Abstract

Concentrates on utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach to improve the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of an information system designed for mangrove forest conservation. Mangrove ecosystems are essential for coastal defense, biodiversity, and carbon storage. Nonetheless, insufficient access to information frequently impeded community involvement in mangrove conservation. The research tackles this deficiency by creating a user-centric information system that amalgamates environmental data, cartographic representations, and educational materials concerning the mangroves of Desa Kota Pari. RAD was selected for its iterative and adaptable characteristics, facilitating ongoing stakeholder feedback and expedited development cycles relative to conventional models. The study delineates a multi-phase Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing requirements elicitation, prototyping, and user evaluation to develop a functioning and user-friendly system. By engaging end-users, including local authorities, conservationists, and community members during the development process, the system's UI/UX was tailored to address the distinct requirements of its audience, facilitating usability and the clear conveyance of intricate ecological data. Preliminary responses from usability assessments indicated a notable enhancement in user engagement and comprehension of mangrove conservation initiatives. The Mangrove Forest Information System demonstrates that the RAD technique is highly effective in developing interactive and user-centric environmental information systems, particularly in contexts requiring swift adaptation to user requirements. This approach improves community involvement and supports the sustainability of mangrove ecosystems.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, trade is essential for a country to boost its economy, including both micro and macro trade. The development of MSMEs requires MSME actors to be ready to compete with other businesses. This pushes MSME entrepreneurs to continuously innovate by creating unique, superior products; in addition, MSMEs are expected to have sound financial management. This study employs an associative research method with multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between accounting knowledge, accounting information utilization, and financial inclusion on the business development of Bank BRI KCP Pagesangan Unit clients. Based on multiple linear regression analysis results, it is concluded that accounting knowledge, accounting information utilization, and financial inclusion significantly influence business development. Accounting knowledge has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on business development, while accounting information utilization also plays an important role in supporting business development. Additionally, financial inclusion has a significant impact on client business development. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Bank BRI KCP Pagesangan Unit prioritize training and outreach programs on accounting knowledge, accounting information utilization, and the importance of financial inclusion for their clients. By enhancing clients' understanding and skills in accounting, they can more effectively manage their finances and make better business decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan kualitas informasi produk dan kualitas layanan produk dalam mempengaruhi minat beli konsumen di Toko Joban Kurma. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang pernah berbelanja di Toko Joban Kurma yang dipilih secara acak. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi untuk mengukur sejauh mana kualitas informasi produk dan kualitas layanan produk mempengaruhi minat beli konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel yaitu kualitas informasi produk dan kualitas layanan produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen. Kualitas informasi produk yang meliputi kejelasan deskripsi produk, keakuratan informasi, dan tersedianya detail produk yang relevan terbukti dapat meningkatkan keyakinan konsumen dan membantu mereka dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian. Di sisi lain, kualitas layanan produk yang meliputi aspek-aspek seperti kecepatan layanan, keramahan staf, dan kemudahan proses transaksi juga menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen. Semakin baik pengalaman yang dirasakan konsumen dalam hal layanan, maka semakin tinggi pula kemungkinan konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian ulang atau merekomendasikan toko tersebut kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pengelola Toko Joban Kurma dan pelaku usaha ritel pada umumnya untuk lebih memperhatikan kedua aspek tersebut dalam upaya meningkatkan daya tarik produk dan layanannya di mata konsumen. Abstract

Keamanan Informasi Elektronik ini kini sudah menjadi hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh seluruh perusahaan agar aset penting perusahaan tetap terjaga dan mendapatkan kepercayaan dari pelanggan atau klien. Dalam operasional sehari-hari, banyak aktivitas dan data pribadi yang dikirimkan ke perusahaan untuk melakukan transaksi. Akan tetapi, belum banyak perusahaan yang memiliki kesadaran akan keamanan informasi, yang apabila tidak dilakukan akan merugikan perusahaan. Selain itu, dapat menurunkan nilai kompetitif karena dinilai tidak mampu melindungi data pribadi pelanggan atau klien. Setiap kebocoran data dan pelanggaran keamanan informasi dapat merusak reputasi organisasi [1]. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memiliki ISMS yang efektif sesuai dengan standar ISO 27001:2022 yang merupakan standar keamanan informasi internasional yang telah diterapkan pada banyak perusahaan di seluruh dunia. ISO 27001:2022, standar internasional untuk manajemen keamanan informasi, memberikan panduan dan persyaratan yang jelas untuk membangun, menerapkan, dan memelihara sistem keamanan informasi yang efektif. Dalam makalah ini, penulis akan menilai tingkat kematangan sistem manajemen keamanan informasi berdasarkan ISO 27001: 2022. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, perusahaan masih mampu mencapai standar ISO 27001:2022 dan Index KAMI. Beberapa perbaikan harus dilakukan untuk mencapai tingkat kematangan minimum III+ dari penilaian Index KAMI. Selain itu, berdasarkan ISO/IEC 27001:2022, skor hasil yang diperoleh adalah 39% yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar perusahaan belum menerapkan prosedur apa pun dan beberapa kontrol telah diterapkan. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi perbaikan diperlukan bagi perusahaan, mulai dari penerapan kebijakan dan prosedur terkait manajemen keamanan informasi.

