Abstract

This study aims to examine previous research in order to determine the role of competitive advantage as a variable that mediates the effect of differentiation strategy and cost leadership strategy on firm performance. This study applies various theories, namely resource-based-view (RBV) theory, and Market-based-view (MBV) theory to explain the relationship between variables. As a literature study article, this article contributes to developing a conceptual framework on how to combine the two perspectives of generic strategy and competitive different advantages. This article has importance for management and further research considering that not many previous studies have used the theoretical framework to test similar research models. This study has limitations in obtaining research that examines competitive advantage in research with firm performance. This research introduces a new framework that illustrates the contribution of competitive advantage to company performance through the implementation of a differentiation strategy and cost leadership strategy.

Abstract

This research trying to explains the management of the nation's economic development based on preserving the environment, which is the forest. This is because economic development has always been identified with environmental damage, including deforestation. As one of the countries with the largest tropical rainforest globally, Indonesia is automatically one of the focuses on its economic development is utilizing existing forestry resources. This causes a massive deforestation process, so the international community pressures Indonesia by accusing Indonesia of being one of the world's countries that cause climate change. Therefore, currently, the Government of Indonesia has established a Green Economy Development Program to overcome the problem of climate change caused by economic activities. The idea of Green Economic Development is essential to discuss because of the nation's priority for strong economic growth and sustainable development. One form of green economic development is to introduce the hutanomics concept, a concept of economic development management that is harmonized and based on the interests of forests and nature, which the author has adopted as the theme of this research. With a qualitative approach, the descriptive method, the researcher explains the management of the nation's economic development based on preserving the environment, which is the forest. Research findings show that economic development does not always have to come at the expense of the environment like deforestation. One of the concepts introduced is Hutanomics (Forest Economic), a management concept of economic development by aligning economic interests with the interests of forests and nature. Environmental impact analysis is critical to Hutanomics because it involves the claims of nature and the necessity of a collaboration between the government, the corporate world, and the community, each with their own functions

Abstract

Although marketing and entrepreneurship are not new concepts, in times of social restrictions due to the pandemic generated by Covid 19, which has limited at least half of the world's population, marketing and entrepreneurship, such as MSMEs, have been significantly impacted. The intensity of consumers and the declining flow of goods and services resulted in a reduction in the income of business actors and a decrease in the flow of goods and services traded. This study discusses marketing and entrepreneurship in the era of social restriction policies. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results of the study show that the decline in marketing as a result of COVID-19 has caused entrepreneurs who are generally SMEs to transform into digital entrepreneurs by adopting digital technology and digital marketing. . However, in this study, the authors also found that the process of transformation into a digital entrepreneur cannot be done without the support of the government through the promotion of digitalization of the entrepreneurial sector such as the entrepreneurship sector. In general, the conclusion from the entrepreneurial side is that businesses must grow according to consumer needs, namely where they want to go and under any conditions. This is where the need to transform marketing and entrepreneurship into digital entrepreneurship and digital marketing.

Abstract

Any organization's success is contingent upon the activities of its staff. This results in ongoing changes in human capital management, where knowledge is viewed as critical for developing appropriate responses to market changes and uncertainties. This study will examine the theoretical underpinnings of knowledge management in the Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSME) sector from this vantage point. This research focuses on the importance of knowledge in business, human capital management, and knowledge management for MSME players in order to accomplish this goal. The methodology utilized is qualitative in nature and entails a review of theory and literature to establish a determined viewpoint on problems pertinent to the research object. The findings indicate that human capital management is frequently informal, resulting in an insufficient understanding by MSME actors of the importance or low value of their workforce, which is treated as an operator or manual worker rather than as a subject, thereby underestimating them by failing to recognize that they possess the necessary knowledge to strengthen their creativity and innovate in response to competitive demands. We argue that this technique violates fundamental knowledge management principles, most notably adaptability, self-confidence, leadership, and human resource development, all of which contribute to business-to-market uncertainty.

Abstract

Inside the equipment there are many electronic components such as resistors, transistors, capacitors and so on. When used in the production of electronic equipment, PCBs are very influential in the manufacture of these electronic devices, for example, when there are only a few broken or damaged PCB paths, the electronic device cannot be operated properly. So it is very important in the PCB Quality Check process to check whether there is damage to the PCB or not. Usually in PCB inspection only direct checking is used in the conventional way. Therefore, in this study, the author tries to create and analyze a PCB flaw checking tool with the help of a camera that has a high revolution to replace human vision to make it easier and save costs. The application of this PCB checking tool uses a technology called a laptop and a camera. With these two technologies, Image Processing can be used to detect objects using the OpenCv and Tensorflow libraries. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has become a very dangerous infectious disease with so many deaths globally. Through the National Disaster Management Agency, the government then coordinates to suppress disasters resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic by implementing social distancing and physical distancing policies. But unfortunately, there are still many violations among the public in following this policy, such as going out of the house carelessly when there are restrictions. Therefore, it is necessary to have a policy from the government against violators of this regulation. This research will use a statute approach and a conceptual approach. The study results found that the Indonesian government had made various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and implemented different new laws to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Several government policies that support this effort are the implementation of work from home, social distancing, etc. Finally, there are also criminal sanctions given to people who are not in line with government policies through article 212, article 216, and article 218 of the Criminal Code.
