Abstract

Abstract One of the textbooks used in different countries written by non-Arabs is "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz. By the author, he allegedly used a communicative input. However, in terms of strategic competence and the perspective of the foundations of the preparation of educational materials, it was not enough. Based on this issue, the objectives of this research are to know the foundations of the teaching materials in the textbook "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, and its educational materials from the perspective of communicative competence. This research used the synthetic-inferential approach with the theory of foundations for preparing educational materials and the theory of communication. The type of this research is qualitative-quantitative through a desk study, which is written data and taken from the textbook "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, whether it was printed or electronic version. The data collection used the documentation method, and the data analysis used the James Spradley method and discourse analysis. The results obtained by the research are the foundations for the preparation of the textbook, "Modern Standard Arabic" by Schulz, which is the structural-communicative approach; purposes; Material consisting of its selection, organization, arrangement and presentation; ways; and evaluation, and the educational material in that book is a perspective of communicative competence is very good which is up to 85.45%. Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to review the use of hermeneutics Khaled M. Abou El-Fadl in finding a potential meaning of the text Quran and the hadith in terms of epistemology. It departs from El-Fadl is one of the contemporary Muslim intellectuals who has criticized the authoritarianism of most Muslims to be removed because against God and just believe in the single meanings. Though the text made by God to contain the potential meanings can be harmonized and contextualize the demands of the times. In addition, hermeneutic departing from the study of Islamic law or fiqh, which is often confused with the Quranic text or as fiqh is the text itself. With a philosophical approach based on literature data and discourse analysis found that El-Fadl offers hermeneutics subjective-fiqhiyyah based on the interaction between the text and the interpretive community and "a little concerned" about the role of the author or the Lord so as to present a reinterpretation of the text in the form of the potential meaning of the text which at the same time avoiding the imposition of the single meaning that generally do lending institutions fatwa. Besides that distinguishes it from other contemporary hermeneutics Muslim intellectuals or philosophers west are El-Fadl did not recognize the individual's ability to interpret text, but "community" or in the language of jurisprudence called mujtahid jam'ī and was able to explain the position of God in the stage of interpreting the text without having to remove it as subjective hermeneutics of the West.Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan mengulas hermeneutika yang digunakan Khaled M. Abou El-Fadl dalam menemukan potensi-potensi makna dalam teks Alquran dan hadis ditinjau dari epistemologi. Ini berangkat dari El-Fadl merupakan salah satu intelektual muslim kontemporer yang kritis atas otoritarianisme sebagian umat muslim harus dihilangkan karena melawan Tuhan dan hanya percaya terhadap pemaknaan tunggal. Padahal teks yang dibuat oleh Tuhan mengandung potensi-potensi makna yang bisa diselaraskan dan dikontekstualisasikan dengan tuntutan zaman. Selain itu hermeneutikanya berangkat dari kajian hukum Islam atau fikih yang sering tertukar dengan teks Alquran atau seolah fikih adalah teks itu sendiri. Dengan pendekatan filosofis berbasis data pustaka dan analisis wacana, ditemukan bahwa El-Fadl menawarkan hermeneutika subjektif-fiqhiyyah yang berbasis pada interaksi antara teks dan komunitas interpretasi dan “sedikit peduli” terhadap peran pengarang atau Tuhan sehingga mampu menghadirkan pemaknaan ulang terhadap teks berupa potensi-potensi makna teks yang sekaligus menghindari pemaksaan terhadap pemaknaan tunggal yang umumnya dilakukan lembaga pemberi fatwa. Selain itu yang membedakannya dengan hermeneutika intelektual muslim kontemporer lain atau filosuf Barat adalah El-Fadl tidak mengakui kemampuan individu dalam menafsirkan teks, melainkan “komunitas” atau dalam bahasa fikih disebut mujtahid jam’ī dan mampu menjelaskan posisi Tuhan dalam tahapan menafsirkan teks tanpa harus menghilangkannya sebagaimana hermeneutika subjektif dari Barat.

