Abstract

Based on observations and supervision conducted by the author shows that the teachers at SMAN 2 Pasaman do not have the ability and good skills in carrying out their duties, especially in terms of using learning media. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve the ability of teachers to use instructional media by providing mentoring based on individual guidance at Pasaman High School 2. This research is a School action research. Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 7 class teachers at SMAN 2 Pasaman. Research data were collected using observation sheets. Data were analyzed using averages. The results showed that mentoring activities based on individual guidance can improve the ability of teachers in designing, determining and using learning media. This is evidenced based on preliminary data on the ability of teachers before the implementation of mentoring activities based on individual guidance is still in the unfavorable category. Then after mentoring activities based on individual guidance, the ability of teachers increases as seen from the improvement in the quality of instructional media made by teachers and the increase in the ability of teachers to use the media in the classroom to 77.71 (good) in the first cycle and after that increases in the second cycle to 86 (very good).

Abstract

Based on the learning outcomes of students of Class XII Science.3 SMAN 1 Pasaman in Chemistry sub subjects Explaining the equilibrium reaction in the relationship between reagents and reaction results is still very low. The average student learning outcomes are still below the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in Chemistry. Explaining the equilibrium reaction in the relationship between reagents and reaction results is still very low through Discovery Learning Learning Method in class XI IPA 3SMAN 1 Pasaman Pasaman Barat Regency.This research is a classroom action research. Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 33 students of class XI IPA 3 of SMAN 1 Pasaman. Research data were collected using observation sheets and daily tests. Data were analyzed using percentages.Based on the results of research and discussion that has been stated, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning Method can improve student learning outcomes in the sub subjects Describe the structure, method of writing, nomenclature, the nature and use of benzene and its descent. At SMAN 1 Pasaman.Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 50.8 (enough) increased to 84.73 (good) with an increase of 33.93%.

Abstract

To create a learning process that is fun, exciting and can improve learning outcomes, it is necessary to have an interesting learning change that is applying STAD cooperative learning models and quizzes. The results of the study in the first cycle, classical learning activities only reached 52.94%. This has not yet reached the expected learning process improvement of yaitu 75%. But in the learning process the group has reached 88% with a target of ? 75%. While learning outcomes only reached 66.47% while the target determined 100% completely reached nilai 75%. To improve the classical learning process in the second cycle each student is given a visual aid a number of flat shapes to be formed into a variety of combinations to make questions. In Cycle II there was an increase in the classical learning process to 65.88% because there were 3 students asking questions and 14 students taking notes, where in Cycle I there were no students asking and taking notes. The group learning process increased to 91.05%. While learning outcomes reached an average of 76.47%. In Cycle III, in addition to the display for each student, to be able to find the formula for building area based on the area of flat shape that has been mastered by students, it is also added by giving homework assignments in the form of exercises. This is due to the increasingly difficult competency to master. In cycle III an increase in classical learning process was quite high to 84.61%. This is due to the increasing number of students who ask questions as many as 10 students and record as many as 4 students. The group learning process increased to 97.61%. While the learning outcomes reached an average of 79.61% with 100% of students achieving a value of ? 75. Thus all the targets set had been achieved. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the STAD type cooperative learning model can encourage students to learn about the area of more enthusiasm, improve the learning process, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers in the January-December semester 2019/2020, researchers found the phenomenon that the level of teacher discipline in collecting learning tools is still low. This can be seen from the time researchers asked teachers to collect learning tools. Many teachers did not collect the learning tools that were requested. There are also teachers who are in a hurry to prepare a learning kit when the Principal or supervisor will supervise the class. Of the 6 class teachers, if averaged, then only 60%, teachers who complete the learning tools in the form of syllabus, SK / KD analysis, lesson plans, prota promissory notes and teaching materials. Meanwhile, 40% of teachers do not collect. This research is a School Action research. Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 6 Kinali SMAN 2 subject teachers who were research subjects teachers. Research data were collected using observation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of reward and punishment systems can improve teacher discipline in collecting learning tools. This is evidenced from before applying reward and punishment, the percentage of teachers who collected learning tools was only 66.67% with those who collected on time only amounted to 22.81%. After applying the reward and punishment system, in the first cycle, the teacher who collected the learning tools became 79.65% with the percentage who collected on time was 35.79%. After the second cycle, the percentage of teachers who collected learning tools became 97.54% with the percentage of teachers who collected on time amounted to 81.05%.

