Abstract

This study aims to produce an encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment and to find out the feasibility of the encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment developed as a biology learning resource for high school students. This study included research and development (R D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) developed by Reiser and Mollenda in the 1990s. This research is limited only to the implementation stage (limited or small scale implementation), then limited testing is conducted to 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 2 biology teachers and 4 peer reviewers and 20 students' responses to the product developed to determine the quality/feasibility of the product. The research instrument was in the form of a check list questionnaire using a Likert scale. The design of this study uses a descriptive qualitative research design with the type of data in the form of qualitative and quantitative data to determine the quality/feasibility of the product being developed. the results showed that: encyclopedia products of biology laboratory equipment were developed with the ADDIE model. The quality/feasibility of the encyclopedia is developed based on the assessment of material experts with a percentage of 80% including the good category (B); media experts at 85.6% including the excellent category (SB); biology teachers at 91% including the excellent category (SB); peer reviewers at 86.8% including the excellent category (SB); and student responses of 87.6% included very feasible categories. Thus it can be concluded that the encyclopedia of biological laboratory equipment developed having very decent quality is used as a reference for teachers in biology laboratory as well as can be used by high school students as one of the learning resources of biology.

Abstract

AbstractIndonesia is a country that has abundant flora and fauna. Mount Muria, Kudus Regency, Central Java has a high potential for bird biodiversity. The area which is a natural protected forest area, is very supportive for the existing bird habitat. However, this potential is still rarely known by the general public due to the lack of publications. The aims to find out and analyze the types of birds and to find out and analyze the condition of the bird habitat found in the Mount Muria area. The research was conducted using the transect method with 3 observation stations. The observed birds were then photographed and identified based on the field guide of MacKinnon. The results showed that 22 species 18 families were identified, including: Campephagidae, Vangidae, Sittidae, Pycnonotidae, Rhipiduridae, Nectariniidae, Eurylaimidae, Pellorneidae, Hirundinidae, Cisticolidae, Dicaeidae, Pittidae, Alcedinidae, Meropidae, Megalaimidae, Apodidae, Accipitridae and Cuculidae. Habitat conditions are strongly influenced by biotic and abiotic components to support the survival and diversity of birds on Mount Muria

Abstract

Hands-on activities experienced many obstacles during the Covid-19 pandemic. So, students' skills in the laboratory were also affected. In addition, the inculcation of Islamic values in learning needs more attention in religion-based schools. The study aimed to develop a design of e-laboratory instruction based on the unity of sciences paradigm on biotechnology material (producing tempeh) and prove its feasibility. This study uses the ADDIE model by Dick and Carey (1996). The data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of twelfth graders in science class in SMA Hasyim Asy'ari Pekalongan, Central Java. The validation results from material and media experts show that e-laboratory instruction is very eligible, 91.81% and 85.38%. While the integration expert validators state that design is very high (86.67%). The biology teacher's response reached 85.71% (very high). The result of the pilot test is 85.41%, categorized as very high. The e-laboratory instruction based on the unity of sciences paradigm in producing tempeh is suitable for learning.

Abstract

Media is one of tool to help the learning process. The media used in Senior Hight School 7 Semarang still general like book and LKS, the media admitted still has weakness from the presentation of contents, picture and increasing students interest, so that the learning looks monotonic and less to give progress of learning which is fun in the class. The thing explained raises the results of research like Developing The Book Which has Pictures and Textured and It is Completed with Crossword Puzzle As Media Learning Sub Material Materials Epitel Class XI SMA. This research uses the method. (R & D) with 4-D development model Thiagarajan dkk production Defind, Design, Develop and Dessiminate. The result of the research is based on the assessment of media material expert has decent criteria (Very Good) with 90.9% percentage, assessment according to the media expert is included in the criteria worth (excellent) with 85.5% percentage and the assessment according to the teacher is included in the appropriate category (Very Good) with a percentage of 98.48%. The effectiveness of the media on the value of entry in the category is quite effective with the mean of the average student control score of 5.70. Media readability test after using in the learning category is very good with a percentage of 86.1%. The result of reseach showing deserves using in the learning.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran androbiocation berbasis SETSI (Science, Environment, Technology, Society dan Islamic integrated) dan HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) pada materi sistem koordinasi dan menguji kelayakan androbiocation yang telah dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran androbiocation adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yaitu (Analyze, Design, Development, Implemetation dan Evaluation) yang dikembangkan oleh Robert M. Branch pada tahun 1975. pada penelitian ini menggunakan evaluasi formatif yaitu hasil penilaian terhadap media yang dilakukan setiap tahapnya sehingga dapat mengetahui kualitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran androbiocation yang dibuat sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penilaian media didasarkan para ahli dan peserta didik yakni ahli materi 85 persen (sangat layak) , ahli media 91 persen (sangat layak), ahli integrasi 100 persen (sangat layak), dan guru biologi 93 persen (sangat layak), serta terakhir peserta didik kelas XI SMA mendapat presentase 90 persen (sangat layak).Abstract. The purpose of this development is to develop androbiocation learning media based on SETSI (Science, Environment, Technology, Society and Islamic integrated) and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) in the coordination system material and test the feasibility of androbiocation that has been developed. The method used to develop androbiocation learning media is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) which was developed by Robert M. Branch in 1975. In this study using formative evaluation, namely the results of the assessment of the media carried out at each stage so that they can know the quality. The results showed that the androbiocation learning media that was made was very suitable to be used as a learning medium. Media assessment is based on experts and students, namely material experts 85 percent (very decent), media experts 91 percent (very decent), integration experts 100 percent (very decent), and biology teachers 93 percent (very decent), and finally students’ class XI SMA gets a percentage of 90 percent (very decent).

