Abstract

The importance of food security in national development is an important issue amongall agrees that food security becomes a priority in national development. Distribution systemthat is effective and efficient as the prerequisite to ensure that all households can obtain food inquantity and quality sufficient over time, with reasonable prices. A difference of foodproduction capability between regions and between seasons requires accuracy in managing thedistribution system, so that food is available at all times throughout the region. Study on theanalysis of the stock in the food distribution system aimed at supporting food security system toget a description and identification of food stock of factors that affect the stock in the fooddistribution system. Ishikawa diagram, why-why analysis is used to identify, analyze and solveproblems. This diagram places the problems solved on the right, i.e. the fish head. Factorsidentified as a problem category are placed above and below the framework of the fish whichare connected with arrows. Discussion about the analysis results of the stock in the fooddistribution system in supporting food security comes to a conclusion: Stock food, especiallyrice comes from domestic production and the import of food reserves and the reserves comefrom the government and the community; factors that affect the stock in the food distributionsystem includes production facilities and distribution infrastructure, the condition of geography,logistics management and government regulations

Abstract

The Madurese consumes corn as the primary source of carbohydrates. However, currently, they are experiencing a shift in consumption from corn to rice. The availability of abundant rice causes it. Moreover, another reason is that the process of processing corn requires a relatively long time. The purpose of this research is to develop instant Madura corn rice. The method used in this research is the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. Based on the House of Quality matrix obtained 16 attributes of consumer needs, both in terms of products and packaging. The highest Attributes of the needs of consumers are attributes without preservatives for the product aspect and presenting attributes for the packaging aspect. There are 17 attributes of technical requirements needed to meet the attributes of consumer needs. The highest priority technical requirements are the corn type attribute for the product side and the font-size attribute for the packaging aspect. The results of product comparisons with competitors, Madura corn rice products have advantages in the yellow color. Furthermore, It needs to be improved attributes about the texture a little soft.

Abstract

Inventory control is one of the important things of working capital in a company. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) could be decided from the safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in a company. The aim of the research was to know the number of stock and inventory cost savings. The research used EOQ method on controlling the packaging cup 240 ml and carton box to know the amount of safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in PT. XYZ. The result showed that the sum of buying the material based on EOQ method in the 2015, 2016 and 2017.In the 2015 the amount f packaging cup 240ml were 1.492.031 cups, the amount f carton box were 25.164 cartons, in the 2016 the sum of packaging cup 240 ml were 1.492.084 cups, the sum of cartoon box were 24.697 cartons, while in the 2017 the sum of packaging cup were 240 cups. Using the EOQ method can be known that inventory cost savings as the result of the decreasing of the order. Safety stock were around 447.406 for a 240ml cups and 9.319 for cartons box. Maximum inventory based on EOQ method were around 992.445 for 240 ml cups and 20.549 for cartons. Reorder point based on EOQ method were around 860.066 for a 240ml cups and 17.918 for cartons. Abstract

Herbal medicine agro-industry has experienced ups and downs in its development, the movement back to nature makes herbal medicine agro-industry has developed quite rapidly. This study aimed to determine the structure and factors that influence and determine the strategy of herbal medicine agro-industry development in East Java. The method used was OLS (Ordinary Least Square) and Backward method using secondary data, as well as the concentration ratio and PCM (Price Cost Margin) proxy. The results showed that the industrial market structure was tight oligopoly with an average concentration ratio of 76.22%. Influencing factors were market concentration, barriers to market entry, a value of efficiency and number of companies, while the strategy developed was to streamline raw material costs by implementing multiple supplier policies

Abstract

Wingko is one of Indonesian Snack from Babat of Lamongan Regency which is produced by UMKM Klapa Muda. Compete makes the production unstable, even decreased. Right now UMKM Klapa Muda must develop rapidly, because there are already many competitors selling similar products. In this study using the Business Model Canvas Development that is assisted using the Internal factor Evaluation matrix, External Factor Evaluation, Internal-External, SWOT matrix analysis, and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matriks) analysis. For the weighting stage, 5th priority strategies used for market penetration and product development by applying Business Model Canvas (BMC) concept to UMKM Klapa Muda Babat strategy, it is 1) Customer Relationship Increasing promote activities with a value of 2,401, 2) Customer Segments establish customer loyalty with a value of 2,386, 3) Value Proposition guarantees production quality and mproves products with a value of 2.24, 4) Channels has a relationship with the government with a value of 2,015, 5) Key Resources Development of machine and equipment technology with a value of 1,308.

Abstract

An industry's supply chain system must be intensely improved to improve the company's performance. Factors that influence a performance are reliability, responsiveness, agility or flexibility, cost and assets. The performance of milk fish supply chain at UD TBS has not yet been measured by the performance of each distributor, so it is not yet known how effective the performance of the supply chain and the factors that can affect its performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the performance of milk fish supply chains and DMU values by the DEA method. The results showed that the most influential factor was cash-to-cash cycle time (the time needed by the distributor to the company in ordering milkfish. The effectiveness value of 20 distributors was obtained 85% effective (green) and 10% ineffective (amber) and 5% ineffective (red).

