This study discusses the teaching-learning process seen from the humanistic education theory from Carl Ransom Rogers at Asmaul Husna Learning Park, South Jakarta. This paper focuses on the educational perspective's operation through fun learning techniques, integrated learning, and thematic learning. In this paper, the data sources are obtained through field observations and structured interviews from January to July 2019 using the case study method. Through the humanistic educational theory approach, this educational study is the importance of understanding the character and potential of early childhood to optimally develop children intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Although sometimes some students are disobedient or lazy to take part in learning, teachers and institutional managers anticipate this by presenting information about child development. Even to a certain extent, the institution also includes parents to participate in learning activities together. Here is also the importance of a teacher's creativity in communicating, choosing parenting styles, and various other stimulations when carrying out the teaching and learning process in class and outside the classroom. Without teachers' creativity in teaching and learning, the improvement and enhancement of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects will not be optimal. An educational perspective places the humanization aspect as the basis for transferring knowledge, transferring human values, and transferring happiness.

This study aims to reveal the academic stress of final students in the current Covid-19 pandemic era. The research design used a quantitative descriptive survey of 113 students from various universities in Indonesia, including undergraduate (bachelor), master, and doctoral education levels. The research instrument used an academic stress scale developed by the researcher, which consisted of twelve question items. The distribution of the tool was carried out using google forms. The results showed that several factors caused student academic stress. There are cost factors (difficulty paying tuition fees / UKT and demands to return the scholarship), study conditions (difficulty consulting with supervisors/promoters and unable to find references in the library), and personal problems (conflicts with friends or with a partner and less comfortable boarding/house conditions). Student academic stress is the highest experienced by doctoral students compared to undergraduate and master's level students. Online counselling is recommended to help students experiencing academic stress to complete their studies on time.

This study aims to determine how undergraduate students at Indonesian higher education institutions think about future jobs associated with aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the increase in precariat work. It involved twenty students from two public universities located in Aceh, Indonesia. Online in-depth interviews were used as the data collection methods. Additionally, Snyder’s hope theory was utilised as a theoretical framework for this qualitative study. The theory would be useful in understanding the students’ insights related to the precarity of the future job, especially in the aspect of goals, pathway, and agency. The study found that despite having a lack of visualisation towards the future, the undergraduate students generally believed that COVID-19 and precarious working arrangements were serious challenges towards future employment. Academic achievements such as high grades might not be sufficient unless supplemented by substantial organisational skills, vast networking, and a resilient entrepreneurial mentality. This study also underlined the vital role of higher education institutions in strategically preparing their students to face the unpredictability and precariousness of the future job marketplace.

This research was designed to investigate which factors influenced the formation of lecturers’ expectations amid online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak in an Indonesian Islamic university. The recent study employed an exploratory case study by observing online EFL writing learning activities, interviewing the three lecturers, and collecting documents. The data was then analyzed qualitatively using an interactive model. Lecturers' expectations in this study were viewed from the key focus of expectation: feedback provided by lecturers. They established class-level expectations, not individual ones as primary and secondary levels. This study elucidates Islamic university lecturers' factors contributing to form expectations: lecturers’ past teaching experiences and teaching self-efficacy. Lecturers have not highly adjusted to any change that emerged in online learning. Accordingly, they have not shown firm belief in grouping students and assuring students’ originality in composing essays. At the same time, the students' demographic factors were motivation and gender. Female students showed higher motivation through participating more often during discussions. It yielded more learning feedback they received. Implications of this study were noted for self-reflection among lecturers to establish high expectations for students to enhance their learning.
