Abstract

Salak is a tropical plant native to Indonesia whose fruit is liked by the public and has good prospects for cultivation. The development of salak in Padang Pangrapat Village, Paser Regency began in 1994, with seeds originating from Central Java so it is better known as "Salak Pondoh Super Paser". This observation aims to determine the identity of salak varieties in Padang Pangrapat Village. Observations were carried out in May – July 2022 by selecting 3 plant samples with 2 comparisons of RIP salak (Pondoh variety and Nglumut variety), the parameters observed were herb, leaf, flower, fruit and production characteristics. The activity was carried out through 2 stages, namely field observations and DNA testing. Based on observations of morphological characterization and DNA testing, the level of similarity between the salak of Padang Pangrapat Village and the Salak of the Nglumut variety was 85.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of stocking density on the performance of male laying hens reared with the pastured based system. One hundred and forty seven male laying hens strain Lohman brown age 14 days old put in 21 of 1m x 1m cage according to the treatment. The treatment used was stocking density consisting of K1: 5 bird/m2, K2: 7 bird/m2, K3: 9 bird/m2. The design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK). Parameters observed in the study were ration consumption (g/head/day), final weight (g/head), feed conversion and mortality (%). The results showed that the stocking density had a significant effect (P<0.05) on consumption, final weight and feed conversion but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the mortality rate.

Abstract

SMEs must have competitiveness in marketing strategies so that SMEs can survive in the midst of competition between SMEs. The role of digitization is very important for business owners in determining planning and decision-making strategies that will determine the competitiveness of SMEs. SMEs have difficulty in getting the right marketing digitalization technology solutions because SMEs do not have special staff who are experts in the dynamic field of information technology. Another obstacle is the large variety of technology media products used for marketing digitization. The purpose of this study is to find out how much interaction Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) know about digital media and how effective is marketing digitalization on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) based on Media Equation Theory analysis. Next, find out how the impact of digital marketing on sales volume for SMEs tofu in the village of Brani Kulon. This study uses a qualitative method with a Media Equation Theory approach. Researchers use this approach to be able to see the effectiveness of marketing digitalization of Tofu SMEs in the village of Brani Kulon. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kulitas tanah dan arah pemanfaatannya di lahan sawah. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai September sampai dengan November 2021 di lahan sawah Kelompok Tani Handil Sukamaju (Desa Cipta Graha, Kecamatan Kaubun, Kab Kutai Timur). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan penentuan kelas kualitas tanah menggunakan metode Lal. Analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mulawarman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan BV SPL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 tanpa faktor pembatas. Tekstur tanah Loam, Silty Loam - Silty Clay Loam. Porositas tanah 47,43% – 55,51%. pH tanah SPL 1, 2 dan 6, tergolong faktor tanpa pembatas hingga faktor pembatas sedang. SPL 3, 4, 5, 7 dan 8 tergolong faktor pembatas berat hingga faktor pembatas ekstrem. KTK SPL 1, 2, 6 tergolong faktor tanpa pembatas hingga faktor pembatas berat. SPL 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 tergolong faktor pembatas ekstrim. KB tanah seluruh SPL tergolong faktor pembatas ringan hingga faktor pembatas sedang. P tersedia seluruh SPL tergolong faktor pembatas ekstrim. N total seluruh SPL tergolong faktor pembatas sedang hingga faktor pembatas berat. C organik tergolong faktor pembatas ringan hingga faktor pembatas sedang. C-biomassa seluruh SPL tergolong faktor pembatas ekstrim. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sifat fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah yang disesuaikan dengan faktor pembatas dan bobot relatif maka diperoleh hasil Indeks Kualitas Tanah : SPL 1, 2, 5 dan 6 tergolong kualitas tanah sedang, SPL 3, 4, 7 dan 8 tergolong kualitas tanah buruk. Perbaikan kualitas tanah dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian bahan organik dari limbah pertanian

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan mulai dari januari sampai April 2022, lokasi penelitian bertempat di desa kerayaan bual-bual kecamatan sangkulirang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai macam media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao (Theobroma cacao L). Penelitian dengan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non factorial yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Adapun perlakuan terdiri dari K0= tanpa perlakuan, K1= media tanam bokasi, K2= media tanam kotoran ayam, K3= media tanam kotoran sapi dan K4= media tanam kotoran kambing. Semua hasil perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan diameter batang pada umur 20 HST, 40 HST, 60 HST dan 80 HST. Adapun media tanam yang cocok untuk pertumbuhan bibit kakao adalah media tanam kotoran ayam

