Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Businesses are critical to the economic development of a nation. MSMEs in the Bunaken Manado District have seen a number of difficulties and adjustments in recent years. One such issue is the poor level of financial literacy among these businesses, which results in a lack of knowledge of fundamental financial concepts like long-term planning, investing, and budgeting. having trouble implementing information technology because of access issues and a lack of knowledge about its advantages for improved operational and marketing effectiveness. The inefficiency of MSME financial management, especially the challenge of consistently producing accurate financial reports, prevents appropriate analysis and decision-making. Accounting information system use is crucial for enhancing MSMEs' performance since it facilitates the effective collection, management, and analysis of financial data. Quantitative approaches were used in this study. 324 MSMEs in Manado's Bunaken District made up the research sample; they were chosen through the use of a purposive sampling technique. Research data is tested with structural equation models using SmartPLS software. The study's findings indicate that, with a P value of 0.000, the use of accounting information systems and information systems has a positive and significant impact on MSMEs' performance, but financial literacy has no discernible impact at all (P = 0.103).

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) as a practical initiative to strengthen institutional legal governance within a Legal Entity State University (PTN BH). In the era of digital transformation and open government, the ability to manage and disseminate legal documents systematically is a vital component of good university governance. Using a qualitative-descriptive method with an empirical- administrative approach, this research observes how the UNS JDIH was developed, managed, and integrated within the university’s governance system. Data were obtained from document analysis, interviews with legal office staff, and direct observation during internal testing. Results show that UNS JDIH has reached Technology Readiness Level 5, indicating functional readiness for full implementation. The platform (jdih.uns.ac.id) consolidates all internal legal products such as Rector’s Regulations, Rector’s Decrees, and Circular Letters into a harmonized, web-based repository accessible to the public. JDIH UNS not only enhances transparency and accountability but also serves as an institutional mechanism for harmonizing legal policies in line with national regulations.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of information technology has drastically changed the way students access and utilize academic content. Searching for information has become much easier thanks to the availability of various digital platforms. However, this convenience also poses new challenges, one of which is information overload. Students, especially those not from Library and Information Science programs (non- Library and Information Science), often find it challenging to assess and select relevant and reliable sources. This is due to their low information literacy skills. This study aims to explore the experiences of non-Library Information Science students in dealing with information overload when searching for academic information. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with four non-Library Information Science students who were selected purposively. The results show that non-Library Information Science students experience information overload due to their limited information literacy skills. They struggle to distinguish credible academic sources, despite generally relying heavily on Google and artificial intelligence-based tools in their information search. Cross-disciplinary information literacy training is essential for enabling students to critically evaluate information and maintain academic integrity in the digital age.
