Abstract

This problem was driven by the low critical thinking skills of students. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the use of Augmented Reality (AR)-based teaching materials to improve critical thinking skills in the IPAS subject. The method that was used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study consisted of 54 students who were determined using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used essay test instruments which were then analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The statistical analysis showed that the Fcount value is 54.17 with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It could be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality (AR)-based teaching materials was very effective in improving the critical thinking skills in the IPAS subject of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sepang Jaya.

Abstract

Rendahnya sikap sosial peserta didik sekolah dasar seperti empati, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab menjadi tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di era modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) berbantuan media Prezi terhadap peningkatan sikap sosial peserta didik sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian melibatkan peserta didik kelas V di MIN 5 Bandar Lampung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket sikap sosial yang telah divalidasi dan reliabel, serta diperkuat dengan observasi dan dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model VCT berbantuan media Prezi, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada sikap sosial peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model VCT berbantuan Prezi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi model pembelajaran berbasis nilai dengan media digital interaktif mampu menciptakan proses belajar yang lebih menarik, reflektif, dan bermakna, sehingga berkontribusi terhadap penguatan empati, kerja sama, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran karakter yang adaptif terhadap kemajuan teknologi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine students’ perceptions of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium. The research was conducted among 87 students of the 2023 cohort in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form, and analyzed using percentage-based descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that students’ perceptions of the use of Augmented Reality as an interactive learning medium are categorized as good, with an average score of 3.12 on a 4-point scale, equivalent to 78%. These findings suggest that the use of AR can enhance students’ engagement, interest, and understanding of learning materials through a more interactive and contextual learning experience. Therefore, Augmented Reality can serve as an effective and innovative learning medium in higher education, particularly in improving the quality of technology-based learning within the Primary School Teacher Education program.

Abstract

Permasalahan sosial-emosional anak usia sekolah dasar semakin menuntut perhatian, terutama pasca pandemi COVID-19 yang memunculkan gejala kecemasan, perilaku menarik diri, hingga agresivitas. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam mendampingi perkembangan sosial-emosional siswa, namun masih banyak yang belum memiliki keterampilan komunikasi empatik dan strategi pembelajaran bermakna. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru TK dan SD di Sekolah Tunas Mekar Indonesia (TMI) Bandar Lampung melalui pelatihan komunikasi empatik dan pembelajaran bermakna. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pelatihan dan pendampingan, meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan workshop, simulasi, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru tentang komunikasi empatik, perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran menjadi lebih kontekstual dan bermakna, serta terbentuknya iklim kelas yang lebih positif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul pelatihan, instrumen observasi, laporan praktik baik, dan artikel ilmiah sebagai luaran. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan komunikasi empatik dan pembelajaran bermakna efektif memperkuat peran guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang humanis, inklusif, dan mendukung kesejahteraan sosial-emosional siswa.

Abstract

The low level of students’ mathematical problem-solving ability at SD Negeri 6 Metro Timur constituted the main issue in this study. This research aimed to determine the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities, and to examine the differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities between students who received learning through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and those who received learning through the scientific approach. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of students from classes IVA and IVB, which were assigned as the control and experimental groups and selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using test and non-test techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression and an Independent Sample t-test. The results of the simple linear regression test showed that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and the scientific approach influenced students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities by 66% and 61%. This finding is further supported by the results of the Independent Sample T-test indicated a significant difference in mathematical problem-solving abilities between students who received learning through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and those who received learning through the scientific approach. Abstract

The problem in this study was the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade studentsat SD Negeri 1 Mataram. This research aims to investigate the impact ofinteractive PowerPoint media on students' learning outcomes. The researchmethod employs a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control groupdesign. The sample consists of 30 students from class IVA as the control groupand 29 students from class IVB as the experimental group; the sample emergesfrom non-probability sampling via saturated sampling technique. Data collectiontechniques include tests and non-tests. Data analysis employs simple linearregression testing, revealing a 77% effect size for the variable. The results show apositive and significant influence from the application of interactive PowerPointmedia on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in class IVBat SD Negeri 1 Mataram for the 2025/2026 academic year.
