Furthermore, the journal accepts research and academic discussions across a broad range of subject matter within education, including mathematics education, religious education, language pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), natural sciences, social sciences, history, chemistry, and other related educational disciplines. Abstract

Many studies have been conducted to evaluate the nonintegrated approach. Each model claimed to have certain advantages, but the current research used a combined social science learning model called Stufflebeam's CIPP (context, input, process, and product) model, which included input, process, and product components due its comprehensiveness in assessment and students’ interest based. The assessment model appropriate for Integrated Social Studies learning programs in public middle schools because it could fulfil pedagogical aspects for students in schools.  The research group included respondents from eight public middle schools, as well as school administrators, 16 instructors, and 350 pupils. Documentation, questionnaires, and tests are examples of data gathering methods. Content validity is tested using expert opinion, construct validity is tested using a limited test and evaluated using Product Moment correlation, and reliability is tested using Cronbach Alpha. The SPSS software is used to perform data analysis methods such as descriptive statistics. 20. The development of a combined social study learning program evaluation model for public middle schools yielded outstanding assessment criteria. The quality of integrated social studies learning inputs includes: teachers’ competence, students’ motivation, and infrastructure, which are all very good categories; the quality of integrated social studies learning processes, which include initial activities, core activities, and closing activities, which are all excellent categories; and product quality (results) integrated social studies learning includes: attitude competencies, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

This examination is advancement research that expects to configuration learning media that contains appraisals in hand to hand fighting contests, particularly combative techniques and particularly aiding the field of sports science, particularly in the field of refereeing and sports accomplishments in North Sumatra. An application that contains assessments in both legal and illegal pencak silat competitions is the form of the developed media. These assessments are presented in the form of videos and match scoring. Additionally, the application includes a useful assessment of fundamental martial arts and martial arts techniques for use in classes. This thought emerged when specialists wanted to expect to discover that was more viable and proficient, as well as valuable for selecting contender for combative techniques and hand to hand fighting officials. The distribution of training materials for martial arts referees can also benefit from this application, particularly in the field of refereeing. The information displayed in this study is a correlation of the viability of the learning model for every mark of the evaluation of the new learning model (in the wake of utilizing the application) more successful than the old learning model (prior to utilizing the application). The new learning model has an efficiency of 85.71 percent, while the old learning model has an efficiency of 60 percent. The old learning model's average effectiveness of implementation indicators was 50%, while the new model's average effectiveness was 70%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the new learning model is superior to the old learning model (previous to using a drill machine) after using a drill machine.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the curriculum development management policies in the Indonesian Army's Infantry Education Center and Cavalry Education Center to enhance the quality of education curricula. This research employs a qualitative approach, using management and quality theories as analytical instruments. The management functions, including planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring, are phased out according to these theories. Data collection procedures involve interviews, document analysis, and observations. The research findings reveal key aspects of the planning phase that need optimization. The combination of critical thinking and experience can lead to wisdom. Comparative studies can be beneficial when positive elements can be applied within educational institutions. Based on the research results, it is recommended that an organization that functions as a quality assurance body within the Infantry Education Center and Cavalry Education Center be established. Continuous human resource quality enhancement is also suggested to improve curriculum quality development management. It is hoped that various challenges in education implementation can be overcome, ultimately achieving the effective and efficient development of curricula.

Abstract

This research uses a social history method with a qualitative research type to determine the role and development of the Huffazh Center Indonesia (HCI) in forming a generation of quality hafiz and hafizah amidst the dynamics of Islamic education in the 21st century. In the context of the 21st century, the importance of Al-Qur'an education in shaping the character and morals of Muslims is increasingly recognized, and evolutionary trends in Islamic education, especially memorizing the Koran, have become the main focus of this research. This article will provide a significant contribution to thinking and discussion regarding the future of Islamic education in Indonesia, by providing in-depth insight into the role of HCI in forming a quality generation and overcoming the educational and social challenges faced. Holistic approach, flexible curriculum and transparent fund management at HCI emphasizes the importance of tahfidz Al-Qur'an education as a means of maintaining religious and moral values and meeting the spiritual needs of society in facing changing times.

