Abstract

The study aims to test and analyze the relationship between the effect of emotional intelligence and work mutations on employee performance mediated by perceived job satisfaction. The type of research used is the quantitative approach, the population in this study is the entire employee who works at Astra Daihatsu Makassar Urip Sumoharjo which amounts to 52 employees, the sampling technique used in this research is using the total sample, where the entire number of population in the study is used as. The analysis used in hypothesis testing is path analysis with the help of Smart PLS 3 software. The results of the analysis provide evidence that the emotional intelligence that an employee possesses cannot support the creation of employee performance, but in other parts it has been shown to increase employee job satisfaction. Implementation of mutations has been proven to improve employee job satisfaction and work performance. Creation of high performance can be done by increasing employee satisfaction in work. The role of job satisfaction as a mediator in explaining the effects of emotional intelligence and the implementation of mutations has proven to have a meaningful impact in the creation of higher-directional employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Talent Management on Employee Retention with Employee Engagement as a mediator, where this study used a saturated sample with a census method for sampling, namely 45 samples. The research method used is structural equation model analysis with the help of smartpls software. The results of this study indicate that talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, and employee engagement has a positive and significant effect mediating the influence between talent management on employee retention

Abstract

Kegiatan dialog dan sharing session ini bertujuan untuk menggali potensi dari para pekerja migran dan diaspora bugis terhadap perekonomian sulawesi selatan. Selain itu kegiatan ini merupakan ajang silaturahmi warga bugis di Johor, Malaysia dengan peserta kegiatan dari Makassar. Diharapkan juga hasil kegiatan inibisa menjadi referensi bagi stakeholder, baik itu bagi pekerja, akdemisi maupun pemerintah. Kegiatan ini melibatkan pekerja migran dan diaspora bugis yang ada di Johor dengan pihak STIEM Bongaya dan School Of Human Resource Development & Psychology, University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam bentuk sharing session dan diskusi dimana pemateri berasal dari Muzium Bugis Malaysia dan STIEM Bongaya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Juli 2024 di Muzium Bugis Johor Malaysia. Adapun kesimpulan yang dapat di tarik dalam kegiatan ini adalah Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Sulawesi Selatan. Remitan yang mereka kirimkan tidak hanya memberikan manfaat bagi keluarga, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Dengan dukungan dan perlindungan yang baik, diharapkan para TKI dapat terus memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perekonomian Sulawesi Selatan. Kontribusi diaspora asal Sulawesi Selatan di Malaysia terhadap perekonomian daerah asal mereka sangatlah besar, baik melalui remitansi, investasi, pengembangan usaha, maupun transfer pengetahuan dan jaringan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, dukungan dari pemerintah dalam bentuk regulasi yang mendukung investasi diaspora serta program pelatihan bagi tenaga kerja dan pengusaha sangat diperlukan agar manfaat ekonomi dari diaspora ini dapat lebih optimal dirasakan oleh masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstract typing is done single-spaced with narrower margins than the right and left margins of the main text. Key words need to be included to describe the problem domain being researched and the main terms that underlie the implementation of the research. Key words can be single words or combinations of words. Number of key words 3-5 words. These keywords are necessary for computerization. Searching for research titles and abstracts is made easier with these keywords.

Abstract

Kejahatan di dunia perbankan merupakan imbas dari perekonomian yang tidak stabil. Tindak pidana perbankan seharusnya tidak boleh terjadi jika komponen Bank (share Holder, Manajemen dan stake holder) memegang teguh prinsip Good Corporate Government (GCG). Salah satu dari sekian banyak tindak pidana kejahatan perbankan adalah window dressing. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membedah masalah window dressing dengan pendekatan ilmu semiotika / ilmu tanda. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa window dressing jika ditelusuri lebih jauh merupakan “tanda / konotasi” dari praktek ekonomi kapitalis di Indonesia.. Demi untuk mendapatkan banyak uang, Pemilik bank (share holder) mematok defiden yang tinggi (kepada Manajemen) lewat target yang tinggi. Praktek yang dijalankan oleh pengusaha besar (dalam hal ini pemilik Bank) untuk memperkaya dan menimbun uang (sesuai pendapat J.M. Keynes).

