Abstract

Dengan adanya pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan efisien dan sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik, maka akan membuat peserta didik merasa senang dalam proses pembelajaran terutama pelajaran sejarah. Berdasarkan keterbatasan media pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Kartikatama Metro menjadi salah satu hambatan yang membuat siswa kurang minat dalam belajar sehingga menurunkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran sejarah lokal berbasis visualisasi kolonisasi Metro. Media pembelajaran dikembangkan sesuai dengan sistematika dan standar kriteria kelayakan visualisasi. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) Sugiono level 1, dimana penelitian pengembangan ini membuat produk tanpa menguji ke lapangan secara eksternal. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa media pembelajaran berbasis visualisasi kolonisasi Metro sebagai pendukung proses pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA Kartikatama Metro telah dinyatakan layak dan dapat diuji coba untuk peserta didik kelas XI SMA Kartikatama Metro. Produk hasil pengembangan dinyatakan layak setelah melalui tahap validasi ahli materi dan desain dimana persentase akhir dari ahli materi mendapat 93,3% dan persentase akhir dari ahli desain mendapat 88,6% atau pada kategori Sangat Kuat yang artinya media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan telah layak untuk diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik kelas XI SMA Kartikatama Metro.

Abstract

Economic and trade cooperation between Indonesia and Indochinese countries (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand) has great potential to strengthen regional economic relations and encourage economic growth in Southeast Asia. As part of ASEAN, these countries seek to increase economic integration through various bilateral and multilateral agreements and cooperation. This article will answer the existing problem formulation regarding how Indonesia collaborates with Indochina in the existing economy and trade. The author also used library research in writing this article by collecting many sources through journals and other websites. With the conclusion, the author finds that economic and trade cooperation between Indonesia and Indochinese countries shows positive developments, but there are still many challenges that need to be overcome. Factors such as policy harmonization, infrastructure improvements, and institutional strengthening play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of this cooperation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of Herman Willem Daendels in the Dutch East Indies while he was governor general in politics in 1808-1811. Starting from the bankruptcy of the VOC in the Dutch East Indies, the appointment of Daendels as leader in the Dutch Indies to the policies implemented by Daendles while leading, especially in the political field. The research method uses historical or historical methods in the form of descriptive narrative through 4 stages of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography (historical writing). Based on research results, Herman Willem Daendels' role in the political field was to carry out significant administrative reforms. Daendels changed the previously decentralized administrative system to a more centralized one, establishing a new, more efficient bureaucracy by introducing salaries for regents as colonial government employees, trying to reduce the level of corruption that was rampant during the VOC government and increasing their loyalty and performance by providing appropriate compensation and abolishing feudal structures and overhauling power relations between the Dutch East Indies government and local rulers in Java. This research provides insight into the role of Herman Willem Daendels in the Dutch East Indies while he was governor general, especially in the political field in 1808-1811.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab rendahnya minat belajar dan mencari solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik pada jam terakhir pelajaran sejarah. Adapun populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Metro kelas XI MIPA 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 36 orang, dengan rincian 24 orang peserta didik perempuan dan 12 orang peserta didik laki-laki. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan statistic. Sedangkan teknik pengambilan adalah dengan menggunankan penyebaran angket dan observasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diketahui bahwa rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 2 pada jam terakhir disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu peserta didik yang sudah merasa lelah, merasa kenyang setelah makan siang, bermain handphone, dan juga metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, peneliti kemudian menggunkaan metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) yang berupa permainan monopoli sejarah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi permainan monopoli sejarah dalam pembelajaran sejarah di jam terakhir, berhasil meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat pada data hasil angket yang didapatkan terjadi peningkatan dari pra siklus 38,19% (rendah), kemudian pada Siklus I meningkat menjadi 52,08% (cukup), dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 67,36% (tinggi).

