Abstract

The importance of food security in national development is an important issue amongall agrees that food security becomes a priority in national development. Distribution systemthat is effective and efficient as the prerequisite to ensure that all households can obtain food inquantity and quality sufficient over time, with reasonable prices. A difference of foodproduction capability between regions and between seasons requires accuracy in managing thedistribution system, so that food is available at all times throughout the region. Study on theanalysis of the stock in the food distribution system aimed at supporting food security system toget a description and identification of food stock of factors that affect the stock in the fooddistribution system. Ishikawa diagram, why-why analysis is used to identify, analyze and solveproblems. This diagram places the problems solved on the right, i.e. the fish head. Factorsidentified as a problem category are placed above and below the framework of the fish whichare connected with arrows. Discussion about the analysis results of the stock in the fooddistribution system in supporting food security comes to a conclusion: Stock food, especiallyrice comes from domestic production and the import of food reserves and the reserves comefrom the government and the community; factors that affect the stock in the food distributionsystem includes production facilities and distribution infrastructure, the condition of geography, logistics management and government regulations

Abstract

The Madurese consumes corn as the primary source of carbohydrates. However, currently, they are experiencing a shift in consumption from corn to rice. The availability of abundant rice causes it. Moreover, another reason is that the process of processing corn requires a relatively long time. The purpose of this research is to develop instant Madura corn rice. The method used in this research is the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Based on the House of Quality matrix obtained 16 attributes of consumer needs, both in terms of products and packaging. The highest Attributes of the needs of consumers are attributes without preservatives for the product aspect and presenting attributes for the packaging aspect. There are 17 attributes of technical requirements needed to meet the attributes of consumer needs. The highest priority technical requirements are the corn type attribute for the product side and the font-size attribute for the packaging aspect. The results of product comparisons with competitors, Madura corn rice products have advantages in the yellow color. Furthermore, It needs to be improved attributes about the texture a little soft.

Abstract

Inventory control is one of the important things of working capital in a company. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) could be decided from the safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in a company. The aim of the research was to know the number of stock and inventory cost savings. The research used EOQ method on controlling the packaging cup 240 ml and carton box to know the amount of safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in PT. XYZ. The result showed that the sum of buying the material based on EOQ method in the 2015, 2016 and 2017.In the 2015 the amount f packaging cup 240ml were 1.492.031 cups, the amount f carton box were 25.164 cartons, in the 2016 the sum of packaging cup 240 ml were 1.492.084 cups, the sum of cartoon box were 24.697 cartons, while in the 2017 the sum of packaging cup were 240 cups. Using the EOQ method can be known that inventory cost savings as the result of the decreasing of the order. Safety stock were around 447.406 for a 240ml cups and 9.319 for cartons box. Maximum inventory based on EOQ method were around 992.445 for 240 ml cups and 20.549 for cartons. Reorder point based on EOQ method were around 860.066 for a 240ml cups and 17.918 for cartons. Keywords: EOQ, inventory control, maximum inventory, reorder point, safety stock

Abstract

The Liquid waste sugar industry can cause pollution in the waters due to contamination, deoxygenation by pollutants and strong odors caused by biodegradation of waste in the form of hydrogen sulfide gas. Liquid sugar industry wastes can increase the levels of BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), and TSS (Total Suspended Solid) in the waters so that handling of these wastes is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence each stage of the waste treatment process so that wastewater treatment can run effectively and efficiently. The results showed that the factors that could influence the purification of liquid waste were pH, temperature, discharge of wastewater, and active sludge content. The pH value of inlet of wastewater that can be tolerated is between 7-9 with a maximum temperature of 40ºC with a debitt of wastewater in the aeration pond a maximum of 120 m3 / hour and a condition of active sludge volume of 30-40%..

Abstract

Suppliers are the main chain that greatly affects the production activities of a company, so it is necessary to select suppliers to support the production process and get results according to the wishes of the company. The purpose of this research is to get the criteria and sub-criteria for selecting alternative rice suppliers and getting the best rice suppliers at PT. AXC. Selection of alternative rice suppliers using the ANP (Analytical Network Process) method. In this study, criteria as analysis material obtained include quality, responsibility, price, flexibility, service, accuracy, and packaging. The results showed that the criteria with the highest weighting were quality (0.139764), price (0.069145), service (0.046673), accuracy (0.031577), packaging (0.017274), responsibility (0.011191) , and flexibility (0.010975). The results showed the best supplier with the highest priority order was PT. BC (0.186483), PT. BAS (0.101924), and PT. PAJ (0.038192).

Abstract

Distribution is a process of delivering products from producers to consumers. The distribution process determines the selling price and improves the product, therefore determining the distribution route becomes important. at this time Stockist PT. XYZ determine the distribution route in the order of ordering from the store. The purpose of this study is to minimize distribution costs so as to increase profits. The nearest neighbor algorithm is one of the algorithms in Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) that is used to determine the route in the distribution process based on proximity. The results of this study, the nearest neighbor algorithm can help the cost of PT. XYZ was 39.18% on March 5, 2019 and 0.82% on March 6, 2019.

Abstract

An industry's supply chain system must be intensely improved to improve the company's performance. Factors that influence a performance are reliability, responsiveness, agility or flexibility, cost and assets. The performance of milk fish supply chain at UD TBS has not yet been measured by the performance of each distributor, so it is not yet known how effective the performance of the supply chain and the factors that can affect its performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the performance of milk fish supply chains and DMU values by the DEA method. The results showed that the most influential factor was cash-to-cash cycle time (the time needed by the distributor to the company in ordering milkfish. The effectiveness value of 20 distributors was obtained 85% effective (green) and 10% ineffective (amber) and 5% ineffective (red).
