Abstract

This study aims to improve the science learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukawati, Gianyar through contextual learning. By involving a sample of 69 people taken by simple random sampling, but what is randomized is the class because it cannot change the classes that have been formed previously. Thus, this study is classified as a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used to collect data is a multiple-choice science learning outcome test that has been tested for validity and reliability coefficient. The data collected has been tested for its prerequisites and is in a normal distribution and has a homogeneous variance so that the hypothesis test with the t-test can be carried out. From the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that the science learning outcomes of students who took contextual learning were better than the science learning outcomes of students who took conventional learning. For that, in order to obtain more optimal science learning outcomes, it is recommended to use contextual learning.

Abstract

The development of Trigona honey bee farming by the Pokdarwis Group in Bukit Jangkrik Village, Gianyar, is still in its early stages toward becoming a productive economic activity. However, several fundamental challenges, such as limited availability of bee feed and insufficient knowledge about honey harvesting techniques, have resulted in low quality and quantity of production. To address these issues, a community service program was conducted from February to May 2025, involving 20 participants from the management and members of the Pokdarwis group. The solutions offered include knowledge and technology transfer through training on Trigona bee feed plant species and demonstration planting on demonstration plots (demplots). The program aims to enrich bee forage sources with sustainable nectar and pollen-producing plant species while enhancing partners' understanding of better honey production strategies. Bukit Jangkrik Village itself possesses ideal ecological potential for Trigona bee development, thereby strongly supporting the program's success. Following the activities, a significant increase in participants' knowledge was observed, with 100% of participants understanding the types of Trigona bee forage plants. This achievement demonstrates that the program has had a tangible impact in enhancing partners' capacity toward productive economic development. Moving forward, this progress is expected to serve as a strong foundation for promoting the sustainability of Trigona honey-based ecotourism and improving community well-being through the utilization of locally available, competitive resources.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of the research is to determine the behavioral tendencies of Balinese people in the millennial era regarding their understanding and behavior in using bamboo for life based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. This type of quantitative descriptive research, data acquisition using survey techniques, on purposive samples throughout Bali. Research data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that in the palemahan field, the tradition of using bamboo materials is still very strong, namely 24.17% very often; often as much as 48.9%, and rarely as much as 21.1%. So as many as 94.1% of people still use bamboo. In the Pawongan sector, especially for medicine, there are still many people who do not know that bamboo material can be used as medicine. From the respondents' answers, 37.41% said they didn't know, or rarely used it. Meanwhile, in the field of parahyangan, the use of bamboo is still very large, namely 100%, meaning that the tradition of using bamboo is still very strong among the Balinese people.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited ability of teachers to integrate Augmented Reality (AR) technology with local spiritual values, which results in low student participation and the suboptimal internalization of character values through culturally based visual learning. Existing learning media tend to be monotonous and one-directional, failing to stimulate students’ learning interest and appreciation for local culture. This research aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the Chaksu Bunga AR-based learning media, which is grounded in the philosophy of Chaksu Indriya. The media not only presents three-dimensional visualizations of flowers but also incorporates Hindu local values in an interactive and visual format. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and involves 46 students as trial subjects. Data were collected through observations, validation questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Instruments included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and achievement tests. The data were analyzed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings indicate that the Chaksu Bunga AR media is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students’ understanding of science concepts and fostering the internalization of character values through a spiritually and aesthetically grounded cultural approach. The study implies the importance of developing contextual learning media that integrates technology and local wisdom as part of 21st-century educational transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) media based on Tri Hita Karana to increasing the creativity of elementary school students and fostering a love for local culture. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the Analysis stage, students’ needs in understanding spatial concepts through culturally based media were identified. The Design stage involved designing the AR Klakat Bali concept, including interactive content and cultural value integration. Next, the Development stage encompassed the creation and expert validation of the media by teachers and professionals using Aiken’s V to ensure content validity. In the Implementation stage, the media was applied in learning at SD Negeri 6 Denpasar, with 46 first-grade students as research subjects. The final stage, Evaluation, assessed practicality and effectiveness using questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative data triangulation to ensure accuracy. The validation results showed that this media had a very high level of validity with an average Aiken's V value of 0.995, indicating that the content, presentation, and characteristics of the application are very suitable for use in learning. In addition, the questionnaire results showed that students had a high interest in using AR Klakat Bali, with an average score of 3.137 on the aspects of interest, loyalty, care, and appreciation of local culture. The use of AR Klakat Bali not only helps students understand the concept of building space in mathematics learning, but also introduces them to the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, which emphasizes the balance of human relationships with God, others, and the environment.

