Abstract

This study aims to improve our understanding of the factors affecting customer satisfaction with the PT. XYZ expedition service. Many people prefer to shop online rather than offline. This study is a quantitative descriptive study conducted by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to PT. XYZ service users. The analysis used is SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Squares). With a total of 110 respondents with criteria having used PT. XYZ for the last 6 months and domiciled in South Jakarta, taking a pure sample to collect data through a questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1-5. The results of this article are: 1) Service quality affects customer satisfaction; 2) Information affects customer satisfaction; 3) Timing affects customer satisfaction. In this study, the satisfaction rate of PT. XYZ customers in South Jakarta was 63.3%; the remaining 36.7% was due to other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The Department of Electrical Automation Engineering manages Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through several separate media. This condition makes it difficult for users to browse documents, monitor progress, access assessment rubrics, and publish project results. This study designs an information system model for PjBL and e-Showcase management using a Design Thinking approach. Carrying out the Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test stages. Then, data is collected through observations and interviews with 12 students and 4 lecturers. Processing the findings into 17 initial codes, 10 themes, 10 functional requirements, and 4 non-functional requirements. Determine the impact-effort score through discussions with developers who understand the level of difficulty of each feature. Then, an interactive prototype is created and tested on 19 users, consisting of 12 students, 4 lecturers, and 3 admins. The test resulted in 139 task implementations. Participants completed 131 tasks, or 94.2%, without instructions, and 8 tasks, or 5.8%, with general instructions regarding menu locations. The average task ease of use was 4.38 out of 5, while the System Usability Scale score was 79.61, falling into the acceptable category. The Yangyang model is designed to support document management, progress monitoring, rubric transparency, cross-semester archiving, and project publication through e-Showcase. However, the prototype still requires improvements in menu naming, button visibility, and guide search before the system is implemented.

Abstract

Generative AI has revolutionized the creation of realistic multimedia content, including chatbots that generate human-like responses. This technology significantly improves higher education by enabling universities to provide fast, accurate, and efficient information services. Generative chatbots can handle multiple users simultaneously and operate 24/7, increasing productivity and accessibility. The model was developed using Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLLC) with deep learning algorithm and Transformer architecture. The dataset used consists of 5,403 question-answer pairs from Institut Teknologi Garut (ITG), which are divided into 5,089 pairs for training and 314 pairs for testing. From 12 hyperparameter configurations, the best combination (maxlen 80, num_layers 2, batch_size 128, embedding_dim 256, fully_connected_dim 256, num_heads 2, positional_encoding_length 512, learning_rate 0.0002, and epoch 100) achieved a BLEU score of 71.03% on the ITG dataset. Evaluation using ROUGE and METEOR also shows consistent performance, indicating good content coverage and semantic similarity. Retraining with another dataset using the same approach resulted in a slightly higher BLEU score of 72.05%, with a different optimal learning rate of 0.00025. The results of this study indicate that Transformer-based generative chatbots can support higher education services and highlight the importance of adjusting hyperparameters based on dataset characteristics. This research also provides opportunities to develop similar models in other universities by adapting datasets and exploring more advanced methods to improve performance in broader educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital accounting literacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness on the effectiveness of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) use with digital competence as a moderating variable, among accounting students at three private universities in Lamongan Regency (UNISDA, UNISLA, and UMLA). The study used a quantitative explanatory approach with a sample of 77 active students in semesters IV–VIII selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through an online questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 distributed via Google Form, then analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) assisted by SmartPLS version 4. The results showed that digital accounting literacy had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of AIS use (β = 0.299; t = 3.100; p = 0.002), AI awareness had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.445; t = 3.615; p = 0.000), and digital competence had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.347; t = 3.192; p = 0.001). As a moderating variable, digital competence significantly weakened the influence of digital accounting literacy on the effectiveness of AIS use (β = -0.260; t = 2.678; p = 0.007), but significantly strengthened the influence of AI awareness (β = 0.287; t = 2.941; p = 0.003). The research model had strong explanatory power (R² = 0.861) and high predictive relevance (Q² = 0.819). These findings indicate that accounting students' technological readiness is determined by the complex interaction between digital literacy, AI awareness, and digital competence, so that strengthening all three in a balanced manner is important for developing an accounting curriculum in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of accounting information systems, product innovation, and produkct quality on the financial performance of MSMEs in Batam City. MSMEs play a crucial role in regional economic growth but face challengses such as weak financial management and low product competitiveness. This research employs a quantitative approach focused on collecting and analyzing numerical data. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 100 MSME actors in Batam City, selected using Slovin’s formula and simple random sampling. The collected data were processed using SPSS 25 and measured with a Likert scale. The results indicate that accounting information systems, product innovation, and product quality significantly affect MSMEs financial performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that effective financial record-keeping systems, continuous product innovation, and improved product quality are vital factors to enhance the financial performance and competitiveness of MSMEs amid increasingly competitive market conditions.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the agricultural sector has accelerated the shift toward more adaptive and technology-based agricultural extension systems. Agricultural extension workers play a strategic role in supporting farmer group development through educational, facilitative, motivational, and institutional strengthening functions. This study aimed to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers, the utilization of information technology, extension competency, and their relationship with the development of rice farmer groups in Teluk Kecapi Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The study employed a survey method using Simple Random Sampling techniques involving members of rice farmer groups. Data were collected through structured interviews and questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale analysis and Spearman Rank Correlation. The findings revealed that the roles of agricultural extension workers, information technology utilization, extension competency, and farmer group development were categorized as high. Extension workers were perceived as actively facilitating agricultural information dissemination, digital communication, institutional strengthening, and farmer capacity development. The results further indicated that the roles of extension workers, digital platforms, digital content, personal attributes, and extension knowledge had positive and significant relationships with farmer group development. The study highlights that the integration of extension competency and digital technology utilization constitutes a critical factor in promoting more effective, adaptive, and sustainable farmer group development.

