Abstract

Education plays a vital role in human life, serving as a means to achieve a high quality of life. Within the realm of formal education, higher education holds particular significance in enhancing the human resources of a nation and contributing to their continual improvement. The objective of this service initiative is to provide comprehensive information on the official college selection process and deliver training through entrance examination questionnaires, enabling participants to better equip themselves for the official college entrance examinations. This community service endeavor primarily utilizes socialization and facilitates access to official school information, achieved through collaboration with external service partners. Specifically, the "Neutron" tutoring institution in Pekalongan acts as a dedicated partner, actively engaging in discussions concerning official school entrance examination questions. The activity drew participation from 114 students representing various schools in Pekalongan. The outcomes of the community service activities showcased a high level of enthusiasm among the participants, evident in their positive response and active engagement throughout the program. This positive response was demonstrated by the participants' enthusiastic completion of practice questions, thereby reinforcing their preparation for the official college entrance examinations. Information dissemination and provision of practice questions aim to empower participants to adequately prepare for their future academic pursuits.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the Effect of Human Resource Competence and Information Technology Utilization on Employee Performance with Organizational Culture as a Moderation Variable at Amanjiwo Resort in Magelang.. This type of research is quantitative research. The data in this study are primary and secondary data in the form of questionnaires given to 91 respondents and the results of interviews with the Human Resource Manager of Amanjiwo Resort. The population of this study were all employees at Amanjiwo Resort, totaling 117 people. The sampling technique used was a random sampling technique with cluster random sampling with a sample of 91 people. The method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The analysis technique used is the PLS SEM method in the form of outer model analysis and inner model analysis. The results of this study indicate tha t: 1.Human resource competence has a positive effect on employee performance at Amanjiwo Resort, 2.Utilization of information technology has a positive effect on employee performance at Amanjiwo Resort, 3.Organizational culture does not moderate the influence of human resource competence on employee performance, 4.Organizational culture does not moderate the effect of using information technology on employee performance.

Abstract

Cross Language Information Retrieval (CLIR) stands as an essential element in multilingual information accessibility, enabling users to obtain relevant information even when the query language and the language of the documents diverge. This paper proposes a translation framework for CLIR in Tamil and Malayalam, two Dravidian languages widely spoken in South India. Different challenges prevail in CLIR of these languages due to their linguistic differences, translation equivalence, mapping source to target languages, semantic equivalence, limited dataset and tools for ongoing research in this domain. The proposed methodology resolves some of the issues around training of a corpus utilizing a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) based encoder-decoder translation model. The study incorporates two bilingual parallel corpora comprising 373 sentences pairs each. Evaluation of the model's accuracy is conducted by equivalency its translations against reference translations using the Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU Score). Furthermore, BLEU scores obtained from proposed LSTM-based encoder-decoder model is compared with those from Google Translate. The findings reveal that the LSTM model attains an average BLEU score of 0.933, where, performance of Google Translate, achieved a score of 0.813. Finally, the study conducts a comparative analysis with selected CLIR models in different languages, to evaluate the overall performance of the proposed approach.

Abstract

This paper aims to apply the weight selection feature by considering the Gain Ratio value in the decision tree algorithm in classifying student academic scores. We determine the feature selection from the gain ratio based on the split value information to reduce the feature's (attribute) bias value. The highest Gain Ratio' value will be the root of the branching in the tree in which becomes a determining feature (attribute) of student graduation. We use 82 data which are divide into two classes called a pass and a not pass. From the data, we know that the attribute ip smt 7 got the highest gain ratio value with 0.581. On the other hand, the multimedia introduction attribute got the lowest gain ratio value with 0.070. The calculation model using cross-validation with a value of k = 5 resulted in optimal performance. The resulting accuracy is 79.19% and AUC 0.778 using the decision tree algorithm. The threshold value of the gain ratio used is 1.00 so that four attributes are not used in this paper. feature selection using weights with information gain ratio will select the attribute selection process to be built in the model.

