Abstract

The development of digital technology in education has encouraged the implementation of modern information systems, one of which is a Quick Response Code-based attendance system. This study aims to design and develop a student attendance information system that uses Quick Response Code cards, connected to a mobile web application, to assist teachers in recording attendance at SMP Negeri 3 Gadingrejo. The method used in the development is a waterfall approach with the steps of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system makes it easy for students to record attendance by scanning the prepared Quick Response Code, so that attendance data is immediately recorded automatically and in real time into the system. The results of the blackbox test method showed that all features functioned well without any problems. In addition, trials with teachers and students showed a high level of satisfaction with the ease and efficiency of the system. It is hoped that this system can replace the manual method that is still used, improve the accuracy of attendance recording, and support the digital transformation of school administration.

Abstract

Background: Inventory management and selling price determination are critical in wholesale trading companies because inventory represents a substantial portion of working capital, while pricing decisions depend on accurate cost information. Previous studies have generally examined accounting information systems (AIS) for inventory management and selling price determination separately or within single-company case studies. This leaves a gap in empirical evidence integrating AIS-based inventory cycle efficiency with variable costing and selling price determination across comparable publicly listed wholesale companies. Objective: This study examines how inventory AIS supports inventory cycle management and selling price determination through a variable costing approach, while identifying the relationship between inventory turnover and implicit mark-up. Methods: A descriptive-comparative quantitative approach was applied to the audited financial statements of five companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange UNTR, HEXA, KOBX, INTA, and AKRA over the 2022–2025 period. Financial data were standardized into millions of Indonesian rupiah and analyzed using inventory turnover (ITO), days inventory outstanding (DIO), gross profit margin (GPM), and implicit cost-plus mark-up. Results: The findings reveal substantial differences in inventory efficiency and pricing patterns. AKRA recorded the highest inventory turnover, reaching 16.12 times in 2025, with the lowest mark-up of 9.78%, whereas KOBX recorded the lowest inventory turnover, at 1.02 times in 2023, and a substantially longer inventory age. Conclusion: Reliable inventory AIS supports more accurate cost information, enabling companies to align selling prices and mark-up strategies with inventory behavior and business conditions.

Abstract

Background: Construction firms increasingly rely on integrated digital systems to coordinate procurement and project delivery. At PT ADHI KARYA (Persero) Tbk, however, the procurement workflow remains only partially integrated, even though SAP Materials Management (MM), SAP Project System (PS), and e-Procurement are already in use. Objective: This study examines the relationships of SAP Implementation, SAP–e-Procurement Integration, and User Competence with Project Performance, with Procurement Efficiency and Information Completeness specified as intervening mechanisms. Methods: Data were obtained from 100 purposively selected SAP users through an explanatory quantitative survey. The proposed measurement and structural models were evaluated using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. Results: Procurement Efficiency was positively associated with SAP Implementation (β = 0.319; p = 0.007), SAP–e-Procurement Integration (β = 0.321; p = 0.002), and User Competence (β = 0.241; p = 0.014). Procurement Efficiency was also positively associated with Information Completeness (β = 0.500; p < 0.001) and Project Performance (β = 0.494; p < 0.001). Information Completeness showed an additional positive association with Project Performance (β = 0.530; p < 0.001). Bootstrap estimates of the indirect effects further supported the mediating roles of Procurement Efficiency and Information Completeness. Conclusion: Project performance is strengthened when SAP and e-Procurement operate as a more integrated workflow, procurement activities are executed efficiently, information is complete and reliable, and users possess the competence required to operate the systems effectively.

