Abstract

This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach (naturalistic). Dig up information about the economic transformation of education and learning among members of the KSU "Jaya Abadi" in the village Bendosari Sanankulon Blitar District of both administrators and members. Respondents in this study is pioneering "KSU Jaya Abadi" and members of "KSU Jaya Abadi". Data collection techniques with interview, observation and documentation. These results indicate that the process of non-formal education coupled with economic education / learning among member economies in the form of the application of the knowledge gained from learning from the experiences of others who developed technically and leads to an increase in the income of farmers.

Abstract

Interest in entrepreneurship is a desire and a sense of interest to entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship interest identified in keinginann to be a good entrepreneur and trying to develop the ability to look and see business opportunities, gather the resources needed to make something more useful and can take keuntunngan. Interest in entrepreneurship in students can be nurtured and developed at school through the learning economy, besides one of them also through the facilities provided by the school as a place of business or a business that is in school, the school cooperative. This study aims to explain the influence of the independent variable is participation in the cooperative school students and student learning outcomes on economic subjects and entrepreneurship chapter dependent variable is the students' interest in entrepreneurship either partially or simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a kind of explanatory research and the sample amounted to 88 students drawn from the primary data source and using the questionnaire technique. The results using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16.00 for Windows indicates that the data are normally distributed, besides the independent variable has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable the percentage coefficient of determination of 66.6%.

Abstract

In the daily life, humans cannot be separated with economics activity to fulfil varying of their needs which are not balanced with the available resources, so they have to behave rationally in economic activity, especially consumption. This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy against rationality of consumption behaviour’s students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang.This research used quantitative approach with explanation research. The population are students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang with a sample of 54 students is calculated using Slovin Formula and sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The data were obtained through questionnaires and written test. To analyze the data, this research used multiple linear regression analyze technique. The result in this research showed: (1) allowance management affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (2) modernity affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (3) emotional quotient affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (4) economic literacy affects the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang, (5) allowance management, modernity, emotional quotient, and economic literacy affect simultaneously to the rationality of consumption behaviour for students in the 10th grade of Social Science MAN 1 Malang.

Abstract

Consumption behavior, also known as consumption patterns, is a way for someone to fulfill all her needs by buying and using goods and services required to meet the rational needs.thus, in order to fullfill the need, someone should choose what will be consumed so as not to buy anything that is not in use and buy something excessive or often called consumptive behavioral. Consumption behavior of students is influenced by several factors such as the parents 'attention, the response to the advertisement, the intensity of the peers, and students' understanding on economic subjects. Accordingly, it is necessary discussion about the influence of parental attention, the response to the advertisement, the intensity of peers, and students' understanding on economic subject on consumption behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to know the quality of learning device ofeconomic teacher learning in Public High School and Private atTulungagung Regency; (2) to know the quality of the implementation ofeconomics teacher learning in Public High School and Private atTulungagung Regency; (3) to know the quality of evaluation of economicteacher learning in Public High School and Private at Tulungagung Regency.This research uses evaluation approach. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to describe some of the things that include student difficulties in understanding the Economics subject and efforts to overcome the problems for the tenth grade students of Social Studies 1 at SMA Islam Kepanjen. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Checking the validity of data use a tringulation. Based on the analysis of data obtained in the study area, it obtained 4 following conclusions: (1) students’ difficulty in understanding the Economics material is only on the material of SHU (Business Profits) calculation. (2) the cause of the students’ difficulties in understanding the economy material is influenced by several reasons such as: first, the lack of interest of students to study Economics. Second, students do not have books or text books to support economic study, which owned only the record books. Third, students are burdened with too much school work, so that students find it hard to learn and eventually lazy to learn Economic. Fourth, students are less able to understand the material surrounding Economic existing calculation formula, such as the material count of Business (SHU). Fifth, the potential intelligence of students who have difficulty in understanding the material is included in the category Economy average down. Students who are potential intelligence belonging to the low could be difficulty in learning the material calculating, especially if the count was a lot.; (3) the efforts of students in overcoming the difficulty in understanding the Economic subject to study in groups with class mates who are more familiar and ask for help or ask the teacher a field of study that described the material back and taught the ways of solving problems calculating the SHU; (4) the efforts of teachers in overcoming the students’ difficulties in understanding the Economics subject is first, by giving assistance during the process of learning in the classroom is the teacher explains the return of material that has not been understood by the students because it can help students to learn the material, and so students can finish practice questions that had been given. Second, teachers also provide motivation during the learning process in the classroom by way of gift giving. Giving gifts is done so that students are more eager to learn Economics, so that students can take pleasure in learning in the classroom.