Abstract

The era of the COVID-19 pandemic is the gateway to the famous online learning system. With the rapid development of educational technology and the familiarity of lecturers and students with this system, this method will become permanent in the future. By utilizing diverse learning mediums, blended learning will be a possibility. However, not all instructors are capable of designing courses in this manner. One of them is studying scientific paper writing. Since it was able to optimize this learning based on scientific studies, the project-based learning model was chosen to be paired with blended learning. To get a learning model that suits your needs requires a needs analysis. The purpose of this research was to gather information about students' needs to design blended learning models mixed with project-based learning to boost student creativity and productivity in writing. Scientific papers at the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. A survey method was used in this investigation. A questionnaire was utilized to obtain the data. The sample for this study was collected on purpose. There were 172 students in the research sample. The data analysis methodologies employed were qualitative and quantitative. The study's findings indicate that students require blended learning and project-based learning structures.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine whether the usage of YouTube can influence non-English students' self–confidence in speaking English. Besides, it increased non-English students' speaking quality when uploaded to YouTube. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data is taken using the test. The data in the form of numbers are described in a complete and detailed explanation and description. The result of this research found three categories of non–English speaking students. They are very good, good, and not good category. The range of very good categories between 76% - 100% was found in 12 students who achieved this score. The content of the good category between 56% - 75% was found in 16 students who achieved this score. The range of the not-good category was between 40% and 55%, with only two students in this category. Using YouTube can improve non-English students' speaking skills and increase their self-confidence to be brave when speaking on social media.

Abstract

Students’ perception is highly important to evaluate the learning materials. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of using the intercultural learning material in the drama subject. The population of this research was the sixth-semester students of the English Department at Pasir Pengaraian University. The sample of this research was obtained by total sampling technique. The sample of this research was 34 students. The instrument of this research was the questionnaires; using the Likert scale. It was developed by using intercultural learning and perception. It was distributed to 34 students consisting of 28 female students and 6 male students. The data were analyzed by using a statistical package to find out the total perception of the students. The results showed that students had positive perceptions that were obtained from the three indicators, namely motivation, difficulties, and material efficacy of using intercultural learning material in the drama subject. The perception of motivation, difficulties, and material efficacy were categorized as positive perceptions. It has a percentage of 77.5%, 74.8%, and 75.8% for each indicator. Thus, intercultural learning material is effective learning material, especially in the drama subject.

Abstract

The existence and development of Islamic boarding schools are inseparable from the figure of the kiai, who play a central role in these institutions and serve as an intellectual actor in their movement and development. One of the main challenges faced by these madrasas is the low quality of the educational process, attributed to deficiencies in management, curriculum, and teaching staff. This study aims to determine the role of the kiai’s leadership in developing the Islamic boarding school in Bandung city. It seeks to understand how the kiai's leadership contributes to character development and learning outcomes in the context of Bandung. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. Key informants include kiai and pesantren leaders, selected through snowball sampling. The data analysis process involves data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that the leadership style applied at the Islamic Boarding School in Bandung City is democratic and transformational. The kiai plays a crucial role as a supervisor, motivator, caregiver, advisor, educator, facilitator, coordinator, and role model in shaping the character of the students. The implication of this research is that optimizing the leadership role of kiai in Islamic boarding schools, both interpersonal, informational and decisional roles of kiai in Islamic boarding schools, is important in the process of improving the character of students in Islamic boarding schools. the results of this study recommend the involvement of a kia to all stakeholders in building student character.

Abstract

Extensive study has been conducted on professional educators, however, the integration of Islamic principles into their teaching practises has been overlooked. This study aims to determine Islamic professional madrasah teachers based on makarim syari’ah in the teaching profession. This study used a phenomenological research design involving 16 Aliyah madrasa teachers as informants. Data was collected by conducting interviews with madrasa teachers and analyzed using a systematic design. This research shows that professional teachers based on makarim syari’ah as an act that draws closer to the attributes of God, have commendable qualities such as wisdom, kindness, generosity, knowledge and forgiveness. Islamic professional madrasa teacher in the context of makarim syari’ah, anyone who has God's attributes, such as hikma, jud, hilm. 'ilm and 'awf, even though the attributes of Allah SWT. This is far nobler than His qualities that exist in humans. Commendable qualities are the main glue for teachers in carrying out the teaching profession to achieve success in learning. The teaching profession is not only used to teach humans but to bring himself to be a pious human being in the sight of Allah SWT. This is especially relevant for madrasa teachers, as it is a central part of the future madrasa teaching profession to promote their Islamic profession and build a generation of morals and dignity in the future.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of the Kampus Merdeka Program in promoting cross-cultural understanding in the context of agriculture during students' exchange. By employing a literature review as the methodological approach, the study synthesizes existing scholarly works to analyze the effectiveness of international exchange programs in fostering intercultural learning within the agricultural domain. The review delves into various aspects, including the impact of cultural immersion, communication barriers, and the significance of intercultural competence in the context of agricultural education. The findings aim to shed light on the benefits of cross-cultural experiences in agricultural learning environments, paving the way for future enhancements in the Kampus Merdeka Program and similar initiatives worldwide.
