Abstract

This study analyzes the information literacy skills of the community based on the Empowering Eight model at the SNC Fannaz civilization house in Sei Mencirim Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The aim was to determine the community's literacy skills based on the Empowering Eight model. The method used was a survey and questionnaire with descriptive statistical data analyses. The results of the study showed that based on the calculations of the Grand Meanon eight model indicators of Empowering Eight (E8), the information literacy skills of the members of the SNC Fannaz Civilization House showed very optimal achievements and were in the very high category for all aspects. Mastery of the Search and Assessment Stages (Identify, Explore, Select, Access): The four indicators with the highest average values (3.49 - 3.58) are Explore (3,49), Select (3,58), Present (3.54), and Access (3.50). This shows that members have a very strong ability to seek information from various sources (Explore), select and evaluate the most relevant information (Select and Access), and effectively present their findings (Present). The achievement of the management and utilization stages (Organize, Create, Apply) was measured by the indicators Organize (3,36), Apply (3.27), and Create (3.11). Although Create (3.11) is the lowest value among all indicators, it is still in the very-high category. This shows that the ability of members to create new information products from existing sources is the aspect that needs the most improvement, but fundamentally, it is still very good.

Abstract

Universitas Brawijaya, a state university that previously operated as a Public Service Agency (Badan Layanan Umum), officially transformed into a Legal Entity State University (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbadan Hukum, PTN-BH) in October 2021. This change in institutional status granted the university the autonomous authority to formulate and enact internal regulations, including those governing the procurement of goods and services. In exercising such authority, Universitas Brawijaya has enacted several Rector Regulations regulating the procurement of goods and services, inter alia, Rector Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 98 of 2021 as amended by Rector Regulation Number 106 of 2022, as well as Rector Regulation Number 36 of 2022 concerning the Technical Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods/Services. Efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of goods and services procurement management have been pursued through the implementation of an electronic procurement system utilizing the Electronic Procurement Service Information System (Silapetro). Nevertheless, after nearly three years of implementation, various issues remain evident in terms of the regulatory framework and the practical execution of goods and services procurement at Universitas Brawijaya. Based on these circumstances, this study aims to examine and analyze the effectiveness of the regulation of goods and services procurement through Silapetro as an instrument for implementing the principles of Good University Governance at Universitas Brawijaya. This research employs a normative juridical method with a qualitative juridical approach, focusing on the analysis of primary legal materials, particularly Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018, as amended by Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021, as well as the relevant Rector Regulations governing goods and services procurement at Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a systematic or analytical web-based integrated inventory information system for PT. Asia Persada Nusantara, analytical used by PIECES framework. Based on a case-study approach, both with the SDLC methodology with a prototyping model, the requisite data were acquired by a complete review of documents and by conducting interviews with stakeholders. The Object Oriented Tool Development was modeled using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to define the functional and non-functional requirements. The resultant design captures role-based authentication, stock reservation systems, processing of goods receipts including the processing of delivery notes, keeping of discrepancies, payment and reconciliation systems, and role-based audit trails as a way of enforcing operational control. The shared schema of the relational database using ERD supports the atomic transactions of the key turbines (reservation, transaction creation, commitment) and helps to reduce the risk of overselling and information inconsistency. It is proposed that a staged implementation plan (Minimum Viable Product) should be used with an initial focus on real-time inventory and reservation logic to achieve more immediate operations payoffs. The indicators of future improvement in stock accuracy and process efficiency are stated by impact assessment, whereas the real benefits depend on piloting testing, initial data quality, and organizational readiness. This research provides a technical map that is suitable for developing prototypes and validating them empirically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Supply Chain Integration and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems on Operational Performance with Supply Chain Risk as a mediating variable. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The study population is MSMEs in the food & beverage sector in one of the districts in Medan City. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and obtained 42 respondents with questionnaires eligible to be tested. The research data is primary data collected through questionnaire distribution and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques based on a mediation model or MRA, with direct and indirect effects testing using the Sobel test. The results revealed that simultaneously the variables Supply Chain Integration and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems affect Operational Performance, but partially only the Supply Chain Integration variable affects Operational Performance. The mediation test showed that Supply Chain Integration and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems have a negative effect on Supply Chain Risk. This indicates that increasing Supply Chain Integration and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems can reduce exposure to Supply Chain Risk. However, Supply Chain Risk cannot mediate the relationship between Supply Chain Integration and the Quality of Accounting Information Systems on Operational Performance. These findings demonstrate that operational performance in MSMEs is improved more through the influence of supply chain integration and the quality of accounting information systems than through supply chain risk mitigation mechanisms.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, has transformed the way students complete academic tasks, especially in the field of Information Technology. Despite its widespread adoption, concerns remain regarding its impact on students’ productivity and learning quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of ChatGPT usage on the productivity of students in the Information Technology Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut. A quantitative research approach with a survey method was employed. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to active students who had used ChatGPT for academic purposes. The collected data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, followed by simple linear regression analysis to examine the effect of ChatGPT usage on student productivity. The results indicate that ChatGPT usage has a positive and significant effect on student productivity. Productivity improvements are mainly observed in task efficiency and timely task completion. However, the quality of academic outputs remains highly dependent on students’ ability to critically evaluate, verify, and further develop the outputs generated by ChatGPT. These findings suggest that ChatGPT functions effectively as an academic assistant rather than a substitute for critical thinking and independent learning. This study concludes that ChatGPT can be utilized as a supportive academic tool to enhance student productivity when used appropriately and responsibly, supported by adequate AI literacy and academic supervision. The findings are expected to provide empirical insights for higher education institutions in formulating policies and guidelines for the ethical and productive use of ChatGPT in academic activities.