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis cadangan karbon atas permukaan pada areal yang akan dilakukan land clearing oleh perusahaan industri methanol di Sekerat Kecamatan Bengalon, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif. Analisis tutupan lahan dilakukan dengan penerapan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis dan analisis karbon atas permukaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan persamaan allometrik. Hasil ditemukan sebanyak 12 jenis tipe tutupan lahan. Pada 7 jenis tipe tutupan lahan tersebut merupakan areal non vegetasi yaitu lahan kosong, pemukiman, bangunan industri, rumput rawa, jalan hauling, jalan raya, dan danau memiliki total luasan sebesar 222,09 ha. Pada 5 tipe tutupan lahan lainnya merupakan areal bervegetasi yaitu hutan lahan basah sekunder, hutan lahan kering sekunder, semak belukar, mangrove dan hutan pantai dengan luas total 855,70 ha. Berdasarkan analisis diketahui cadangan karbon atas permukaan total 176,80 ton/ha. Cadangan karbon terbesar ditemukan pada hutan lahan kering sekunder sebesar 46,11 ton/ha dan terkecil pada semak belukar sebesar 0,34 ton/ha.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of astaxanthin that added to rebon flour feed on the color quality and performance of koi fish fry and to determine the appropriate dose of astaxanthin addition to the feed. This experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD), consisted of four treatments and three replications. The treatments was the addition of astaxanthin in the rebon flour feed. Each treatments added astaxanthin 0%, 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%. Fish color in each treatment was observed using a modified Tocca Color Finder (TCF) and Adobe Photoshop software. The results of this study indicate that the addition of astaxanthin to the rebon flour feed gave a significantly different effect on to color level based on TCF and red color dimensions (P<0,05). However, there was not a significantly different on to survival rate and growth rate. The results of this study also showed that the addition of 0.1% astaxanthin gave the best color for koi fish fry.

Abstract

This study was performed in November 2021 to January 2022 at the Hydrooceanography laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Mulawarman, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Fish samples of the study were collected from local fishers landed Fish Landing Ports (Pelabuhan Pendaratan Ikan, PPI) at Tanjung Limau Bontang and Toko Lima Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan. The aims of the study were to identify species of fish samples, to observe morphometric and meristic characters and to know the relationship between otolith sizes and fish sizes. The number of fish samples was 74 ind; all samples were measured and weighed; to know fish species of fish studied, identification was done on the basis of morphometric and meristic characters such as truss distance and fish length, hard and soft rays and specific signs found on the body was referring to research reports, related publication and fish identification manual. All fish otoliths were gathered from dissection of certain part of head, taken by forcep and measured by caliper, weigheg by digital scale, photograph with USB camera, fish distribution was known with calculating statistic descriptive,while the relationship between fish otolith size and fish size was analyzed using bivariate linear model. Results of laboratory observation, fish sample of the study consisted of Kakap Tompel Lutjanus russellii, Kakap Bakau L. argentimaculatus dan Kakap Merah L. gibbus; generally, fish sizes ranged from 34.68 – 2120.00 g; total length 12.20 - 51.20 cm, fish otolith weight 0.03 – 1.90 g; otolith lenght 0.47-1.96 cm; width 0.31-1.90 cm dan height of otolith 0.11-0.61 cm. After size of otoliths and the fish samples of the fish grouper were analyzed, the study showed that the otolith size followed the size of fish. Abstract

The use of inorganic fertilizers will provide hotter temperatures than using organic fertilizers. The higher nutrient content causes this in inorganic fertilizers than in organic fertilizers. High and low soil temperatures will affect plant growth; the higher the soil temperature, the faster the growth of plants. This study aims to analyze the results of developing water spinach plants grown using COSIWA liquid organic fertilizer and NPK liquid inorganic fertilizer. The design of this study was the measurement of soil temperature and plant height based on soil depth in organically fertilized soils using COSIWA and inorganic fertilizers using liquid NPK. The data generated were measurements of soil temperature for 12 hours and observations of plant stem length, leaf color, stem condition, and plant freshness for four weeks. This study showed that water spinach plants grown using COSIWA liquid organic fertilizer had a lower soil temperature of 32.2 oC compared to kale plants grown using NPK liquid inorganic fertilizer, namely 32.2 oC. In addition, the growth of water spinach plants grown using COSIWA liquid organic fertilizer and water spinach plants grown using liquid inorganic fertilizer NPK showed almost the same growth results as seen from the observations on plant length, leaf condition, stem condition, and plant freshness. Abstract

Inventarisasi hutan yang merupakan bagian penting dalam perencanaan hutan dapat dilakukan secara terestris dan penginderaan jauh. Teknologi penginderaan jauh terus berkembang diantararanya drone. Dengan resolusi spasial yang tinggi menjadikan citra drone semakin banyak dimanfaatkan pada berbagai bidang termasuk kehutanan dalam hal mengidentifikasi jenis vegetasi. Pada penelitian ini citra drone digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis vegetasi Mahang (Macaranga gigantea) dan Puspa (Schima walichii).Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui informasi dari kunci interpretasi vegetasi Mahang dan Puspa, Mengetahui informasi dari hasil persentase uji akurasi vegetasi Mahang dan Puspa, Melakukan pemetaan sebaran dari vegetasi Mahang dan Puspa. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kantitatif dengan mengelola hasil uji akurasi dengan membandingkan hasil interpretasi dan pengecekan lapangan. Pada uji akurasi dibuktikan bahwasannya hanya vegetasi Mahang yang dapat teridentifikasi yang menghasilkan persentase uji akurasi sebesar 93%, sedangkan vegetasi puspa tidak dapat teridentifikasi dikarenakan persentase uji akurasi hanya mencapai 20%. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi dibuktikan bahwasannya jumlah populasi mahang yang terdapat di kawasan KHDTK yaitu sebanyak 3469 individu, dimana jumlah rata-rata individu dari vegetasi Mahang yaitu sebanyak 11 individu/hektar dimana individu paling sedikit yaitu sebanyak 1 individu dan jumlah individu terbanyak yaitu sebanyak 43 individu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu hanya vegetasi Mahang yang dapat teridentifikasi dikarenkan korelasi antara persentase uji akurasi dan keberhasilan kunci interpretasi, dimana persentase uji akurasi vegetasi Mahang mencapai 93% .
