Abstract

Impaction occurs due to a mismatch between the size and shape of the teeth and the jaw. Generally, teeth that often experience impaction are posterior teeth, although anterior teeth can also experience impaction, but rarely found. This study was intended to determine the prevalence of tooth impaction on radiographs in the Radiology Department of RSGMP Hasanuddin University in 2023. This descriptive observational study used a total sampling design whose population was all panoramic radiographs of pa-tients with impacted teeth from medical report data in 2023. A total of 530 samples had impaction, 390 (73.5%) third molar im-paction, 50 (9.43%) premolar impaction, and 95 (17.93%) canine impaction. It was concluded that the more common impacted tooth in Unhas RSGMP in 2023 was the lower third molar.

Abstract

Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that is associated with damage to joint cartilage. One way to diagnose mild pain or the onset of OA early is to do a rontgen examination. The aim of the study was to determine the differences in the degree of osteoarthritis of the knee joint AP position erect with the AP supine position. This research was conducted in the hospital. Academic Jaury Jusuf Putera Makassar April - June 2019. This type of research is descriptive analytical, data collection techniques using questionnaires, sampling techniques carried out by accidental sampling analysis. Data analysis using statistics Presentation of data is presented in the form of graph tables accompanied by narration. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Erect Position has an assessment score with an average of 7.20 while the Supine position with an average of 8.00. From the results of the statistical test obtained p value (0.455)> 0.05 means that there is no statistically significant difference in scores between Erect and Supine positions. It is expected that the radiology officer chooses the right projection that is in accordance with the patient's general condition. If it is possible for the patient to be examined with the projection of AP Weight-Bearing Standing, the officer uses the projection, otherwise the officer can use the AP Supine or AP Erect position because the two positions have no significant differences based on the results of the existing research.

Padjonga Regional Hospital, Ngalle Takalar, to obtain information about fixation devices that are made very effective or effective for tool design, patient care, and required radiographic results. This research was conducted in April - May 2019. The type of this research is Deskritiptif where the population and samples that are the object of this research come from radiology radiographers at RSUD H. Padjonga Dg. Ngalle Takalar as many as 8 respondents Based on the results of data collection using a questionnaire in the Radiology Installation of H. Padjonga Hospital in Ngalle Takalar in terms of the Design Tools Obtained results of 100 percent or according to the excellent category of this tool, it is very easy, easy and easy to use for users. For aspects of the Patient Acceptance aspect, the results are 95 percent or in a very good category. While for the Radiographic Results aspect, the results obtained are 75 percent or in the Good category. Preferably the procurement of radiological fixation devices is a necessity. With a fixation tool, it can reduce image sharpness due to movement / thus helping radiographers to produce high quality photos.

Abstract

The waiting time for radiology services is the grace period from the patient in the photo to receiving the results that have been experienced by the radiologist. One that affects the waiting time for radiology services is the use of PACS in radiology. PACS is a system that functions to receive, store, display and distribute radiological medical images. Since 2022, the Radiology service at one of Hospital in Pekanbaru has carried out a digital system, namely the use of PACS on all computers. The use of PACS at one of Hospital in Pekanbaru does not always run efficiently, not infrequently there are several examinations that get the results of doctor expertise/doctor's reading results that are long enough, even exceeding the minimum service standards. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) on the waiting time for Radiology services. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research through document studies. This research was conducted at the Radiology Installation one of Hospital in Pekanbaru by taking samples of 300 data for 2021 and 300 data for 2023. From the results of this study, it was found that there was an influence of the use of PACS on Radiology service time seen from the tcount of 4.688 which was greater than the ttable of 1.6474 with a large influence of 4%.

Abstract

Lead apron is a type of personal protective equipment in the form of an apron and made of lead which is designed to protect the body from the dangers of radiation. Menurut Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 1250/MENKES/SK/XII/2009 regarding Quality Control Guidelines to protect the density and physical condition of the lead apron, testing is required once a year and may be carried out before one year if necessary. To maintain the quality of the lead apron, it needs to be stored in a good manner and avoid stacking and folding it. Because it can cause damage which will reduce its function as radiation protection equipment. Lead apron storage should be stored flat without folds or on a special shelf. The aim of this research is to test lead aprons in the Radiology Installation of Regional Hospitals Mangusada Badung to determine the feasibility of the lead apron. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with a survey approach, observation, namely by carrying out testing, measurement and documentation. This research was conducted in July. The results of this study indicate that lead apron testing in the Radiology Installation of Regional Hospitals Mangusada Badung What has been done is that the four lead aprons are still in good condition and still suitable for use.
