Abstract

This research was implemented because of the burnout and boredom Economics students to receive lessons because teachers only use the lecture method without any other study variation and only rely on one textbook as a source of learning. In addition, many students are reluctant to read the text book because the book is less interesting and too many posts. SMA Negeri 1 Panggul Trenggalek have been had some enough electronic facilities, but it not used optimally by the teachers in learning process. The E-Module research and development model used is ADDIE. Model with five steps, that is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the development of this Economics E Module involves the validation of material expert and media experts from Economics professor and lecturer who are competent in the learning media. In addition, the subject of the trial in this research are all students in Tenth Grade A that about of 32 students. The result of the research and validation of material expert and media expert shows that the Econimics E-Module on Money and Banking Material is fit for use. Based on the result of pre test and post test that was gave to students before and after using the Economics E-Module indicates that E-Module is effectively used to improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

Recently, financial literacy has became everyone’s compulsory need in managing as well as devising their finance. This research aims to know (1) How do gender, GPA, and semester influence financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students partially? (2) How do gender, GPA, and semester influence financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students simultaneously? This research used descriptive quantitative approach. The population is sarjana’s degree students of Development Economic in Universitas Negeri Malang on 2011-2014 generation. Furthermore, the sample of this research is 118 respondents from 2011 to 2014 generation by using quota sampling techniques. The data is collected by using questionnaires in which has been examined through validity and reliability test. Research’s results are: (1) Gender has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (2) GPA has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (3) Student’s semester has positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students, (4) Gender, GPA, and student’s semester have positive and significant impacts to financial literacy of sarjana’s degree students simultaneously. The researcher suggests that next researcher may add other independent variables, which is related to financial literacy, so that the research would be more advanced.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick on the subjects of Economics students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang, (2) to determine whether the application of cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang.This research is a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. research subjects are students of class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Lawang academic year 2015/2016 totaling 35 students. Methods of data collection in this study using observation, test questions, interviews, field notes, and documentation.The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects. To increase students' cognitive aspects, can be seen from the pre-test and post-test cycle I and cycle II. At the time of the pre-test the first cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 2 (5.71%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 28 people (80%). At the time of the pre-test cycle II, the number of students who completed as many as five people (14.2%), whereas in post-test complete student number increased to 32 (91.4%). Overall, the average results of post-test cycle I and II increased by 6.5%. Besides being able to improve student learning outcomes affective and cognitive aspects.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to describe the influence ofeconomic study result, family environment and colleague on efficiency toconsume student class X Social Science Senior High School 1 Tumpangduring 2015/2016 learning period. The research metodology used isquantitative descriptive with exsplanation format. The instrument used in thisresearch was tests and questionnaires. The number of respondents are 95students. The data were analyzed using SPSS 21 For Windows.Based on theanalysis of data obtained the following results : (1) there is influence betweeneconomic study result (X1) with efficiency to consume (Y) about 2,76%. (2)there is influence between family environment (X2) with efficiency to consume(Y) about 26,6643%. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of brainstormingmethod in group investigation model in Economic subjects and improvementof activity and learning result of students of class X IPS 3 SMAN 1 Batu.Methods of data collection using observation, test questions and field notesand analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique. The result of this researchare: (1) improvement of student activity 18,71% from cycle I to cycle II, thatis 63.30% cycle I and 82.31% cycle II; (2) the improvement of studentlearning outcomes is 22.22% from cycle I to cycle II, which is marked by theincrease of 70.37% complete student in cycle I and increased to 92.59%cycle II. Implementation of brainstorming method in group investigationmodel is expected to be used as an alternative model of economical learningthat is more innovative to improve student activeness. It is also expected thatEconomics teachers should implement the implementation of this learningmodel not only on the discussion of payment system and non-cash paymentinstruments only, but for other materials that have problems and materialsrelated to the daily life of the students so that students are easier to find thelatest information needed to be used as reference material. The results of thisstudy are expected to be used by other researchers as a reference in carryingout the development of similar research. Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of Quantum Learning study with combination of Mind Mapping technique (Mind Mapping) and think pair share in the learning process, describe improving student learning outcomes, as well as describing the students' response to the application of learning. Research procedure includes pratindakan, the first cycle and the second cycle. Quantum Learning teaching and learning of the perpaduaan between mind mapping technique (Mind Mapping) and Think Pair Share to improve learning outcomes of economic class X IPS 2 SMAN 8 Malang can be applied in the learning process very well and have an impact on student learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes classical mastery of the first cycle to the second cycle of 27.3%. Completeness of student learning outcomes classical first cycle an average of 60.6%, the second cycle average rose to 87.9%. Student learning outcomes first cycle an average of 70.9 and the second cycle the average rose to 84.2. The application of this study received a positive response.