Abstract

Workshop Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency is a village whose population is 80% farmers. Bengkel Village has the largest subak land in Kediri District. Workshop Village is a Tourism Village with very beautiful natural potential and agricultural and cultural activities that are still very well preserved. The workshop village which has a close distance to Tanah lot makes the workshop village a strategic village to introduce rural tourism as well as various Subak activities and Other unspoiled cultural attractions. Bengkel Village is one of the villages that produces black rice with good quality, because the black rice produced in Bengkel Village has advantages with a small sugar content. However, marketing still experiences obstacles in the marketing and labeling process so that it becomes more attractive to be developed in the market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri Berbantuan Komik Digital Terhadap Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Perserta Didik Kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain penelitian Non- Equvalent Control Group Desing. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar yang terdiri dari 4 kelas, yang berjumlah 128 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik random sampling, terpilih dua kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kuantitatif berupa skor kreativitas yang mengunakan metode angket dan hasil belajar biologi dengan mengunakan metode tes. Analisis data mengunakan MANOVA dengan bantuan SPSS 23.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: 1) ada pengaruh strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan komik digital terhadap kreativitas peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar. 2) ada pengaruh strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan komik digital terhadap hasil belajar perserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar. 3) ada pengaruh secara simultan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan komik digital terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar biologi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh strategi pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan komik digital terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar biologi peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian, untuk mengetahui kecendrungan perilaku masyarakat Bali pada era millennial tentang pemahaman dan perilakunya dalam memanfaatkan bambu untuk kehidupan berdasarkan filosofi Tri Hita Karana. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, perolehan data dengan teknik survei, terhadap sampel purposive di seluruh Bali. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan statistic deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam bidang palemahan tradisi pemanfaatan material bambu masih sangat kuat yaitu sebanyak 24.17% sangat sering; sering sebanyak 48,9%, dan jarang sebanyak 21,1%. Jadi sebanyak 94,1% masyarakat masih menggunakan bambu. Bidang pawongan, khususnya untuk pengobatan masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui bahwa material bambu dapat digunakan sebagai obat dari jawaban responden sebanyak 37,41% menyatakan tidak tahu, atau jarang digunakan. Sedangkan pada bidang parahyangan penggunaan bambu masih sangat banyak yaitu sebesar 100%, artinya tradisi penggunaan bambu masih sangat kuat di kalangan masyarakat Bali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar sains siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sukawati, Gianyar melaui pembelajaran kontekstual. Dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 69 orang yang diambil secara simple random sampling, tetapi yang dirandom adalah kelas karena tidak bisa merubah kelas-kelas yang telah terbentuk sebelumnya. Dengan demikian penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Instrument yang digunakan untuk menjaring data adalah tes hasil belajar sains berbentuk pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan koefisien reliabilitasnya. Data yang terkumpul telah diuji prasyaranya dan dalam sebaran normal dan memiliki varians yang homogen sehingga uji hopotesis dengan uji-t bisa dilakukan. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil bahwa hasil belajar sains siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual lebih baik daripada hasil belajar sains siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Utuk itu, agar diperoleh hasil belajar sains yang lebih optimal disarankan untuk menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Sangsit, Buleleng, with the aim of strengthening teachers’ competencies in coding and artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning to support the development of 21st-century skills. The activity was motivated by the challenges faced by teachers who had not yet implemented assessments aligned with the learning steps, such as developing test blueprints and conducting detailed item analyses. In the context of modern education, 21st-century-oriented assessment plays a crucial role as it emphasizes authentic evaluation that integrates critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills. Through this workshop, teachers were guided to understand the concepts of coding and AI-based learning while designing assessments relevant to real-world contexts. The program was successfully implemented with 100% realization, resulting in a significant improvement in teachers’ knowledge and skills. This was evidenced by an increase of 73% between the pretest and posttest scores. Overall, the workshop has made a tangible contribution to enhancing teachers’ digital literacy and preparedness in facing the challenges of 21st-century education.
