Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of NPL (Non Performing Loan), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio), ROA (Return On Assets), ROE (Return On Equity), NIM (Net Interest Margin), BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Income), and CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) on stock prices in the Banking Sub-Sector were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2008 to 2012. Number of samples taken through purposive sampling method is as much as 24 of the total population of 32 commercial banks. Analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis, whereas hypothesis testing using simultaneous significance test (test statistic F) and partial test of significance (t statistic test). Based on the classical assumption, there is multicollinearity between ROA and ROE variables. Therefore, the researcher chose to drop the ROE variable. The results showed that simultaneously, NPL, LDR, NIM and ROA significantly. LDR ratio had significant negative effect. NIM ratio had significant positive and ROA ratio had significant negative effect on stock prices in the banking sub-sector were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2008 to 2012. Abstract

This research has objective to empirical evidence that independent variables in this research ex financial leverage, reputastion auditor, return on assets, reputation underwriter, company size, firm age can be effect to underpricing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange periods 2008-2012. This research uses data from all companies that listed in Indonesia stock Exchange periods 2008 – 2012. Samples are used as sixthy companies. This research show the occurrence of underpricing in initial public offering. There is variable effect auditor, company size, firm age, eith the level of underpricing that listed in Indonesia stock exchange. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengkaji dan menganalisis Economic Value Added dan Market Value Added dari PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia.Tbk and PT. Indosat.Tbk Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian dan pengumpulan data laporan keuangan PT.Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk dan PT.Indosat. Tbk dalam 10 tahun terakhir, dan membandingkan kinerja perusahaan tersebut kemudian menganalisanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kinerja Economic Value Added dan Market Value Added secara simultan pada PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Tbk dan PT. Indosat dan keduanya berada dalam kategori MVA positif; (2) Ada perbedaan kinerja keuangan Economic Value Added PT.Telekomunikasi indonesia.Tbkand PT.Indosat, Tbk. Kinerja Keuangan Economic Value Added dalam 10 tahun terakhir.

Abstract

Abstrak Bisnis merupakan aktivitas yang memerlukan tanggung jawab moral dalam pelaksanaannya, sehingga etika dalam praktik bisnis memiliki hubungan yang erat, tak terkecuali pada industri penerbangan. Memetik dari pentingnya sikap etik dalam kehidupan bisnis maka dianggap penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana perusahaan menghadapi masalah-masalah yang krusial dalam menjalankan praktik etika bisnis. Budaya organisasional memiliki peranan penting dalam penerapan etika bisnis perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasional terhadap penerapan etika bisnis dan penerapannya di perusahaan pada industri penerbangan Indonesia. Kontribusi terhadap pengetahuan diwujudkan dalam bentuk review dan penambahan wawasan keilmuan mengenai penerapan etika bisnis khususnya di perusahaan penerbangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Data primer berupa hasil kuesioner yang diisi oleh 79 karyawan perusahaan pada industri penerbangan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji F, regresi sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil wawancara dianalisis dengan content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah memiliki kode etik (code of conduct) yang menjadi panduan bagi karyawan dan stakeholder yang selalu disosialisasikan oleh perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil uji F hitung sebesar 17,922 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh budaya organisasional terhadap penerapan etika bisnis perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif antara budaya organisasional dan etika bisnis. Berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasional memberikan pengaruh sebesar 18,92% terhadap penerapan etika bisnis, sedangkan sisanya 81,08% disebabkan oleh variabel lainnya. Kata Kunci: budaya organisasional, etika bisnis, industri penerbangan. Abstract Ethic holds an important role in business organization. This means that anyone conducting in aviation industry needs to imbue themselves with noble ethic and also moral responsibilities. Concerning to the importance of ethic in business, the researchers believe that it is important to know how airline companies face the crucial problems in their practice. This study aims at analyzing the influence of organizational culture on the implementation of the business ethics of the Indonesian aviation industry. This is a descriptive quantitative study. The primary data were collected through questionnaires and interview to the employees in aviation company in Indonesia. The primary data from the questionnaires were analyzed using simple regression and coefficient. The data from the interview were analyzed using content analysis. The result showed that the companies already have the code of conduct for the employees and stakeholders. The F-test revealed that the company culture influence the implementation of the business ethics of the Indonesian aviation industry. The simple linear regression showed the positive relationship between the organization culture and the Business ethic. The coefficient determination revealed that organization culture contribute to the 18,92% on the implementation of the business ethics, while the 81,08% is caused by other variables. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebutuhan experiential, kebutuhan social, dan kebutuhan fungsional terhadap keputusan pembelian di Kedaton Rumah Batik Yogyakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung di Kedaton Rumah Batik Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling yaitu metode pemilihan sampel yang diambil dari anggota populasi yang dipilih secara kebetulan sesuai tujuan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi berganda. Hasil dari pengujian regresi berganda menghasilkan persamaan Y= 0,180 X1 + 0,597 X2 + 0,353 X3. Hasil uji F dengan sifnifikansi 0.000 0,05. Ada pengaruh antara X2 (kebutuhan social) terhadap Y (keputusan pembelian) sebesar 0,597 signifikansi 0,000