Abstract

Pelatihan desain dasar UI/UX memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait desain web dan aplikasi mobile. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan berbasis perangkat lunak Figma dalam membantu siswa memahami konsep dasar desain antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengajaran teori, praktik langsung dengan Figma, dan diskusi interaktif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan di bidang teknologi informasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam merancang antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif dan estetis, serta memperkenalkan prinsip-prinsip desain yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pelatihan berbasis Figma dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk membangun kompetensi dasar desain UI/UX bagi siswa, sehingga mereka lebih siap menghadapi tantangan dalam dunia kerja.

Abstract

Climate change literacy and pro-environmental behaviour have been proven to be one of the solutions to address climate change in the student’s perspective from several countries. Therefore, it is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of the relation between these two variables for the impact on climate change in Indonesia. The objective of this research was to analyse the relationship between climate change literacy and pro-environmental behaviour among senior high school students in Indonesia. A correlation study was conducted using a survey method. The samples were students from the X, XI, and XII grades of senior high school, collected using proportionate stratified random sampling. A total of 386 students from three schools participated in this survey. The test comprised a climate change awareness instrument to examine climate change literacy. Furthermore, a questionnaire was used to measure pro-environmental behaviour among high school students. Additionally, interviews were conducted to obtain comprehensive data. The results demonstrated a positive and highly significant relationship between climate change literacy and pro-environmental behaviour among senior high school students. This research highlighted that awareness of climate change causes and government policies related to climate change influenced pro-environmental behaviour.

Abstract

Website KNPI Kecamatan Legok berhasil dirancang dan dikembangkan sebagai media informasi terpusat yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi komunikasi dan akses informasi organisasi. Dengan menerapkan metode Waterfall, pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara sistematis mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga pengujian, sehingga menghasilkan website yang stabil dan sesuai dengan tujuan awal. Keberadaan fitur seperti profil organisasi, berita kegiatan, galeri, dan sistem login admin mendukung transparansi serta partisipasi masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda. Website ini tidak hanya menggantikan peran media sosial yang sebelumnya kurang terstruktur, tetapi juga menjadi langkah awal transformasi digital KNPI dalam memperkuat eksistensinya di era informasi saat ini.

Abstract

Purpose - In the era of rapid digital transformation, madrasah principals are required not only to possess strong leadership skills but also to demonstrate digital literacy in managing schools and guiding the educational community. This study aims to develop a digital e-book on madrasah principal leadership rooted in the cultural values of pesantren, intended to foster digital literacy among students and school stakeholders. Methods - Employing a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the e-book was validated by material experts, media experts, and practitioners. Findings – The validation results revealed high feasibility scores: 90.1% from material experts, 89.2% from media experts, and 91.5% from practitioners, with an overall average of 90.26%, categorized as "very feasible." In terms of practicality, student users rated the e-book at 81.48%, indicating a "very practical" category, particularly in aspects such as ease of use, cognitive content, and information presentation. The e-book integrates pesantren values such as sincerity, discipline, and community-based leadership into digital learning, providing a culturally grounded yet technologically relevant tool. Research implications / limitations - This research offers practical implications for the development of educational media that aligns with Islamic educational culture, though further studies are needed to assess long-term impacts on leadership behavior and digital competence in diverse school contexts. Originality/Value - This study presents an innovative blend of pesantren-based leadership education and digital literacy training through an interactive e-book, addressing a gap in culturally contextualized digital resources for Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Learning resources need to be developed based on current developments. The purpose of this research was to develop an Islamic-based Botanical Encyclopedia and test its quality. The method used to develop the encyclopedia was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Design, Define, Develop, and Disseminate) proposed by Thiagarajan in 1974 as the development model. The research instrument had been validated by the material, media, and integration experts. The average percentage of the validation result was 88% (a very valid category). The small-scale trial obtained a percentage of 89% (very valid), and the large-scale trial obtained a percentage of 85% (very feasible category). The results indicated that the developed Islamic-based Botanical encyclopedia could be used as a resource for independent learning.