Abstract

Madura Island is known as the island with agro climatic conditions are quite extreme. This condition affects the genius and plant populations that exist and the impact on animal life in these ecosystems. Ranch as one of the agricultural sector with a strategic position, as a provider of animal protein. Madura Island has an advantage in the field of cattle breeding typical Madura. The purpose of this study is assessing alternative commodity ecosystem chain efficiency improvements especially cattle cow Madura. The method used is descriptive method of analysis. The results showed a 7 supporting the plant ecosystem sustainability and development of cattle breeding Madura ie ecosystems rice, maize, soybeans, peanuts, green beans, cassava and sweet potatoes. Each ecosystem has the potential of different crops in each district to be integrated with the development of cattle breeding Madura.

Abstract

Madura has typical cassava-based food products including cassava chips, raw tette chips and fried tette chips produced by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The production process of the three products varies and produces different environmental impacts. This study aims to evaluate and compare environmental impact assessments in the production of raw tette chips and fried tette chips using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) approach. This study evaluates the product life cycle from the procurement of raw materials until the product is consumed. The results showed that fried tette chips had a lower environmental impact than raw tette chips per 500 gram basis. Climate change, photochemical oxidation and eutrophication are environmental impacts identified in this study. The results of this study are expected to get a comprehensive environmental footprint of the product system with respect to sustainable production and consumption.

Abstract

The lumpia dowo industry is an industry that produces spring rolls with various flavors and has 26 agents. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, sales have decreased, so it is necessary to research the strategy of selling dowo spring rolls. One approach that can be done is to add new agents. The method used in this research is Analytical Network Process because this method can determine the best alternative agent location by displaying the ranking priority order. The results of this study indicate that there are several clusters, namely market potential, accessibility, labor, marketing reach, trust. The new agent has three alternative locations, namely Lamongan, Jombang, Bojonegoro, and Malang. The analysis results show that Jombang is the first best alternative with a value of 1, Lamongan 0.600, Malang 0.474, and Bojonegoro 0.423. So that by establishing a new agent in Jombang City, you can increase the sales of spring rolls.

Abstract

Cookies atau biasa masyarakat Indonesia menyebutnya kue kering merupakan salah satu makanan ringan. Tepung kulit tauge kacang hijau dan tepung tempe dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembuatan cookies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisikokimia, dan kelayakan finansial produk cookies kombinasi bahan baku tepung kulit tauge kacang hijau dengan tepung tempe.Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 faktor proporsi tepungkulit tauge kacang hijau dan tepung tempe dengan level sebagai berikut A (20:70), B (40:50), C (60:30), D (80:10), E (70:20), F (50:40), G (30:60), H (10:80). Karakteristik fisik menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kekerasan (hardness) berkisar dari 1,61-3,90 gf.. Karakteristik kimiawi cookies tepung kulit tauge dan tepung tempe menunjukkan bahwa kadar air berkisar 2,63-5,83, kadar protein berkisar 2,84-6,07 % dan kadar serat berkisar 34,93-75,68%. Proporsi tepung kulit tauge dan tepung tempe berpengaruh nyata (p kurang dari 0,05) terhadap hardness, rasa, warna, tekstur, aroma dan kesukaan keseluruhan. Hasil analisis financial usaha cookies tepung kulit tauge dan tepung tempe didapatkan nilai BEP Rp 10.797, nilai NPVRp 186.645.349, payback periode 1 tahun 4 bulan bulan dan Net B/C 1,85.Kata kunci: Cookies, tepung kulit tauge, tempe. Identification of Physicochemistry and Financial Analysis of Skin Flour Green Cookies and Tempe FlourABSTRACTCookies is one of a snack product. Mung bean husk flour and soybean cake flour can be used as the ingredient in making cookies. This study aims to determine the physicochemical characteristics and feasibility studies of cookies. The research method used in this study was a Randomized Group Design (RGD) with 2 factors: the proportion of mung bean husk flour and soybean cake flour by the following levels: A (20:70), B (40:50), C (60:30), D (80:10), E (70:20), F (50:40), G (30:60), H (10:80). The physical characteristics showed that the hardness level of the cookies ranges from 1,61-3,90 gf. The chemical characteristics of the mung bean husk flour and soybean cake flour cookies showed that the moisture content was range 2,63-5,83%, the protein content is in range 2,84-6,07%, and the fiber content is in range 34,93-75,68%. The proportion of mung bean husk flour and soybean cake flour significantly influenced (p less than 0,05) the hardness level, taste, color, texture, smells and the overall contentment of the cookies. The results of the financial feasibility test showed that BEP was Rp 10.797, positive NPV (Rp 186.645.349), faster payback period (16 months), and Net B/C value was 1.85 which suggests (Net B/C more than 1)Keywords: cookies, soybean flour, tempe.