Abstract

The ability of teachers to manage a class which the teacher is very important to create and maintain a learning conditions and activities become optimal in case of disturbances during the learning process. This study is to determine the ability of classroom management examined included the ability to provide responsiveness, dividing attention, focusing groups, provide clear guidance, reprimand, provide reinforcement, behavior modification, manage groups, find and solve behavior that cause problems, and avoid some of the mistakes in the classroom. This research method was using descriptive qualitative approach, type of research used in this research was phenomenology. The subjects in this study is one of the economic teacher in grade X SMAN 8 Malang which certified and the students of grade X. The research instruments used were observation and interviews. Methods of data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Analysis of data using Data Reduction, Presentation of Data, and collecting Conclusions and Verification. Research results show that the ability of teachers in the management of economic subjects in grade X SMAN 8 Malang have been effective. Meanwhile in response attitude indicator, dividing attention, focusing groups, give clear instructions, admonishing student, provide reinforcement, behavior modification, manage groups, find and solve behavior that cause problems, and avoid some of the mistakes in the classroom have been effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between socio-economic variables of parents and the motivation of students to study in college. Number of dependents and family support stand as intermediate variable, which connects to theanother one, namely student motivation. The subject of this research was the high school students of class 11, and 12 including their parents in three regencies: Belu, TTU, and TTS. Using path analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between education, employment, income, and savings and the motivation of students. Variable of number of dependents have negative relationship but are significant with motivation of students. It also happened when the testing was done through the intermediate variable (indirect relation), that only a dependent and the family support variables have negative relationship with the motivation of students.

Abstract

Classroom management is very important since with a good class management teacher can control the teaching and leaning process even with some distractions. So the teaching and learning process can be effective and fulfill the aims that has been planed by the teacher. This study use descriptive qualitative method. The subject in this study are 11th grade economic teacher in SMA Laboratorium UM and students in 11th IPS grade. Data collection method use in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis use in this study are data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The result of the study show that economic teachers’ classroom management skill in 11th IPS grade on SMA Laboratorium UM is good. Teacher is already well in conditioning the class. Teacher need more communicative in creating good communication with students. In managing classroom discussions teacher need to provide games and motivation to students. Abstract

Facing growing competition in the age of education right now, all partiesneed to equate the thinking and attitudes to promote improved qualityeducation. then as the author of I want to know how far the level ofprofessionalism of teachers in study refers to Permendiknas the year of 2007that already assigned. The author would like to know how the professional inlearning ranging from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Here theauthor took rumusah problems about the application of professional teachersin the planning, implementation and evaluation and then coupled with asupporting factor and the factor restricting teachers become professional.From the results that have been obtained through observation anddocumentation indicate that economics teacher at SMAN 1 Sooko still not besaid because of the four professional competence set forth in thisGovernment Department, second economics teacher This is not yet able tomeet all of them, like the relationship with a less harmonious society, andalso the relationship of fellow teachers who have not undertaken smoothly,then the results of the second study video recording the teacher hadn't meetthe hours of lessons on the set, and also still using learning methodsaccording to the learners tend to be boring, thus there are 6 factors thatsupport the success ofachieving professional teacher SMAN 1 Sooko i.e.factor the presence of expertise each teacher, community support, a factor ofdukngan colleagues as teachers, government intervention, the demands ofthe teachers ' code of ethics, and the last factor is the scrutiny of theDepartment of education. In addition there is a supporting factor there isdefinitely a factor that inhibits a teacher could become a professionalatSMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto, factors such a barrier is the lack of fulfillmentof the hour lesson, there is a lack of social interaction, the relationship is notgood against fellow teachers, and also the use of inappropriate methods oflearning in students. This indicates that the economics teacher at SMAN 1Sooko from the four competenciesno one has perfectly fulfilled, since thereare many challenges from within and from outside the teacher, but werecommend that teachers must be better learn to understand the conditionsenvironment, and also the feedback from learners over what has beenpresented so these existing barrier factor can be reduced and economicsteacher at SMAN 1 Sooko growing professional, and this is also a reflectionfor authors in particular for increasingly encouraged as to how these fourcompetencies will be fulfilled properly if the author worked as educators.Stanford University was set upin order for educators that is really able tomeet the province's existing competencies, because teachers are professionalin produce with the fulfillment of the four competencies that already exist. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v10i12017p046
