Abstract

This study aims to implement an integrated Accounting Information System (AIS) with Midtrans payment gateway at Toko Sahabat, a sports equipment store in Semarang, Indonesia. Through primary and secondary data collection, including interviews, direct observation, and documentation analysis, this study aims to analyze the accounting challenges faced by Toko Sahabat and design solutions accordingly. The results show that AIS implementation brings significant benefits in inventory management, transaction recording, and financial statement preparation, giving stores a competitive advantage in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Abstract

The motorbike and car wash company is one of the SMEs in the service sector. The company needs recording their transactions better. Previously, the company used a recording system that is less efficient in manually written on paper, so that they have difficulty in calculating revenue and transaction amounts. Their system also has a risk of losing transaction records and less secure. Therefore, this system was created using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. This system was built using Laravel and Filament to further shorten production time. The research results a cashier information system. With this system, the company can record the necessary data and transactions. The transactions recorded in the system are automatically stored in the database. This system was tested by company owner and their admin using interview model. The interview results stated that the admin and owner felt a positive impact after implementing this cashier information system. Admins feel safety when record customer data including transactions because the data is stored safely in the database. The company owner can also analyze revenue through the number of transactions so that he can determine a more accurate business strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze patient data security within a cloud-based midwifery information system using the Health and Risk (H&R) approach. While digital transformation in midwifery services enhances the availability and accessibility of patient information, it simultaneously introduces risks regarding confidentiality, integrity, privacy, and unauthorized access to health data. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 100 healthcare professionals who use the cloud-based midwifery information system as respondents. Data collection was conducted via a questionnaire covering five security dimensions: confidentiality, integrity, availability, access control, and privacy. Analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and a risk assessment based on a combination of probability and risk impact. The results indicate that the overall level of data security falls into the high category, with a mean score of 3.998. The availability dimension achieved the highest score at 4.18, followed by confidentiality at 4.12 and integrity at 4.05. Meanwhile, access control scored 3.86, and privacy was the lowest-scoring dimension at 3.78. Risk analysis revealed that unauthorized access and data breaches posed the highest risks, each with a risk score of 20. The findings demonstrate that cloud implementation has supported the availability of midwifery information; however, strengthening access controls, privacy protection, authentication, audit trails, encryption, and user security awareness remains essential. This study recommends periodic, risk-based security evaluations to enhance patient data protection and the reliability of the midwifery information system

Abstract

This study examines the growing importance of integrating accounting information systems and audit quality in enhancing organizational transparency and accountability, particularly in the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) reporting. As sustainability reporting becomes a critical component of corporate disclosure, organizations are required to ensure that the information presented is both reliable and relevant. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of accounting information systems and audit quality on SDG reporting, while investigating the mediating role of sustainability disclosure and the moderating effect of governance quality. This study adopts a quantitative research approach using survey data collected from professionals involved in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting functions. The data are analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate both measurement and structural models. The findings indicate that accounting information systems and audit quality have significant positive effects on sustainability disclosure, which in turn significantly enhances SDG reporting. Additionally, sustainability disclosure is found to partially mediate the relationship between the independent variables and SDG reporting. Governance quality also plays a significant moderating role, strengthening the relationship between both accounting information systems and audit quality with SDG reporting. These results highlight the importance of integrating technological systems, audit practices, and governance mechanisms to improve sustainability reporting practices. The study contributes to the literature by providing an integrated framework that links accounting systems, audit quality, and SDG reporting, and offers practical implications for organizations aiming to improve transparency and sustainability performance.

