Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran perpustakaan dalam praktik dan pembelajaran informasi obat (drug information) mahasiswa farmasi.Sebagai ujung tombak pelayanan obat, apoteker berperan memberikan informasi yang tepat dan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan rujukan yang kredibel bagi praktisi kesehatan dan masyarakat umum. Peran tersebut diterapkan melalui layanan informasi obat atau drug information (selanjutnya disebut dengan DI) yang diperoleh melalui praktik dan pembelajaran di universitas ketika apoteker masih berstatus sebagai mahasiswa farmasi. Keberhasilan praktik dan pembelajaran DI tidak terlepas dari peran perpustakaan sebagai pengelola dan penyedia sumber-sumber DI. Peran tersebut diwujudkan melalui ketersediaan sumber-sumber DI dan pustakawan sebagai mediator antara mahasiswa dengan sumber-sumber DI tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the accounting information system of cash receipts and expenditures at PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar and assess the effectiveness of its implementation. Accounting information systems have an important role in managing financial data into accurate and usable information in decision-making. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the accounting information system for cash receipts and cash expenditures at PDAM Tirtauli has clear procedures and runs according to the provisions. However, in its implementation, there are still several weaknesses such as suboptimal separation of duties, lack of supervision, and documentation that is not well organized. This shows that internal control has not been running optimally. Therefore, improvements are needed in the system in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of cash management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of accounting information systems in the death insurance claim payment process at PT Taspen (Persero) Pematangsiantar Branch Office. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through data collection techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results show that the accounting information system has been implemented systematically from claim submission, document verification, data processing, to fund disbursement. The system is considered effective in improving efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of information, although there are still obstacles such as incomplete documents affecting the process. Thus, the accounting information system plays an important role in supporting operational performance and service quality

Abstract

Objectives: The JPTE Integrated Academic Information System (SIJUPE) was developed to address student data management problems at the Department of Electrical Engineering Education (JPTE), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar (FT UNM), which is one of the departments with the largest number of students. This study aims to evaluate the success of SIJUPE using the DeLone & McLean (2003) Information Systems Success Model, which encompasses three quality dimensions (system, information, service), use, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Methods: This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population consisted of all SIJUPE users among the academic community, with samples taken using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. Results:  The results show that user satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on net benefits, as does system use. Among the three quality dimensions, information quality is the most dominant factor influencing user satisfaction. These findings indicate that SIJUPE generally provides positive benefits to the academic community of JPTE FT UNM, although improvements in service quality are still needed. Novelty: This study contributes first empirical evidence on the successful implementation of a cloud computing-based academic information system in a higher education setting with a large student population, specifically in Eastern Indonesia, using an integrated DeLone & McLean framework.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan Building Information Modeling (BIM), siswa SMK DPIB akan lebih siap untuk memenuhi harapan sektor konstruksi di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Meskipun menjadi persyaratan nasional, BIM masih belum banyak digunakan, dan karena sebagian besar bersifat teoritis dengan sedikit sumber daya praktis untuk perangkat lunak Revit, pembelajaran di SMKN 1 Kemlagi kurang maksimal. Dengan bantuan E-modul Revit 3D Arsitektural, model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dibuat untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Diharapkan metode ini akan meningkatkan pemahaman psikomotorik siswa, kebebasan dalam belajar, dan kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja sesuai dengan tuntutan sektor konstruksi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji: (1) tingkat keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang didukung e-modul Revit 3D Arsitektural; (2) perbedaan capaian hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model STAD berbantu e-modul Revit 3D Arsitektural dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL); serta (3) respon siswa terhadap penerapan model STAD dengan e-modul Revit 3D Arsitektural pada materi elemen BIM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pembagian kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar (post-test) serta angket validasi ahli untuk menilai kelayakan e-modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan model STAD dengan e-modul Revit 3D Arsitektural mencapai persentase 92,95% dan tergolong sangat baik; (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen (rata-rata 84,82) dan kelas kontrol (rata-rata 65,08); dan (3) respon siswa sangat positif dengan persentase 88,24%, ditunjukkan melalui beberapa butir respon yaitu: 1) Siswa merasa senang dengan adanya media E-Modul Revit 3D Arsitektural (14); 2) Media E-Modul Revit 3D Arsitektural mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran (16); dan 3) Siswa membutuhkan media E-Modul Revit 3D Arsitektural pada mata pelajaran berikutnya (20).