Abstract

The learning method subjects Banks and Other Financial Institutions in Higher Education in general is still ongoing in the classical form of face-to-face in the classroom between students and professors who refers to the reference/guide Bank and Other Financial Institutions. The learning process causes less students gain learning experience in making investment in the Bank and Other Financial Institutions. Efforts to improve the learning process with the development model of contextual approach in learning subjects Banks and Other Financial Institutions. The purpose of this study was to assess the students' perceptions about learning subjects Banks and Other Financial Institutions with a contextual approach. The population in this study were students Management and Accounting Faculty of Economics, which cover subjects UST Banks and Other Financial Institutions. The research sample number of 50 students.The method of analysis with behavioral approach system usage information Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results show that the descriptive aspects: (1) perceived ease of use were high, average scores obtained for 80.2% (2) perceived ease of use is high, the average score of 91.3%; (3) attitude toward using higher category, the average score of 90% ,; while the aspect (4) Behavioral Intention to Use categorized as high, averaging a score of 91.3%; and (5) the actual technology usage were high, averaging a score of 95.2%. Perception of students in the learning of subjects Banks and other financial institutions with a contextual approach to feel the benefits, ease of use and attitude is positive and fun and not boring. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of EPS, ROA, and ROE on changes in the value of family retail companies. In addition, this research is also expected to be able to answer the magnitude of the influence of profitability ratios on changes in the value of retail companies. The research method used is panel regression analysis which then the model used is Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research show that only EPS can be used as a variable on the value of retail companies. Then profitability ratios can influence the value of retail companies but not the most dominant ones.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada konsumen pria dan wanita terhadap kopi Kapal Api. Dalam penelitian ini yang merupakan variable dependent adalah sikap konsumen, sedangkan yang merupakan variable independent adalah atribut produk yang terdiri dari harga, merek, kemasan dan promosi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Berbah dengan menggunakan kuesioner, sebanyak 100 responden yang diambil sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis rata-rata hitung diketahui bahwa sikap konsumen pria dan wanita dari atribut produk kopi Kapal Api berupa harga, merek, kemasan dan promosi menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Dari hasil analisis uji beda dua mean diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu : z-hitung < z tabel sehingga tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap konsumen pria dan sikap konsumen wanita terhadap kopi Kapal Api di Kecamatan Berbah Sleman Yogyakarta. Dari keempat variable atribut harga terdapat satu variable yang dominan terhadap sikap konsumen dalam membeli produk kopi Kapal Api yaitu variable merek yang dianalisis dengan metode Aritmatik Mean (rata-rata hitung) dengan nilai rata-rata hitung 4,02 yang menunjukkan persepsi yang sangat positif (yaitu pada interval 4,01 – 5,00). Kata kunci : harga, merek, kemasan, promosi dan sikap konsumen

Abstract

There was a lot of study about the proverty phenomenon of society. Most of them aim at proverty character and to observe poor people’s eforts as individual or society group to fulfil their life needs, and their capability to survive as well. In case, proverty problem became important notice of stake holders, include government and non government organization. It also considered from all perspective, like social, economy dan culture for decreasing the amount of poor people. At the very least, it done by qualitative approach with study case, can reveal the proverty problem. This research is done at Rutong and Leahari villages, subdistrict Leitimur Selatan Ambon city. Abstract

This study examined the organization climate and job nature as the cause of sexual harassment and the effects toward job motivation, job stress, job satisfaction, and job performance. One hundred and twelve sales promotion girl who still carry status as college students are participating in this research. There are some findings in this research. The organization climate has a connection with job nature. Meanwhile, the organization climate and job nature affect toward sexual harrasment. The next finding is that sexual harassment has affects toward job stress, but this research is resulting a surprising finding where sexual harassment has no affects on job motivatiion and job satisfaction. Next finding is that job stress affects job motivation positively. Meanwhile, job motivation does not affect job performance. The last finding is that job satisfaction does not affect job performance.