Abstract

Drying fruits has many advantages for consumers, such as allowing them to be consumed in various processes and products during all seasons. Freeze-dried strawberries (FDS) are an alternative for adding value to fresh strawberries, extending shelf life, and maintaining fresh fruit characteristics. The study contributed to determine the quality physical characteristics of FDS produced using osmotic dehydration (OD) combined with freeze-drying. A combination of FDSs production with three factors and levels, freezing times (4d, 14d, and 21d); OD solution concentrations (40°Brix, 50°Brix, and 60°Brix); cleavage times (initial, pre-OD, and post-OD); immersion times of 120 minutes; and lyophilization times of 24 hours were used to prepare FDS. The quality of physical information of FDSs was the color of the skinned fruit (L*a*b* and change of color (∆E)) and texture. The results of the study showed that the highest degree of L* and a* values were found in the combination of 14d, 50°Brix, post-OD; the lowest b* value was found in the combination of 21d, 40°Brix, initial split; the lowest ∆E value and the highest FDSs skin texture was found in the combination of 4d, 60°Brix, pre-OD. As an innovation, since no official Indonesian National Standard (SNI) is used as a reference for producing FDS, the research contributes to making good FDS products.

Abstract

Healthcare workers in the Surakarta region still face challenges in understanding and operating the Hospital Management Information System, which impacts work efficiency and service quality. This program aims to enhance the competencies of healthcare workers through education and training based on lectures, simulations, and evaluations via pre-test and post-test assessments. The community service method included delivering lecture materials, practical training with case simulations, and evaluating participants' comprehension improvements. The results show that the average pre-test score was 58, while the post-test score increased significantly to 85, reflecting a 46.6% improvement. Understanding of Hospital Management Information System concepts improved from 62 to 85, mastery of basic features from 58 to 88, and data analysis skills from 54 to 82. A total of 95% of participants found the training relevant and effective, while 89% expressed confidence in using Hospital Management Information System. Feedback from participants and hospitals indicated that the training successfully contributed to administrative efficiency and prepared healthcare workers for digital transformation.

Abstract

The Accounting Information System (SIA) is an important component in supporting the running of a business, especially in simplifying the financial recording process. The use of SIA can provide various benefits and convenience for its users. However, among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the use of SIA is still relatively low, due to various factors. This study aims to test and analyze the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on the use of SIA in MSMEs, by integrating Islamic economic values such as fairness, efficiency, and transparency in financial management. These values play an important role in encouraging users to choose a system that not only facilitates the work process, but is also in line with sharia principles. This study uses primary data obtained through surveys, as well as secondary data from the Tegal Regency Cooperatives, SMEs, and Trade Office. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents who were MSME actors in Tegal Regency, with a sampling technique using the purposive sampling method. The independent variables in this study were perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness partially had a positive and significant effect on the use of SIA. Simultaneously, these two variables also affect the use of SIA. The integration of Islamic economic values in the use of SIA has the potential to increase the awareness and commitment of MSME actors to a more efficient and transparent system, in accordance with Islamic principles

Abstract

Financial statements are deemed to be of high quality when they are relevant, comparable, understandable, and reliable. The implementation of an accounting information system significantly contributes to ensuring the production of reports that are effective, relevant, efficient, and accurate. Without integrating an internal control system into the accounting information system, its benefits may be limited. The primary objective of establishing an accounting internal control system is to generate reliable financial reports, thereby ensuring the production of high-quality financial statements. This research investigates the impact of Accounting Internal Control on the Quality of Financial Statements in the Batam City Government, with the Accounting Information System serving as an intervening variable. The study's sample includes 155 employees working in the finance department across various SKPK (regional government work units) in the Batam City Government. The analysis was conducted using AMOS version 22.0. The findings reveal that Accounting Internal Control has a positive and significant influence on both the Accounting Information System and the Quality of the Batam City Government's Financial Statements. Moreover, the Accounting Information System mediates the relationship between Accounting Internal Control and the quality of financial statements.

Abstract

Hasco Stationery Store, located on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan Km 09, is a business specializing in printing and office stationery sales. Effective management of stock availability, purchasing, and sales processes is crucial to meeting customer needs. Prior to implementing an integrated information system, inventory management at the store was performed manually by employees, who relied on estimates and experience to record stock, check inventory, and place purchase orders. This manual approach proved inefficient and prone to errors, including inaccurate stock calculations, recording mistakes, and data loss. To address these challenges, this study employed the waterfall development method to design and implement a web-based inventory information system aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management processes. Data were collected through interviews with the store owner, direct observations, and analysis of relevant documents, supplemented by a literature review on stock management principles and information system development. The resulting system simplifies stock management, reduces errors, and improves overall operational efficiency, providing a robust solution for inventory management at the Hasco Stationery Store.

Abstract

This paper attempts to find the right concept to overcome the significant challenges related to environmental quality degradation due to development activities in the port area. Environmental damage, including the impact of port development, has become an increasingly pressing global issue. To face this challenge, countries are trying to integrate sustainability principles through the application of the Port Sustainability concept, with an emphasis on the digitalization of information technology. This approach aims to increase port operational efficiency, minimize excessive use of resources, and ensure environmental sustainability and port operations in the long term.Methodology/approach - research method using Conceptual Framework Development. Where researchers try to analyze the literature on sustainable ports, environmental management, and information technology as key elements in sustainable port operations. The result is a conceptual framework that can be used as a basis for implementing further research. Findings – This research presents a theoretical framework and serves as a basis for further research that will analyze the influence of environmental management on sustainable port operations, the impact of environmental management on information technology development, the relationship between information technology development and the sustainability of port operations, as well as the mediating role of information technology in relation to environmental management and sustainability of port operations The novelty/value of this research concept includes the mediation of information technology in relation to environmental management and the sustainability of port operations, especially port operations, where little research has been carried out.