Abstract

This research discusses the role of Sekala Brak Kingdom in shaping the cultural identity of Lampung people through the Four Kepaksian system (Pernong, Belunguh, Nyerupa, and Bejalan Di Way). Using a qualitative approach, data was obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results showed that customary values such as Piil Pesenggiri (self-esteem), Nemu Nyimah (hospitality), Sakai Sambayan (mutual cooperation), and Bejuluk Beadek (respect for identity) remain relevant in people's lives. However, the challenges of modernisation and the lack of regeneration of traditional leaders threaten the sustainability of these traditions. Preservation strategies such as multicultural education and the development of culture-based tourism are proposed to maintain the heritage values of the Sekala Brak Kingdom. This research confirms the importance of maintaining social harmony and local culture in the midst of globalisation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar sejarah peserta didik kelas X.E.2, untuk mengatasi permasalahan perlu dilakukan tindakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Times Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan minat belajar sejarah peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Times Games Tournament (TGT) di SMAN 1 Pringsewu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus pembelajaran, siklus I dilaksanakan dalam 3 kali pertemuan dan siklus II dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali pertemuan yang dalam setiap siklusnya terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X.E.2 SMAN 1 Pringsewu yang berjumlah 36 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat belajar sejarah dengan penerapan model Times Games Tournament (TGT) sebesar 14,26%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan model Times Games Tournament (TGT) sebesar 15,41%.

Abstract

The reign of Sultan Hamengkubawana II in 1808-1811 was full of political turmoil from within and outside the palace. The feud with Daendels was a cold war between the Sultan who was stubborn and unwilling to submit to the Company. The Dutch wanted to create a new order for their colony with the changes they made. Yogyakarta, with Sultan Hamengkubawana II refusing, certainly received some pressure which resulted in unprecedented turmoil. This research will focus on the conflict that occurred between the Sultan and the Dutch. In addition, this research also reviews the internal conflicts that occurred in the palace. The internal conflicts that occurred in the palace also had the role of the Dutch. This research chooses the background time between 1808 and 1811. During this period, the Kasultanan Yogyakarta was in turmoil.  In no less than three years, there was a colonial leadership that occupied Java and caused changes that had never happened before. Namely by the French-Dutch envoy, Herman Willem Daendels as Governor General of the Dutch East Indies. The analysis of this period is quite important considering that Yogyakarta would experience a new era of governmental order in a relatively short period of time.

Abstract

Character education, in general, is still at the level of memorizing or introducing values but has not yet reached the level of appreciation of values, let alone to the level of making these values individual commitments in life in today's digital era. The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of character education from the perspective of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and its relevance in the digital era. The method used is literature study, data analysis uses content analysis, and descriptive studies related to character education according to KH. Hasyim Asy'ari uses primary and secondary data sources obtained from previous studies in the form of books or journals. The results of the study explain that character education according to KH. Hasyim Asy'ari who focuses on Islamic education is to make a complete human being who has a balance between strong faith and knowledge, high scientific competence, is mentally strong, and has good social mental toughness in the family, school, and community environment. This concept is certainly relevant to be internalized in today's digital era to become human beings who are adaptive to the times and still maintain noble character values.

Abstract

Rumah Tradisional Nuwo Balak merupakan rumah tradisional Lampung, ciri khas kebudayaan di Desa Wana Lampung Timur yang sampai saat ini masih terus dilestarikan oleh masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai eksotis, struktur ragam hias dan makna simolis pada hunian rumah tradisional Lampung di Desa Wana Lampung Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai eksotis yang berupa ukiran dan ornamen yang terdapat pada dinding Rumah Nuwo Balak akan melewati berbagai proses perencanaan yang matang dan tidak terlepas dari adat istiadat yang telah ditetapkan sebagai sumber hukum yang berlaku di masyarakat. Struktur ragam hias dari ornamen rumah tradisional Nuwo Balak terdapat tiga jenis bentuk yaitu geometris, fauna dan flora. Selain untuk memenuhi fungsi estetik, struktur ragam hias juga bermakna simbolik yang berfungsi sebagai media rupa untuk menyampaikan pesan. Sedangkan makna simbolis yang terdapat dalam Rumah Nuwo Balak dimaknai sebagai tanda status sosial, makna dan harapan suatu tujuan, misalnya harapan kekuatan, kemenangan, kesejahteraan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis representasi nasionalisme dari salah satu channel Youtube Mektv Kendari terkait Diskusi Kebangsaan terkait Peringatan Kemerdekaan RI Tahun 2022 dengan kajian semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Representasi nasionalisme dalam pemberitaan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan analisis semiotic sebagai pendekatannya. Semiotika Pierce yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah model triangle meaning yang terdiri atas Sign, Objective dan Intrepetant. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa nasionalisme hari ini sudah banyak memudar dan peringatan Kemerdekaan RI ini adalah momentum baik dalam menguprade ulang nasionalisme hari ini dengan Legiun Veteran RI menjadi salah satu unsur bangsa ini yang turut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan semangat nasionalisme masyarakat hari ini.
