Abstract

Industry 4.0 will be utilised by some Muslims who follow the development of information technology. The mosque is one of the places of worship in which there is an organisation. One of the divisions or sections in the mosque's organisational structure that is most rarely found is the IT (Information and Technology) field. One of the tasks of the IT field is to manage the information system in the form of documentation of activities and activities carried out at the mosque. Collecting all information about management in some mosques that follow technological developments such as activity & financial information which is useful as a source of information to determine the first steps in an effort to prosper the mosque. Such is the case at the Al-Ikhlash Karet Tengsin Mosque, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Currently, information on activities conveyed to the community is still in the form of announcements posted on the mosque notice board and the process of processing financial data and information is still not integrated. As a result of this, there are many obstacles faced by the mosque management in its management affairs such as financial management and special activities of the Al-Ikhlash Mosque. The data collection method technique for making the programme is by observing interviews with partners. This interview aims to find out the problems that are being experienced. Completing the programme and obtaining satisfaction surveys from partners and participants who attended the socialisation training. It is known that the overall level of community satisfaction with community service has an average score of 4.61 and is in the Strongly Agree category. Community satisfaction related to the community service programme can be an indicator of the success of the community service programme. In addition, the community also expects cooperation with other parties, so that when the community service programme is completed, the community is able to continue the programme.

Abstract

SIMWAS is an information system at the XYZ Ministry that is used to manage supervisory activities and follow up on supervisory results. SIMWAS is an important asset that contains all internal control business processes, but in practice, SIMWAS information security risks have not been managed properly. To overcome these problems, information security risk management is needed at SIMWAS. This study aims to design and analyze SIMWAS information security risk management using the NIST SP 800-30 framework. NIST SP 800-30 focuses on a particular infrastructure and its boundaries. Since the purpose is to perform a technical risk analysis of the core IT infrastructure, it is highly prescriptive. It has nine primary steps to conduct risk assessment. The NIST SP 800-30 framework is used to design and analyze SIMWAS information security risks by identifying threats, vulnerabilities, impacts, likelihoods, and recommendations for controls. SIMWAS information security risk assessment is carried out by analyzing data obtained from the results of interviews, observations, and document reviews. The results of this study show that SIMWAS information security has four low-level risks, eight moderate-level risks, and five high-level risks. Very low and low risk levels are acceptable according to the risk appetite of the business owner, but moderate, high, and very high-risk levels require risk avoidance, risk transfer and risk reduction. The XYZ Ministry need to carry out residual risk analysis and cost-benefit analysis from implementing controls in each risk scenarios.

Abstract

State Universities in Indonesia have college performance agreement with Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) that consists of performance indicators and target achievements in a year. For assuring the integration, availability, and data validity of performance indicators, good information management with utilized information system is needed by entire working unit. Information management process to support data collection and target achievements on college performance agreement with MoEC in Brawijaya University still has many deficiencies. The process involves many stakeholders because it covers all areas of business in Brawijaya University (UB). Quality Asurance Center in UB as the unit that collects and processes the data of target achievements complained about data collection that takes a long time and it is often incomplete. The faculties, study programs, and other units experience the unavailability of most data and target performance indicators on information system that is used as reference for implementing business processes. The problem responded lightly by Information and Communication Technology Unit in Brawijaya University with consideration that Information System used is in accordance with the needs of the academic community. On the other hand, the responses about the problem from the lecturers, staff, and students are different. This research tries to explore and evaluate the problem and formulate the steps of transformations to refine the situation by using Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) with some additional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) stages. The major contribution of the research is giving the insights about the problem thoroughly comprising various perspective of stakeholders, transforming the refinement of the situation presented in conceptual model, and the stakeholders’ assessment of the conceptual model. This research also visualizes the implementation of RCA to dig up more perspective of the stakeholders and helps identifying the activities to construct conceptual model.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the utilization (individual impact) of academic information systems at Hasanuddin University using the DeLone and McLean information system success model. This model has seven hypotheses to examine the construct relationships including system quality predicts user satisfaction (H1), information quality predicts user satisfaction (H2), system quality predicts actual use (H3), information quality predicts actual use (H4), user satisfaction predicts actual use (H5a), actual use predicts user satisfaction (H5b), user satisfaction predicts individual impact (H6), and actual use predicts individual impact (H7). We use structural equation modeling with Partial Least Square technique. The results show that H1, H2, H6, H7 have a significant positive impact and the remaining hypothesis have no significant positive impact. In conclusion, indicators that influence the effectiveness of using the system are on the system quality variable and the quality of information with the greatest influence on the quality of information.

The Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia reported increased hoax news in society. Libraries as information management institutions require information control tools so that the information served complies with legal and ethical principles. Various problems often occur in libraries, such as copyright infringement and the discovery of adult content in children’s collections. The Law on libraries regulates collection management but does not explicitly stipulate what collections are permitted and prohibited. This study aims to find out Electronic Information and Transaction Law, a means of information control in libraries. This research used the content analysis method. It used quick note techniques and member checks to obtain data. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. Data validation was performed through credibility testing using triangulation, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. According to the Law, legal and ethical information do not violate Intellectual Property Rights and moral norms and protect personal rights. Information also does not contain gambling, insults, defamation, extortion, violence, or threats. Information was also not fake, misleading, or hateful news. The information must be relevant, not derived from wiretapping, and free from content prohibited by the State.