Abstract

This paper amis to analyze the essence, source, approach and validity of syntax of pedagogical Arabic in the perspective of contemporary linguists. This was based on linguists who hold a classical syntax, saying renewal of pedagogical syntax in the contemporary era is not yet epistemological because it only redefines and implies classical syntax. With the philosophy approach of language education and educational linguistic theory based on library data with discourse analysis, it is found that pedagogical syntax iss Arabic grammar for learning to be proficient in speaking; derived from the Quran, hadith, poetry and syntax of classical schools and modern Arabic writing. The drafting approach is structural-behavioral with prescriptive, relevance, gradation, structural, clarity and simple principles. The methods are naqd, damj, tarjîh al-’arâ’, ziyâdah, tabwîb and ikhtishâr. The validity is pragmatic. On this basis, pedagogical syntax has its own distinct epistemology with classical syntax.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reason, form and meaning of arabization regent regulation (perbup) in Tasikmalaya and its implications for the national legal system. This departs from the arabization of Tasikmalaya regency that tends to be unilateral and less concerned about Sundanese writing. Using the approach of political linguistics and the theory of Mythology from Roland Barthes, it shows that Perbup arabization in Tasikmalaya district was underlied by history and sociological majority of Santri with Islam ideology since 19th centuries until now. In addition, the emergence of Arabization is legally inspired by the vision and mission of Tasikmalaya Regency itself as it wants to become an Islamic religious district. The implementation of Perbup arabization uses Pegon Arabic-Sundanese with three forms called the name of the Regional Work Unit, the official manuscript and the monument. Connotatively or mythologically, the Arabization shows that the regent of Tasikmalaya seeks to spread the ideology of Islamic Nusantara or Islamic Santri to Tasikmalaya society specifically and Indonesian people in general. While the implication to the national legal system is the incoherence of the legal system components in Indonesia. Abstrak: Tujuan tulisan ini adalah menganalisis alasan, bentuk dan makna dari arabisasi dalam Peraturan Bupati di kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan implikasinya dalam hukum nasional. Ini berangkat dari adanya arabisasi pada Peraturan Bupati Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yang cenderung sepihak dan kurang peduli tulisan Sunda. Dengan pendekatan politik linguistik dan teori mitologi Roland Barthes, ditemukan bahwa arabisasi dalam Peraturan Bupati di kabupaten Tasikmalaya dilatarbelakangi oleh sejarah dan sosiologis mayoritas kaum santri yang berideologi Islam Nusantara sejak abad ke-19 hingga sekarang. Selain itu munculnya arabisasi ini secara hukum diilhami oleh visi dan misi Kabupaten Tasikmalaya itu sendiri yang ingin menjadi kabupaten religius islami. Adapun implementasi arabisasi Peraturan Bupati tersebut menggunakan Pegon Arab Sunda dengan tiga bentuk yaitu nama satuan kerja perangkat daerah, naskah dinas dan monumen. Secara konotatif atau mitologis arabisasi itu menunjukkan bahwa bupati Tasikmalaya berusaha menyebarkan ideologi Islam Nusantara atau Islam Santri kepada masyarakat Tasikmalaya itu sendiri secara khusus dan masyarakat Indonesia secara umum. Sementara implikasinya terhadap hukum nasional adalah adanya ketidakpaduan antara komponen sistem hukum di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between communicative methods and role play in a philosophical-methodological manner, and to apply role play in gender-based kalām learning. This is motivated by the uncertainty of the position and the theoretical foundation of the communicative method and role play in the structure of the Arabic learning methodology. In addition, so far the study of methodology has been limited to structural-procedural, has not touched the meaning-contextual aspect so that it cannot include certain values, such as gender justice, even though behind Arabic there is a patriarchal culture of the Arab nation which should be minimized. With a philosophical-methodological approach based on library data and discourse analysis, it is found that role playing is a technique of the communicative method. When role play is applied in gender-based kalām learning, the concept of elements at the philosophical-theoretical and implementative-technical levels of the communicative method must be reconstructed with an anthropolinguistic approach using critical discourse analysis from poststructural equipped with additional components, such as text, themes, role functions, how to form groups, convey educators, and linguistics, which are based on the discourse of gender justice.

Penerbit : Keluarga Mathali’ul Falah Yogyakarta Tahun terbit : I, 2012 Halaman : xvi + 187 halaman Setiap lembaga pendidikan tentu memiliki orientasi keilmuan yang telah dipilih guna mengantarkan peserta didiknya menuju pintu kesuksesan masing-masing. Ada lembaga yang hanya berorientasi dunia kerja (ekonomi). Ada pula lembaga yang hanya melulu hanya mengejar akhirat, dengan sedikit mempertimbangkan dunia. Kedua model lembaga ini cenderung mendikotomikan agama dan dunia. Selain itu, ada suatu lembaga pendidikan yang mencoba memadukan kedua tujuan pembelajaran sebelumnya. Namun, di era serba instan dan pragmatis ini model lembaga yang ketiga ini sudah mulai ditinggal oleh masyarakat. Padahal sebagai umat muslim seharusnya mampu mengintegrasikan antara dunia dan akhirat sebagai tujuan pendidikan. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang istiqa>mah memadukan keilmuan yang bersifat agama dan duniawi adalah Mathali’ul Falah (selanjutnya disingkat Mathali’). Lewat buku berjudul “Madrasah Para Kiai; Refleksi Untuk Satu Abad Perguruan Islam Mathali’ul Falah” para alumninya ingin mengenalkan dan membuktikan sisi idealitas keilmuan itu. Sehingga meskipun berada di tengah-tengah perubahan arus lembaga pendidikan yang berorientasi pada dunia kerja, Mathali’ mampu konsistensi dan bersaing. Bahkan dalam kurikulum pendidikan -yang setara dengan MI/SD sampai MA/SMK/SMA-Mathali’ tidak mengikuti Sistem Pendidikan Nasional yang dianggap sementara ahli-pendidikan ‘gagal’ membentuk peserta didik yang berkarakter dan berwawasan moral-agamis.