Abstract

The achievement of learning objectives is determined by many factors including the factor of the teacher in implementing the teaching and learning process, because the teacher can directly influence, foster and improve students' intelligence and skills. To overcome the above problems and to achieve educational goals to the fullest, the role of the teacher is very important and it is hoped that the teacher has a good teaching method and is able to choose the right learning method and in accordance with the concepts of the subject to be delivered. One of the appropriate learning models in PKN learning is the Snowball Throwing learning model. The problems to be studied in this study are: Can the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model improve the science grade results of Class V students at SDN 11 Sikalang? The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of PKN Class V SDN 11 Sikalang through the Snowball Throwing learning model. This study uses two rounds of classroom action research. Each round consists of four stages: planning, implementing, observing, reflecting. The targets of this study were students of Class V SDN 11 Sikalang. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the results of the analysis of the PKN learning model has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes characterized by increased student learning completeness in each cycle, namely the first cycle of the average learning outcomes of 73.53, and the second cycle of 83.53. The conclusion of this study is the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive effect, which can improve student learning outcomes which are indicated by the average student answers stating that students are interested and interested in the Snowball Throwing learning model so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Based on Student Learning Outcomes of Class V SDN 02 Talawi Hilir in PKN Subjects it was found that Student Learning Outcomes in PKN Subjects was still very low. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information about Student Learning Outcomes Improvement in PKN Subjects through the cooperative learning model type Student Facilitator and Explaining in Class V SDN 02 Talawi Hilir. This research is a class action research. Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 29 students of Class V SDN 02 Talawi Hilir. Research data were collected using Observation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been presented in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the model of demonstration learning can improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of the National Education School in Class V SDN 02 Talawi Hilir. Student Learning Outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 73.79 (enough) increased to 82.76 (good) with an increase of 8.97 (good).

Abstract

Based on observations and supervision conducted by the author, it shows that the teacher's pedagogical competence in preparing lesson plans is still low. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information about Improving Teacher's pedagogical competence in Developing Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) Through In House Training (IHT) at Kinali 1 High School. This research is a school action research. Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 4 productive teachers who taught at SMAN 1 Kinali. Research data were collected using observation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The results showed that the implementation of In House Training (IHT) can improve the teacher's pedagogical competence in preparing lesson plans. This is evidenced by the initial average score of teacher competence before the program is 74. Then after IHT activities there was an increase in cycle I was 78.70 (good) and after that it increased in cycle II to 87.56 (very good).

Abstract

Lack of interest in children's learning in PKn subjects in Class VII1 State Junior High School 2 Tigo Nagari Pasaman Regency, with the aim to find out the participation of parents in increasing students' learning interest in PKn. subjects in Class VII1 Of State Junior High School 2 Tigo Nagari Pasaman Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. Using descriptive methods. Informants are determined by purposive sampling. with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Based on the results of research conducted showed that parents have provided participation in increasing students' learning interest in PKn subjects. It is seen that parents always pay attention to student lessons at home, advise students at home, parents always try to increase students' learning interest. Various participations made by parents to students at home in increasing their learning interest, especially in PKn subjects, namely: (1) Providing motivation, (2) Completing Books, (3) Encouraging, (4) Telling to learn, (5) Giving punishment, (6) Giving advice, (7) Giving rewards.

Abstract

The development of technology in the world of education has produced many new innovations to support the learning process. One of them is the increasing number of variations of learning media thanks to increasingly rapid technological developments. In the world of education, a shift has been felt, and even a fundamental change at the level of philosophy, direction and purpose. It is no exaggeration to say that scientific progress was triggered by the birth of computer technology. One of the most prominent characteristics of this era is the increasingly interconnected world of science, so that the relationship between them becomes faster. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the application of concept maps in SMAN1 Bukittinggi, to identify the effectiveness of the application of concept map media in PPKn learning at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi, and to find out the consequences of using concept map media in improving students' understanding.This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research method in this research, because it corresponds to the nature of the problem as well as the objectives that want to be obtained from its research. Qualitative properties that have in this study require the author to jump directly into the field in finding data or information through observations, interviews, documentation studies. The informants in this study were students, PPKN teachers,Research shows that. (1) The application of concept map media is a medium that supports the effectiveness of pbm itself both teachers and siawa both benefit by using this concept map media.(2) The effectiveness of the application of concept map media in PPKn learning is very effective and able to improve students' understanding because students not only memorize but also understand the material.(3).the consequence of applying the concept map in improving students' understanding in PPKn learning is that there are positive and negative impacts