Abstract

This study examines the effect of revenue and profit growth on the stock prices of PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera, Tbk, using financial report data from Bali United from January 2017 to December 2023 with E-Views 12 software. The analysis shows that revenue growth has a significant impact on profit growth (p=0.0127) and stock prices (p<0.0001). Meanwhile, profit growth has a significantly negative effect on stock prices (p=0.0013). The moderation of ownership structure on the relationship between profit growth and stock prices is not directly significant (p=0.4560), but the interaction between profit growth and ownership structure shows marginal significance (coefficient=0.461212, p=0.0931). Furthermore, the Sobel test indicates that profit growth partially mediates the impact of revenue growth on stock prices significantly (Sobel test statistic=2.0268, p=0.0427). This result is supported by the Aroian test (p=0.0468) and Goodman test (p=0.0369). These findings provide new insights into financial literature, particularly in the context of the football industry. Investors value revenue growth and club reputation more than short-term profits. This study reveals that the relationship between revenue growth, profit, and stock prices in the football industry exhibits unique dynamics compared to other sectors, highlighting the distinctive way football economics operates.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how capital market knowledge and investment literacy influence university students’ interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-based investments, with a particular focus on the mediating role of perceived ESG benefits. The research addresses the growing urgency of sustainable finance and the gap in ESG awareness among student investors in Indonesia. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the study collected primary data through a structured online questionnaire distributed to 98 active members of the South Sulawesi Capital Market Study Group Forum (Forum Komunikasi Kelompok Studi Pasar Modal Sulawesi Selatan-FKSS). The data were analysed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS to test both direct and mediating effects between constructs. The results show that both capital market knowledge and investment literacy have a significant positive effect on students' perceptions of ESG benefits and their interest in ESG-based investments. The perceived benefits of ESG investments act as a strong mediating variable, indicating that financial knowledge enhances students’ willingness to engage in sustainable investing when they appreciate its long-term value. These findings suggest the need for enhanced ESG-related financial education in university curricula and greater standardisation in ESG reporting to build trust and understanding among young investors. Policymakers and regulators should collaborate with educational institutions to promote sustainable investment literacy among students. This study offers a novel contribution by focusing on student-level ESG investment behaviour in Indonesia, a demographic underexplored in ESG literature. It highlights the cognitive mechanisms through which financial literacy translates into sustainable investment interest, offering fresh insights into the promotion of responsible investing in emerging markets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kompetitifnya penjualan semen yang dipengaruhi oleh factor merek melalui informasi media social untuk kebutuhan industry maupun rumah tangga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya brand image dan brand awareness terhadap loyalitas pelanggan melalui media sosial. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif digunakan untuk merumuskan dan menganalisa masalah. Populasi penelitian adalah toko resmi Semen Bosowa yang terdapat di kabupaten Sidrap, Kabupaten Enrekang, kabupaten Toraja, Kabupaten Luwu, Kota Palopo, Kabupaten Luwu Utara dan Luwu Timur. Dalam menentukan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling sehingga total sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Kuesioner yang disebar lalu dijadikan sebagai data penelitian untuk dianalisis structural equation model dengan software smart-PLS 4.0.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan t-statistik 3,201>1.35 p-value 0,001<0,05. Brand awareness berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan t-statistik 6,560>1.35 p-value 0,000<0,05. Media sosial signifikan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan dengan t-statistik 5,830>1,35 & p-value 0,000<0,05.  Brand image signifikan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan yang dimediasi media sosial dengan t-statistik 2,609>1,35 p-value 0,009<0,05. Brand awareness signifikan berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas pelanggan yang dimediasi media sosial dengan t-statistik 4,328>1,35 p-value 0,000<0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and occupational health and safety (OHS) on employee performance with work motivation as a mediating variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Manado. The research was motivated by the low Organizational Performance Score (NKO) in 2024 and the occurrence of workplace accidents in the unit. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal explanatory design. A total of 103 permanent employees were selected as the sample using Slovins formula from a population of 186 employees. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least SquaresStructural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that work discipline does not directly affect performance, but it has a significant positive effect on motivation. OHS significantly affects both performance and motivation. Motivation significantly affects performance and mediates the influence of discipline and OHS on performance. The mediation role of motivation is full in the relationship between discipline and performance, and partial in the relationship between OHS and performance. These findings highlight the crucial role of motivation as the main driver of employee performance. Therefore, performance improvement strategies at PLN UP3 Manado should focus on strengthening work discipline, implementing OHS, and enhancing employee motivation.
