispositions. The purpose of this study was to describe problem solving abilities and mathematical dispositions, as well as the relationship between the two in the cube and block material in terms of mathematical abilities. This research was conducted at SMP Pawyatan Daha 2 Kediri City with the research subjects of class IX. The approach used is a qualitative approach. Data were collected by giving test questions of problem-solving abilities, giving mathematical disposition questionnaires, and interviews based on the results of test questions by each subject. The conclusions of the results of this study are (1) The problem-solving ability of students is generally in quite good criteria (2 Students' mathematical disposition is generally in good criteria, and (3) There is no significant relationship between problem-solving abilities and mathematical dispositions.

Abstract

Abstract T The material of composition and invers function is one of the materials that require students’ active in the learning process to increase the students’ comprehension. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of the implementation of BELMASIK learning method on the students’ achievement in composition and invers function. The research approach was quantitative using Pre-Experimental Design that was One-Group Pre-test-Post-test. 39 students of the-tenth grade of OTKP 1, OTKP 2, OTKP 3 at Vocational High School PGRI 2 Kediri was choosen as sample. Treatment was conducted three meetings. The results of this research showed that there was improvement on the students’ achievement in composition and invers function. It can be seen that the averages of the pre-test score was 57,5385 (SD ) become 72,0513 (SD ) with the Sig. (2-tailed) value was . It means that the BELMASIK learning method was affected the students’ achievement. This research proved that the BELMASIK method could be applied in teaching composition and invers function materials to increase students’ achievement.

Abstract

The government made a policy in education sector that is limited face-to-face learning (TMT) in line with declreasing in cases of COVID-19, which previously carried out online learning. The purpose of this study is to know whether limited face-to-face learning can improve students achievement in mathematics and is more effective than online learning in tenth grade students of OTKP department at vocational high school 2 PGRI Kediri. The study used quantitative research with pre-experimental design in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. The techniques that researchers use for sampling techniques is simple random sampling. The determination of samples regardless of population strata is 35 students. Data collection techniques through pretest and posttest implemented before and after face-to-face learning in the form of learning outcomes ability test on inverse mathematics and function composition. Data analysis used SPSS 20 for windows. Hypothesis test through paired-samples T-test, which compares the average of two variables in a single sample group. The result of this study showed that average students’ achievement got improved amount of 14,857 and the significant value was 0,000 or (p<0,05). Thus, it can be concluded that average of students achievement in mathematics subject after joining the limited face-to-face learning is increase.