Abstract

The implementation of the Hospital Information System (SIMRS) in inpatient wards is crucial for improving service quality, efficiency, and data accuracy in hospitals. However, its success largely depends on user acceptance among healthcare workers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Hospital Information System (SIMRS) in the inpatient ward of Harapan Bunda Hospital, Lampung, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The respondents of this study were 138 inpatient nurses and nursing professionals who use the hospital information system in inpatient wards. The data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) method. The results show that the Perceived Usefulness variable has a positive and significant effect on Attitude toward Using and Behavioral Intention to Use. Perceived Ease of Use has a positive and significant effect on Attitude toward Using and exerts a very strong influence on Perceived Usefulness. Furthermore, Attitude toward Using has a positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention to Use. However, Behavioral Intention to Use has not been shown to have a significant influence on Actual Usage. External factors outside the TAM model are strongly suspected to influence the implementation of actual system use in the field.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of transportation systems has encouraged the adoption of contactless toll transactions to improve traffic efficiency and user convenience. However, their dependence on real-time processing, continuous availability, sensitive data, and external payment integration creates significant information security risks. This study aims to design an information security risk management framework for the Let It Flo contactless toll transaction system at PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator using ISO/IEC 27005:2022. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observations, and organizational documentation. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, while ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27002:2022 supported the formulation of appropriate security controls. The findings identified 26 information security risk scenarios: three were classified as high risk, twelve as moderate-to-high, two as moderate, and nine as low-to-moderate. Seventeen scenarios required mitigation, whereas nine were considered acceptable under the organization’s risk acceptance criteria. Recommended treatments include role-based access control, backup and disaster recovery mechanisms, encryption, penetration testing, physical security controls, system testing, and network redundancy. The study concludes that the ISO/IEC 27005:2022-based framework provides a structured approach to identifying, evaluating, treating, and accepting information security risks, thereby supporting the reliability, security, and continuity of contactless toll transaction services.

Abstract

This study investigated the correlation between information literacy and argumentative writing performance among 11th-grade vocational high school students in Bojonegoro, East Java, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative correlational design, a purposive sample of 52 students was selected from a population of 129. The primary instruments were a 16-item information literacy questionnaire adapted from Regina et al. (2023) and a timed argumentative writing test scored with an analytical rubric adapted from Bean et al. (2021). A Shapiro-Wilk normality test revealed a significant deviation from normality in the writing scores (p = 0.027), which necessitated the use of Spearman’s rho as the non-parametric alternative. The linearity assumption was subsequently confirmed (Deviation from Linearity p = 0.701). The Spearman’s rho analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of rₛ = −0.109 (p = 0.443), indicating a non-significant relationship between the two variables. Consequently, the null hypothesis failed to be rejected. These findings suggest that information literacy alone is an insufficient predictor of argumentative writing performance in this context, and that integrating information literacy instruction alongside explicit writing instruction may be necessary to meaningfully improve students’ writing outcomes.

Abstract

This research is designed regarding the impact of price, product information, as well as online customer reviews influence buying choices, involving halal awareness serving as a moderating factor. A quantitative method was employed utilized, focusing on Tokopedia users in Kabupaten Sumenep as the study population. The research involved approximately 152 respondents. The data were examined by applying the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique method using SmartPLS software. The findings indicate indicating that price has a significant and positive influence on buying decisions (β = 0.336; t = 4.107; p = 0.000), product information also exerts a significant and positive effect (β = 0.382; t = 6.189; p = 0.000), as well as online customer reviews likewise demonstrate a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions (β = 0.419; t = 7.545; p = 0.000). Furthermore, halal awareness was found to moderate the influence of price (β = 0.363; p = 0.000), product information (β = 0.161; p = 0.004), and online consumer reviews (β = 0.304; p = 0.000) on buying decisions, strengthening the relationship between the variables

Abstract

Strategic planning in optimizing information technology systems plays a crucial role in improving organizational efficiency and competitiveness. This study discusses the planning stages, including organizational needs analysis, system architecture design, appropriate technology selection, and efficient resource allocation. The methods used in this study are literature review and descriptive analysis, which examine various important aspects of strategic planning, infrastructure implementation, HR training and development, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The main focus of this study is to evaluate the steps that can be taken in developing information technology systems, including selecting appropriate technology, implementing information security policies, and the role of HR training in supporting the successful implementation of new technologies. The results of this study indicate that optimal information technology integration, HR competency development, and ongoing evaluation can improve operational efficiency and service quality. By applying appropriate methods in information technology planning and implementation, organizations can harness the potential of digital transformation to create competitive advantages in an increasingly dynamic market.

Abstract

Population administration services in Pesanggrahan Village are currently still carried out manually, requiring residents to submit physical documents, thus triggering queues and risking document loss. This research aims to design and build a website-based Population Administration Service Information System to digitize the correspondence process, integrate automatic notification features, and publicize regional potential such as MSMEs and tourism. Software development uses the Waterfall method, which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, built using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The research results in an integrated platform that facilitates residents to submit letter requests online and upload required digital documents, effectively cutting the physical bureaucratic chain. This system is equipped with Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) automation that sends automatic approval notifications via email. Functional testing using Black Box Testing demonstrates that all features function validly and as expected. Conclusively, the implementation of this system successfully optimizes bureaucratic efficiency, secures archival records, and increases the visibility of regional potential.