Abstract

Bawang merah (Allium cepa var. aggregatum) merupakan komoditas hortikultura strategis dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi di Indonesia, namun usahataninya memiliki tingkat risiko yang signifikan baik dari aspek produksi maupun pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi petani terhadap risiko usahatani bawang merah berdasarkan sumber informasi yang digunakan serta pengalaman bertani. Studi dilakukan di Desa Kedungdowo, Kecamatan Nganjuk, Kabupaten Nganjuk yang merupakan salah satu sentra produksi bawang merah di Jawa Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 47 petani aktif yang telah menjalankan usahatani bawang merah minimal tiga musim tanam. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi berdasarkan sumber informasi (penyuluh, kelompok tani, dan media sosial), serta uji korelasi Spearman untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengalaman bertani dengan persepsi risiko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam persepsi risiko berdasarkan sumber informasi, dan tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengalaman bertani dengan persepsi risiko. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi risiko petani tidak dipengaruhi oleh lamanya pengalaman bertani maupun jenis sumber informasi yang digunakan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pendekatan lain yang lebih kontekstual dalam mengedukasi petani, termasuk peningkatan kapasitas melalui pelatihan, penyuluhan berbasis digital, serta penguatan kelembagaan lokal dalam mitigasi risiko usahatani hortikultura.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the e-Pusdik Information System and its impact on the quality of educational services at the Center for Pancasila and Constitutional Education (Pusdik Pancasila dan Konstitusi). The research employs a quantitative descriptive method using the Human–Organization–Technology Fit (HOT-Fit) model, which assesses the interrelationship between technological quality, user satisfaction, and organizational support in determining system effectiveness. Data were collected from educators, administrative staff, and system users through structured questionnaires and interviews to measure system reliability, service accessibility, and user responsiveness. Statistical analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential techniques to evaluate correlations among variables representing system quality, information quality, service quality, and overall performance. The results indicate that the e-Pusdik system has been effectively implemented in supporting academic administration and learning management, although several aspects—such as data integration, user training, and interface efficiency—require continuous improvement. The study concludes that the success of e-Pusdik implementation depends not only on technological adequacy but also on user competence and institutional readiness to adopt digital transformation practices in education management. These findings highlight the importance of aligning technological innovation with organizational capacity to achieve sustainable quality improvement in educational institutions.

Abstract

The Education Management Information System (EMIS) plays a vital role in improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of data management within educational institutions. As a centralized and integrated data platform, EMIS serves as a foundation for data collection, validation, and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making in education management. This study aims to examine the conceptual framework and urgency of implementing EMIS as a strategic tool for managing institutional data within the context of Islamic education under Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs. Using a qualitative research approach through a systematic literature review, this study synthesizes findings from books, policy documents, and journal articles on the development, functions, and challenges of EMIS implementation. The results show that EMIS functions as a single data gateway that consolidates institutional, academic, financial, and human resource information from various levels of education, including Raudhatul Athfal (preschool), Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (elementary), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (junior secondary), and Madrasah Aliyah (senior secondary). The use of EMIS facilitates faster, more accurate, and verifiable data processing, thus enhancing administrative performance and the quality of decision-making. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the legal and institutional framework supporting EMIS, including national regulations on data transparency and public information management. The research concludes that integrating EMIS into educational governance can promote data-driven policies, ensure accountability, and strengthen the overall management of Islamic educational institutions. This finding underscores the importance of advancing digital literacy, human resources, and system interoperability to optimize EMIS as a sustainable educational data management tool.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kinerja algoritma Naive Bayes (NB) dalam menangani independensi fitur menggunakan metode Forward Selection, Information Gain, dan Gain Ratio. Naive Bayes merupakan algoritma klasifikasi yang sering digunakan karena efisiensi komputasinya yang tinggi, namun sering mengalami penurunan performa ketika ada ketergantungan antar fitur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan menerapkan beberapa algoritma, yakni Naive Bayes, Forward Selection Naive Bayes (FSNB), Forward Selection Information Gain Naive Bayes (FSIGNB), dan Forward Selection Information Gain Ratio Naive Bayes (FSIGRNB) pada dataset berdimensi tinggi. Metode validasi yang digunakan adalah 10-fold cross validation untuk mengukur akurasi setiap algoritma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma FSNB dan FSIGNB berhasil meningkatkan akurasi secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan algoritma NB standar. FSNB memiliki akurasi rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 81,124%, diikuti oleh FSIGNB dan FSIGRNB. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan metode Forward Selection, Information Gain, dan Gain Ratio dapat meningkatkan akurasi klasifikasi Naive Bayes, terutama dalam dataset dengan dimensi fitur yang tinggi, serta memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan algoritma untuk menangani independensi fitur.

Abstract

Human life with all its activities cannot be separated from the existence of waste but the quality of post-consumption waste is generally still low. To convert waste into a more stable form and does not pollute the environment, it is required a precise waste collection system. Waste collection system is an important part of waste management. This study is proposed a geographic information system (GIS) application based on google maps Application Programming Interface (API) to map waste collection point using Haversine formula method. The application is designed to develop a waste collection system from households to Temporary Disposal Sites (TDS), quickly and accurately. The application can be used by households and waste taxi bike drivers to communicate when the households need the taxi bike drivers to pick the waste up to the temporary collection points. A geographic information system application based on google maps API used to display the location of the taxi bike driver, TDS and the location of the waste collection (household). Haversine formula is used to get the nearest waste taxi bike driver to the location of the request for waste transportation. The result of this research is an application that can monitor and track waste collection. Using black box testing, the system has run according to the functions and scenarios designed. Based on the testing the system usability scale results, the application obtains a score of 70.125 which indicates that the application is classified as good and acceptable to users.