Abstract

The research method was dominated critiques hadith sanad, so criticism of honor is considered as a complementary method, whereas honor is the substance of the tradition itself, which was initially used as a consideration in determining the quality of the hadith. On this basis, this article tried to put kririk honor as the primary method in the study of hadith. By using the approach of 'ulu> m al- Hadi> s {via the method of literature found that criticism of honor has rules that can scientifically be used as the primary method, or at least parallel to ktirik sanan. In addition, criticism of honor which historically suspended animation, at this time began to be revived. One of the main motivations is some correlation and similarity of the contents of the hadith with the knowledge produced by modern sciences.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode eklektik untuk meningkatkan skor Toafl guru SMP Islam Al-Hadi Sukoharjo. Ini karena, para guru tersebut merasa hanya menjadi subjek yang memberikan materi-materi bahasa Arab kepada siswa sehingga tidak update terhadap perkembangan mutakhir bahasa Arab, khususnya Toafl. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan linguistik edukasional dengan teori metode pembelajaran eklektik dan secara metodologis, menggunakan pendekatan kuantilatif melalui rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas berjumlah dua siklus dengan model Kurt Levin. Sumber datanya diperoleh dari guru SMP Al-Hadi, tutor atau tim peneliti sendiri, dan peristiwa pembelajaran di kelas melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan FGD yang dianalisis secara deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan persentase dan deskriptif-kualitatif menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan metode eklektik berhasil meningkatkan Toafl guru dengan baik hingga mencapai rerata skor 507 (63%) dengan rerata kenaikan 18% di skor keseluruhan, 9% di fahm al-masmu’, 24% di tarakib wa asalib, dan 21% di fahm al-maqru’

Abstract

Purpose- This article aims to examine the combination of the classical dan modern Arabic curriculum at the Darul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, Pati. Design/Methodology/Approach- This article uses an educational linguistic approach and qualitative-verification with curriculum organization theory. Data sourced from the field through observation, interviews and documentation, and analyzed using the Spradley method with domain, taxonomy, componential and cultural techniques. Findings- The results of this study are the combination of the Islamic boarding school curriculum in the form of a micro that integrates the curriculum of the classical dan modern Islamic boarding school, without linking it with other educational institutions. The integrated curriculum components are system, organization, objectives, materials, methods, educators dan evaluation. However, there are several sub-components that are not integrated, but only adopted from one of the classical dan modern Islamic boarding school. In addition to micro, in terms of planning dan learning practices, this curriculum blend is also integration-interconnection. Research Limitations/Implications- The field data of this research is only sourced from the Darul Hidayah Islamic boarding school, then the literature is compared with other Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Sebagai penerbit berskala kecil dengan tata kelola sederhana, permasalahan yang kerap muncul di penerbit independen (indie) adalah tidak optimalnya pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam bidang penerjemahan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, Grup Riset Bahasa dan Sastra Arab, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) menyelenggarakan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penerjemahan naskah fiksi di kalangan penerjemah, khususnya pekerja lepas (freelancer). Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui media Zoom Cloud Meeting selama dua pekan dan diikuti oleh 110 orang peserta dari berbagai kota di Indonesia. Pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup pemaparan materi, praktik, penugasan, dan evaluasi tugas. Dalam evaluasi, diperoleh hasil bahwa persoalan utama yang dihadapi peserta antara lain pemadanan kata yang tepat dan berterima, khususnya istilah bidang sastra, penyesuaian gaya bahasa sastra, dan pemahaman konteks cerita secara utuh. Dengan demikian, persoalan tersebut perlu diatasi agar penerjemah memiliki kompetensi yang baik sehingga fiksi terjemahan memiliki kualitas kesusastraan yang sama, baik dalam bahasa sumber maupun bahasa sasaran.
