Abstract

The potential to integrate Sharia-compliant financial services into this management system could further enhance the effectiveness of financial management. This not only supports the economic independence of educational institutions but also empowers their operations in the long term. This study aims to examine how a web-based Islamic education management system can improve education transparency in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study, this research found that a web-based management system provides easy access to real-time information to all education stakeholders, thus encouraging administrative efficiency, parental involvement and public oversight. The adoption of this system is proven to support more open and accountable management of finances, curriculum and infrastructure. However, there are significant challenges faced, such as limited digital infrastructure, low technological literacy of educators and data security issues. Therefore, the development of this system needs to be inclusive, sustainable and adaptive to local conditions to ensure the effectiveness of its implementation in Islamic education institutions.

Abstract

Moral education plays a strategic role in shaping students' character, particularly in integrated Islamic schools that integrate Islamic values into the learning process. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a crucial role as the primary agents in instilling moral values in students. This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping students' morals at SMPIT IFLAHAH AT THOYYIBAH, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of PAI teachers and students. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure the validity of the research findings. The results showed that the strategy for shaping students' morals was carried out through habituating religious behavior, teacher role models, providing advice, and integrating Islamic values into intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the use of technology and Islamic digital education also strengthens the internalization of students' moral values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's strategy in promoting literacy and numeracy through the KULINERS (Strong Literacy and Numeracy Tuesday) program at SMP Negeri 3 Sidikalang. This program emerged as a response to the low reading interest and numeracy achievement of students as shown in the Education Report Card. The principal acts as an instructional leader by initiating collaborative activities involving the entire school community.  The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with the principal as the key informant. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the principal acted as an instructional leader who initiated a program based on an analysis of the Education Report Card data and the actual conditions of the students; (2) the implementation strategy combined a collaborative approach with all school stakeholders and a structured activity format that integrated academic and character building; (3) this program has a significant impact on increasing learning motivation, active student participation, and the formation of discipline and responsibility. The KULINERS program can increase learning motivation, literacy and numeracy skills, and positive character traits such as discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. This innovation is a good practice that can be replicated to support the School Literacy Movement (GLS) and the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to explore teachers’ interpretations of disciplinary culture as a factor shaping performance at SDN Dermo I Bangil. The phenomenon of teacher discipline in elementary education is often viewed from an administrative perspective, yet it carries deeper meanings related to moral values and professional identity. This research employed a qualitative phenomenological approach, focusing on the lived experiences of teachers in internalizing and practicing discipline within their professional environment. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, involving three key informants—grade 2, 4, and 5 teachers—selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, revealing four main themes: (1) discipline as a moral and professional value, (2) disciplinary culture as the school’s collective identity, (3) discipline as a driver of teacher performance and student order, and (4) challenges in balancing administrative demands with intrinsic motivation. Discipline was perceived not merely as compliance with rules but as a form of moral responsibility and an expression of dedication to the teaching profession. The findings indicate that a morally grounded disciplinary culture plays a central role in sustaining teacher performance and school effectiveness. Theoretically, this study extends the understanding of meaning-making within educational organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on the performance of early childhood education (PAUD) educators in Taktakan District. Transformational leadership is considered capable of boosting educator motivation, commitment, and performance through inspirational and empowering influences. This study used a quantitative method with a causal comparative approach and a survey method. The sample size was 31 respondents, drawn from a total population of 151 early childhood education (PAUD) educators in Taktakan District. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on educator performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.832 and a significance level of 0.001 (p < 0.05). This indicates that 83% of the variation in educator performance can be explained by transformational leadership, thus transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on educator performance. Thus, transformational leadership is a crucial factor that needs to be continuously developed to improve the quality of early childhood education.

Abstract

The development of interpersonal intelligence in early childhood is a crucial aspect of shaping social and emotional competencies that support children's future success. This study aims to examine the influence of parental communication style on the interpersonal intelligence of early childhood students at PAUD Al-Mizan, Serang City. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 30 parents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Research instruments included a parental communication style questionnaire and an interpersonal intelligence questionnaire containing several indicators. Data analysis involved a linearity test, Pearson Product Moment correlation, and a t-test to determine the significance of the influence. The results indicated that parental communication style was generally in the moderate to high category, and children’s interpersonal intelligence also fell within the same range. The correlation test revealed a positive and significant relationship between parental communication style and children's interpersonal intelligence, with an r value of 0,361 (p < 0,05). The t-test further confirmed a significant influence, showing a t value of 3,205 greater than the critical value of 2,048 and p = 0,003. These findings conclude that parental communication style plays an essential role in fostering interpersonal intelligence in early childhood.
