Abstract

This present research was conducted in the SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang. 45 students from XI class of Social Science 1 were recruited as the subject of this research. This research includes classroom action research consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The data for student learning activities are collected by using observation sheets, meanwhile, the data for student learning activities to learning outcomes are collected by observing the score progress in the test cycle I and cycle II. The objective of this study are; 1) To describe and analyze the use of role-playing learning model in improving students activity of XI class SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang in economic subjects, and 2) To observe the student’s activity and poor students' in economic subjects after implementing the Role Playing learning model. In this research, student learning activities increased from 46.67% in the first cycle to 73.33% in the second cycle. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes increased from 73.3% to 77.8% in cycle II. It can be concluded that role-playing learning model increased the learning activity and outcome of the XI social science class 1 of SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang. Keywords: role-playing learning models, student learning activities, learning outcomes DOI: 10.17977/um013v1i22017p073

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) how the application of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model with word square games on economic subjects of class X IPA 3 Cross Stone City interest, (2) whether the application of teams games tournament (TGT) learning model with word square games can increase learning interest and learning outcomes of economic subjects in class X IPA 3 Cross Interest in the city of stone. Data was collected by looking at observation sheets, questionnaires, student tests, field notes and reflection. The following are the results of the research: (1) The implementation of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model with word square games applied with excellent titles proved to be an increase from cycle I to cycle II, 69.44% to 87.03%, (2) there was an increase in students' interest in learning before and after the application of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model with word square games, namely from students only interest in being very interested in learning, (3) the average value of students through a cycle final test of 36, 1% to 91.66%.Keywords: Teams Games Tournament Learning Model (TGT), Word Square Learning Model, Interests, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to understand the application of cooperative learning techniques STAD method in collaboration with Talking Stick to improving student learning result of an economics class in Senior High School. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with a qualitative approach. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages of action planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning techniques STAD method in collaboration with Talking Stick on economic subjects can improve student learning results in economics class. In more detail, in the first cycle, the average pre-test score was about 43.63 and post-test 79.37 with the completeness s percentage 56.25 percent. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the average value of pre-test value 52.72 with the completeness percentage approximately 6.06% and the post-test score was 84.24 with a completion percentage of 81.81%.

Abstract

This study was conducted in order to determine that the application of Mind Mapping learning model toward students’ creativity and student learning outcomes in economics subject. This paper applied in class X IPS 2 Brawijaya Smart School in  Malang. This matters addressed to overcome the problem in the classroom related to students’ creativity and learning achievement. The study followed a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive analysis. The study was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consisted of four steps consisting of planning; Implementation, observation, and reflection. Therefore, the presence and role of researchers in the field are indispensable. The data were collected from observation sheets, documentation, field notes, test questions. Based on the research that has been conducted in Brawijaya Smart School in Malang, It can be known that the implementation of Mind Mapping learning model can improve student’s creativity on economic subjects. In addition, Mind Mapping learning also promotes better learning outcomes on economic subjects.Keywords: Mind Mapping, Creativity, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

During learning process in school, there are many factors which relate one another. They determine how well learning process can be achieved. That factors are teachers, students, curriculum, lesson, test, and environment. The purpose of this study is to solve a problem at students grade X 2 MA Miftahul Falah Pasuruan, these problems are activeness and learning outcomes with the implementation of learning model Talking Stick and Course Review Horey. This study had been done in two cycles where every cycle has 3 times meetings. Data obtained by observation, and test after the action. The result of this study shows that the implementation of learning model Talking Stick and Course Review Horey on economics subject can increase students activeness and learning outcomes in class grade X-2 MA Miftahul Falah Pasuruan. Students activeness at the cycle I obtained 58% while at cycle II students activeness increases to be 83%. Learning outcomes at the cycle I obtained 62% while at the cycle II learning outcomes increases to be 100%. Keywords: Talking Stick, Course Review Horey, Learning Outcome

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to explain how the application of learning methods Guided Note Taking (GNT) and learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in the subjects of economics and whether the application of learning methods Guided Note Taking (GNT) and learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on economic subjects can improve student learning outcomes. This research used a qualitative approach to the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) so that the presence and role of researchers in the field is indispensable. Data studied were focused on student learning outcomes. The results from 1th cycles shows by percentage the thoroughness of learning outcomes is the pre test in the value of 0% and a post-test at 22,85%. In the second cycle of learning outcomes obtained by the percentage of completeness study results showed an increase in value of 22,85% pre test and post test amounted to 77,14%. And the affective domain also increased from initially that no students were classified in the very good category, become 3 students that are classified as very good. Abstract

This study aims at understanding the implementation of debate-based learning models on critical thinking skill of economic students in senior high school. This research was conducted in a senior high school in Malang particularly in SMA Laboratory UM. The study applied a classroom action research by comparing students’ critical thinking skills during research period. The level of critical thinking skill adopted Structure Observed Learning Outcome (SOLO) Taxonomy which consisting of Prestructural, Unistructural, Multistuctural, Relational, and Extended Abstract Thinking Skills. The findings showed that a remarkable change of students’ critical thinking skills during cycles. The average of post-test score between cycles increased by 11.9 percent. In addition, the level of students critical thinking skill was dominated by Prestructural, Unistructural, Multistructural then it move noticeably to the greater level which is Multistructural, Relational and Extended Abstract. From these results,it can be concluded that the implementation of debate-based learning can stimulate students’ learning activities and critical thinking skills.Keywords: Debate-Based Learning, Critical Thinking, Students’ Activities

Abstract

This research established from the case application of the studying model full of speech problem to the result of student and its happen before the existence of LCD facilities in the school. A solution to this case are studying model include jigsaw and mind mapping. This research is kind of research which changes the activity in the class and located in MA Al-Munawaroh Kembangbahu Lamongan to the 10th-grade social student. Data collection technic through question paper, observation paper, scoring format, notes from field research, documentation, and other questionnaire paper. The result of this research shows that there’s increasing the cognitive domain of the studying technic which by all student from the cycle 1 to cycle 2 are about 23%, affective domain this one 14,6% and psychomotor are 13 %.

Abstract

The change that happens in human is due to the learning process that makes when someone is studying, then, the better the response decreases. However, it is not consistent with those observed during the teaching practice SMAN 2 Batu. The problem is in terms of liveliness that the lack of participation of student during the learning takes place while in terms of achievement only 40% of student who passes the daily tests, while 60% did not pass. If that is allowed, then most students will not be able to continue to a higher class. Meanwhile, this study is conducted to determine the implementation of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and Talking Stick in order to enhance the activity and student achievement of Economic in SMAN 2 Batu. This study is a qualitative study. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning using scientific learning approach in accounting subjects of class XI trading companies Accounting of SMK Negeri 1 Malang. This type of research is the development of research using a development model Borg and Gall (1983) which has been modified according to the needs of research. The trial subject of this research is the subject teachers as well as the trading company's accounting class XI AK 3 and 4 which respectively accounted for 36 and 31 students. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques and descriptive percentage. The results validate learning experts obtained a value of 84.38%, 75% of subject matter experts, 77.26% of the experts the development of teaching materials, as well as from the user namely 75% of teachers and students by 82.29%. The average percentage of 79.79% for the overall learning model, 75% for instructional material contained in the book of teachers and students, as well as 77.26% of the student book so it can be concluded that the learning model that consists of teachers and students developed books is feasible and can be used in the learning process. Keywords: scientific learning model, accounting, project-based learning DOI: 10.17977/um013v1i22017p082
