Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan aspek penting dalam pembelajaran IPA, terutama pada materi getaran, gelombang, bunyi, dan sistem pendengaran yang bersifat abstrak dan sulit dipahami siswa. Dalam memastikan agar siswa mampu menguasai konsep yang diajarkan, seorang guru diharuskan mempertimbangkan secara cermat model pembelajaran yang akan digunakan dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 22 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Wajo yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda beralasan dan dianalisis menggunakan uji n-gain dan uji paired-samples t-test. Hasil menunjukkan nilai gain sebesar 0,67 berada pada kategori sedang dan uji t menghasilkan signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat peningkatan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi yang diteliti.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of tahfidz instructors in improving the quality of Al-Qur'an memorization of students at the Al-Kaukabul Munir As'adiyah Islamic Boarding School, while identifying supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the instructor's contribution to the tahfidz process. Through a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods, this study shows that tahfidz instructors have a strategic role in preparing memorization schedules, tahsin and tahfidz guidance, implementing routine evaluations, and creating a conducive learning environment. Supporting factors for students' success include intrinsic motivation, memory skills, and family support, while obstacles that arise include lack of motivation, concentration disorders, psychological stress, and limited learning environment conditions. The research findings confirm that the instructor's contribution has a significant effect on increasing the quantity and quality of memorization, motivation, independence, and the formation of students' spiritual character, so that improving instructor competence is an important aspect for the success of the tahfidz program as a whole.

Abstract

This study examines the efforts to achieve balance between formal academic grades and the Al-Qur’an memorization target (tahfidz) among 6th-grade students at UPTD SDN 4 Maddukkelleng, who are in a dynamic cognitive development phase and face significant dual curriculum demands. The main challenges identified are the high cognitive load and psychological pressure (stress and achievement anxiety) stemming from both internal and external expectations. The students' success in balancing these two demands heavily relies on mastering time management (such as Time Blocking and Minimal Spacing strategies), adaptive learning strategies (Active Recall and Chunking), as well as self-discipline and mental resilience (grit). Furthermore, the central role of social support particularly from tahfidz teachers, assisting teachers, and parents is proven to be essential in fostering students' intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy, ensuring that the tahfidz process is based on awareness and love rather than coercion. This integrated approach ultimately aims to produce individuals who are not only academically and memorizationally successful, but also responsible, focused, and morally upright.