Abstract

Background: The Mobile JKN application enables BPJS Kesehatan participants to access health services, including online outpatient registration. At Jampangkulon Hospital, 13,021 of 28,896 outpatient visits (44.92%) were registered through Mobile JKN between January and June 2025. Despite increasing use several system related issues persist underscoring the need to evaluate the system and information quality supporting the application. Objective: This study aimed to assess the association of system quality and information quality on the utilization of the Mobile JKN. Methods: The study adopted a cross-sectional analytical design and involved 388 Mobile JKN users selected through accidental sampling. The data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire with a four-point Likert scale and analysed through multiple linear regression. The Mobile JKN use was evaluated using five indicators: frequency, duration, intensity, nature, and pattern. Results: The result showed that system quality (b= 0.204; 95% CI: 0.11–0.29; p < 0.001) and information quality (b= 0.547; 95% CI: 0.47–0.63; p < 0.001) were positively and significantly associated with application use. Conclusion: The model explained 71.2% of the variance in application use (R² = 0.712). Suggestion: Hospital Manajemen and BPJS Kesehatan should continue improving the system to encourage wider adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on the intention to use the personnel management information system at the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS). A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey method involving 116 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use, while perceived ease of use positively influences perceived usefulness. Furthermore, perceived usefulness was found to partially mediate the relationship between perceived ease of use and the intention to use. This study reinforces the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) within the public sector and offers practical utility for BASARNAS to optimize interface usability and system utility, thereby supporting administrative efficiency regarding personnel management.

Abstract

Effective marketing activities require centralized, structured, accurate, and accessible information. CV San Amerta Romora previously managed government institution data, vendor information, product data, Inaproc links, company profiles, and brochures through separate files and storage media, creating difficulties in data retrieval, updating, and information consistency. This study aimed to design a web-based marketing data information system to improve the efficiency of internal marketing information management. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review, while the existing system was analyzed using the PIECES framework. System requirements were modeled using Unified Modeling Language, including Use Case, Activity, Sequence, and Class Diagrams. The system was implemented using Laravel, Filament, and Fortify, with role-based access for Admin and User/Sales. The proposed system integrates marketing data, document management, requests, and notifications within a centralized portal. Black Box Testing was conducted on authentication, data access, data management, request processing, notifications, and access control functions. The testing involved 19 functional scenarios, and all scenarios produced results consistent with the expected outputs. The system provides a structured platform for improving marketing data accessibility, retrieval efficiency, data control, and internal information management at CV San Amerta Romora.

Abstract

ATPIKA is a furniture and interior vocational higher education institution in Semarang. In its business activities, especially in recording transactions related to academics, ATPIKA uses accurate Accounting 5 desktop-based applications produced by PT. Cipta Piranti Sejahtera to assist ATPIKA in processing financial data accurately and quickly generating financial statements. Based on interviews with staff and directors, several problems were found. Another fact is ATPIKA has never conducted monitoring and evaluation of the system used. From all the problems that exist in ATPIKA, researchers are motivated to audit using the COBIT 5.0 framework using the MEA domain, which the domain focuses on monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of control. The results of this study after analyzing the level of capability in AEC are at level 3, namely the established process. The conclusion of this study is that ATPIKA has implemented every information technology governance process according to standards, but the understanding of the monitoring and control process on the use of information technology in the staff ranks is still lacking.