Abstract

Student consumption activities Prodi Economic Education in addition to the purposes of study, consumption activities are also carried out to support the appearance. This research aims to discover (1) how is the motive of the transactions in the purchase of food and fashion products, (2) how the strategy to allocate the allowances of the students of Faculty of Economic Education, State University of Malang. This study uses a qualitative method with the kind of phenomenology, the snowball sampling technique. and uses snowball-sampling technique. The data was collected by doing an interview and documentation, and the data was analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of this research are, firstly, motif transaction in the purchase of a meal, the students of Faculty of Economic Education choose where to eat certain then documented and published in social media, Secondly, motif transaction in the purchase of fashion products, there is a student who is often influenced by friends, trends, brand, advertising and discounts. Thirdly, there are students who create a list for their consumption planning, and there are students who do not in allocating their allowances as the strategies used by the students of Faculty of Economic Education.

Abstract

This research is done with the objective to develop Audio Visual Comics instructional media which can be used in Economics learning in senior high school with foreign currency exchage rate subject. Research and development model used in this reaearch is Borg & Gall model with 3 kinds of validity tests. Those tests are subject test, media test, and product trial test. Product trial test consist of small group test and field test. The collecting of the validity data is using questionnaire and written test instrument. Based on the result of the research can be concluded that Audio Visual Comics has judged very appropriate to be used in economics learning either in subject aspect, media aspect and its effectivity in classroom.

Abstract

Education in boarding schools having own way educate school tuition or of the so-called santri , santri learned about general studies and live a daily lives in the neighborhood pondok pesantren .Consumption patterns in boarding schools influenced by many factors such as knowledge basic economic, and environment boarding schools. Population in research it is a whole santriwan IIS MA Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ulum poor were 57 santriwan .Sample in this research using all population. The kind of research that is used is research eksplanasi , with technical linear regression analysis worship of idols .Variable research among other: the economics basic knowledge (X1), perception of boarding school (X2), and consumption behavior (Y). Using techniques data collection tests and survey or questionnaire. The conclusion of research is (1) basic knowledge economy influential significantly to consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang. (2) boarding schools environmental effect significantly to consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang. Basic knowledge economy and the environment boarding schools significant against consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang. Abstract

Cognitive ability is a behavior that emphasizes the intellectual aspects, aswell as the knowledge, understanding, and the thinking of students inlearning. To measure the cognitive abilities of students using text reading,the study raced on Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The purpose of this studywas to determine the level of students' cognitive abilities as measured bytests such as reading texts give the economy and about the description.This research uses a qualitative approach research with descriptivephenomenology. The subjects were students of class XI IPSK3 SMAN 10Malang totaling 29 students. Data collection techniques used in this studyinclude observation, testing, documentation and assessment rubrics.Meanwhile, data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, andconclusion. Based on the survey results revealed that out of 29 studentswho take cognitive tests found 29 students who were able to reach a stageof cognitive ability at level C1, C2, and C3. Of the 29 students who takecognitive tests were seven students were able to achieve levels of C4 areanalyzed, four students on the test 1 that the reading "of the economy inIndonesia is not inferior to other States" and three students on test 2 on thereading "of fuel in one direction". It also happens to students who aredifferent. Of the 29 students who take cognitive tests there are studentswho are able reach stage is to evaluate the C5 and C6 are creating. Fromthese results, it can be conclusion that the cognitive abilities of students inreading texts economy reached an average level of C3 that apply.DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v10i12017p038