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the influence of (1) participation, (2) transparency, (3) accountability and utilization of information technology in the management of village funds in Bandardawung village, Tawangmangu Karanganyar sub-district. Methodology: This study uses primary data sourced from respondents' answers. The population in this study was 104 community leaders of Bandardawung village. The sample in this study was calculated using the Solvin formula of 83 people. The data collected in this research was 52. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression and was processed using SPPS software version 26. Main Findings: From the partial test, the variable with the greatest influence on village fund management is the variable of information technology utilization, amounting to 12.83. Adjusted R square value indicates that collectively participation, transparency, accountability and utilization of information technology contribute 94,2%. The remaining 5.8% is another factor outside this study. Novelty/Originality of this study: Previous research only discussed the influence of participation, transparency and accountability on village fund management. The author has not found any research that tests participation, transparency, accountability and the use of information technology in village fund management. This study adds the variable of information technology utilization to maintain budgetary order and discipline in village fund management.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the success of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) implementation at STMIK Bina Bangsa Kendari using the DeLone & McLean model. This model measures information system success through six main variables, namely System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use, User Satisfaction, and Net Benefit. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to students as the primary users of the system. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with a total of 259 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that System Quality and Information Quality have a significant effect on both Use and User Satisfaction. Meanwhile, Service Quality does not significantly affect Use but has a significant effect on User Satisfaction. Furthermore, the variables Use and User Satisfaction are proven to have a significant effect on Net Benefit. The R-Square values indicate that the model has a good capability in explaining the dependent variables, particularly user satisfaction and system benefits. Overall, the findings reveal that the success of SIAKAD is strongly influenced by system quality, information quality, and user satisfaction. Therefore, improving system and information quality, as well as strengthening technical support services, are essential factors in enhancing the benefits of academic information systems in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Limited public access to accurate information about herbal plants remains a barrier to the proper use of traditional medicine. Some communities still rely on inherited knowledge that is not always accompanied by scientific information regarding the benefits, processing methods, dosages, and potential side effects of medicinal plants. This community service activity aims to improve access to information on traditional medicine by training and mentoring participants in using an Android-based herbal plant education application. The activity partners are communities in Makassar City, around herbal cultivation sites, who still use medicinal plants in their daily lives. The implementation method includes identifying partner needs, compiling educational content, developing an Android-based application using an Agile approach, providing application training, mentoring, and evaluating through functional testing and user questionnaires. The introduced application has key features, including a list of herbal plants, information on benefits and processing methods, an image-based plant scanner, educational videos, and details on cultivation locations. Black Box testing results indicate that all application features operate as designed. An evaluation of 15 respondents showed a feasibility level of 88.2%, categorized as very feasible. The results of the activity indicate that this application can serve as a digital educational tool, helping the public access information about herbal plants in an easier, more engaging, and more structured way. Furthermore, training and mentoring help the public use the application's features more effectively. Therefore, this application has the potential to support public access to more structured, easily understood information about herbal plants.

Abstract

Digital transformation is crucial for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve business management effectiveness and competitiveness in the digital economy. However, most MSMEs still rely on manual transaction recording and inventory management, leading to operational constraints such as data entry errors, delays in preparing sales reports, and difficulties with real-time inventory monitoring. This community service activity aims to implement a web-based management information system to support sales monitoring and inventory management at Lasari Kopi MSME in Makassar City. The novelty of this activity lies in integrating sales monitoring, automated transaction recording, and real-time inventory management into a single web-based dashboard tailored to the operational needs of small-scale MSMEs. The implementation method uses an implementative-participatory approach through the stages of identifying partner needs, system development, application implementation, user training, and system evaluation. The evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS), with 15 respondents, including business owners and MSME employees. The implementation results show that all system features function as intended, with no functional errors. Furthermore, the usability evaluation achieved a SUS score of 89.4, which is considered Excellent. The system implementation also successfully improved business operational efficiency by accelerating the transaction recording process from an average of 4–5 minutes to 1–2 minutes and improving the accuracy of real-time inventory monitoring. Thus, the implementation of a web-based management information system has proven to support the digital transformation of MSMEs by improving administrative effectiveness, operational efficiency, and more integrated and sustainable business data management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi simulasi matematika dasar berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep aritmatika dasar melalui metode pembelajaran konvensional. Aplikasi dirancang dengan mengintegrasikan modul latihan, permainan edukatif dengan tingkat kesulitan bertahap, serta sistem penghargaan berbasis pencapaian untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Proses pengembangan menggunakan metode Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan penerapan aplikasi. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan Android Studio dan bahasa pemrograman Java, sedangkan SQLite digunakan sebagai media penyimpanan data lokal. Validasi fungsional dilakukan melalui Black Box Testing untuk memastikan seluruh fitur aplikasi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan sistem. Siswa sekolah dasar dilibatkan sebagai responden untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kegunaan dan kesesuaian aplikasi sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat berfungsi dengan baik pada perangkat Android serta memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman aritmatika dan motivasi belajar siswa.