Abstract

Background: Logistics transformation at Sentral Pengolahan Pos (SPP) Jakarta, a high-volume mail-processing hub within PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), is taking place amid rising shipment volumes and persistent challenges in national logistics performance. Objective: This study examines the relationships between delivery accuracy, robotic technology implementation, and logistics information system integration and logistics operational performance, with sorting process optimization tested as a mediating variable. Method: The study employed a quantitative explanatory, cross-sectional design using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. Primary data were collected through a 5-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 80 employees and operators at SPP Jakarta using total sampling (census). Results: All ten hypothesized structural paths were statistically supported. Delivery accuracy, robotic technology implementation, and logistics information system integration were positively and significantly associated with sorting process optimization and logistics operational performance. Robotic technology implementation showed the largest path coefficient for sorting process optimization (0.471), while logistics information system integration showed the largest direct path coefficient for logistics operational performance (0.434). Sorting process optimization demonstrated statistically significant but limited partial mediation, with Variance Accounted For (VAF) values ranging from 20.31% to 26.05%, indicating that most of the modeled relationships remained direct rather than being transmitted through the mediator. Conclusion: The findings suggest that PT Pos Indonesia should strengthen robotic technology utilization, information system interoperability, and sorting process optimization as complementary operational capabilities. Because the data are cross-sectional and perception-based, the results should be interpreted as structural associations rather than definitive causal effects.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in government has transformed public service delivery and decision-making while raising ethical concerns related to fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy. This study develops and validates an Ethical Information System Success Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Government by integrating Ethical AI governance principles with the Information System Success Model. A sequential mixed-method approach with triangulation-based instrument testing was employed. The model was developed using an Input–Process–Output logic and operationalized into 11 latent variables with 55 measurement items. Quantitative data were collected from 86 government employees using AI-based systems during October–November and analyzed using PLS-SEM, complemented by qualitative expert validation. The findings reveal that ethical transparency, accountability, and privacy and security significantly influence user trust, whereas ethical fairness does not demonstrate a statistically significant effect. User trust and satisfaction subsequently drive actual AI use, which strongly contributes to net public benefits. The empirical study was conducted among Indonesian government employees using AI-supported public service systems.

Abstract

This study synthesizes empirical evidence to test the role of student engagement and information security as mediators between digital literacy, self-efficacy, and critical thinking skills in digital education contexts. Using random-effects meta-analysis of 56 indexed studies and two-step meta-analytic structural equation modeling (MASEM), we aggregated correlation coefficients with Fisher Z transform and tested latent structure. Meta-analytic results showed significant combined correlations between digital literacy, self-efficacy, engagement, and critical thinking, with strong heterogeneity across studies. MASEM identified engagement as complete mediator: the influence of digital literacy and self-efficacy on critical thinking is entirely mediated by engagement (β = 0.95, p < .001). These findings have important implications for cybersecurity education: Critical thinking—developed through engaged digital learning—is theoretically and empirically established as foundational for information security awareness, enabling learners to evaluate source credibility, recognize manipulation tactics, and make secure digital decisions. While this meta-analysis did not directly measure security behaviors, the robust DL-SE-EN-CT pathway identified here provides an evidence-based foundation for designing security-aware digital education programs. The study provides an integrative model for digital education policy and offers a theoretical framework for understanding how foundational digital competencies contribute to cybersecurity-ready learners

Abstract

Finding a secure and comfortable parking space is one of the needs of automobile owners when they visit retail centers. The ability of parking lot managers to provide information on sufficient capacity and access presents a barrier to delivering parking facilities in retail centers. Due to this, a website-based parking facility management information system is required, allowing drivers to make reservations and payments online based on when they plan to visit the shopping center. The method used in the design of ParkHere information systems is design thinking which consists of empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing stages. The output of this study shows that at the empathize stage, motorists need information about the capacity of parking lots in various shopping centers before visiting the location. At the defined stage, this shows the need for motorists for website-based and real-time parking facility information. At the idea stage, it is necessary to design an information system based on the website that provides information on the capacity of parking facilities based on the operational time of the shopping center. At the prototype and testing stages, the ParkHere information system can answer the user's needs in choosing a place and location for vehicle parking based on the specified time.
